Since I already have a Golden Retriever of my own, our home is very dog-friendly and we naturally have plenty of dog toys, supplies, and space for pups to feel comfortable. Our property is not fenced, so dogs will never be allowed to roam outside unsupervised. I’m more than happy to use a secure in-ground tie-out for dogs who are comfortable with one, or keep them leashed whenever we’re outside. I understand that every dog has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, so I’ll always follow your instructions and do my best to make your pup feel safe, loved, and at home while they’re in my care. Before their stay, I’d love for you to tell me a little about your pup—their personality, daily routine, favorite things, any quirks or tendencies they may have, and anything else you think I should know. About: Hi, I am Joie, an experienced and caring pet sitter, dog foster, and owner of Dogwood Bed & Biscuit. I have had furry family members my whole life and have also been a dog foster for over 15 years. I just absolutely love all animals. I strive to provide a safe, fun home for the little dogs under 40 lbs. Ages 12 weeks to senior. I am experienced administering meds. Dogs are welcome to sleep wherever they are most comfortable, and I have more toys than most pet stores, as well as dog beds scattered throughout the house. I also have a dog door to the backyard; dogs are welcome to come and go to enjoy the sun in a safe, fenced-in yard or stay inside snuggled in a cozy bed. I can provide a kennel if the owner prefers. I will accept unneautered/unspayed pups but will not sit more than one at a time. I host meet-and-greets with all new families to ensure I am a good fit for your pup. I do work downtown in the afternoons on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but am home all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends. I do not offer house-sitting or drop-ins, but I am available for dog daycare and boarding. I can also possibly provide pickups and drop-offs within a certain radius for an additional fee. About: Ever since I was a kid I was bring home stray cats to nursery back to health. I am still doing it back in September I found my current cat Jup outside in with a really young kitten. Unfortunately the kitten was too sick so we found it a better home equipped to take care of it need but we had to keep Jup.

About: I’ve had animals in my life since I was a baby. I have always enjoyed being around animals and playing with them and building trust with them and being able to cuddle with them on tough days. I have had different types of animals in my life. I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamster, bearded dragon. I currently work part time as a nanny on mondays and Friday and I also currently am trying to create my own business of refurbishing furniture when I have the time. So I am available most days. If yard is fenced I let them run and play and watch them at all times. Otherwise I will put a leash on them so they stay close. I will also pay attention to where they are at all times.

“Margarita has been a wonderful, flexible, accommodating, understanding, champion for me and Spike. He is having a good time there. When I get him he is always a happy puppy and I can tell he is well taken care of. He comes home and he likes to take naps afterward, poor puppy having so much fun with her dogs and her cute youn son. Nice open space for Spike to walk on leash and not worry about his safety. Definitely booking again (already have the reservations). It’s nice to know that my 11week puppy has a loving and caring place that takes care of him while I am at work.”

About: I've intermittently assisted my sister at her pet grooming business over the past 10+years. This time is also when I started watching dogs for some of her clients and I then found clients of my own through word of mouth. I've stayed in people's homes with their pets, I've had pets stay at my home. I have experience with puppies to senior dogs, kittens to senior cats. I have experience with toy breeds to Giant breeds. About: My husband and I are former dog foster parents and love meeting/spending time with new dogs! We have one resident (foster fail!) dog: Tesha, a rambunctious tripod who loves people. We especially love older dogs in our house but are open to dogs 1 year and up. We have a fully fenced in backyard and a tie out available for outside play time. We have space to keep dogs separated if you have a dog that is shy or needs very slow introductions (we have a three level home). Our resident pup is allowed on our bed if she chooses, but we have plenty of dog beds around too, and we do not allow dogs on our couch. We will do our very best to accommodate your pups needs and keep you updated on how your four legged family member is doing while you are away! I currently work from home and am able to take breaks to allow potty and attention breaks. My husband is also home most of the time and will be available when I am not. We like to do slow introductions to other dogs to ensure the comfort of our resident dogs and the visiting pups. We have the space to crate or allow roaming on separate levels if needed.

About: I've always loved dogs. I've spent five years working at a dog shelter as office manager, intake person which includes giving oral and injection medications, adoption coordinator, feeding and watering, cleaning, and socializing. I'm available during the week before 9am and after 1pm. Weekends are open. I work at the humane society but don't get to interact with the furry friends. I miss them! Also, I enjoy nature walks and stop as often as the dogs do to look at things. :) My schedule is flexible. When I am with dogs, it is sometimes hard to draw my attention away from them because they are so very loving and giving. I like to give that back to them.

About: I’ve taken care of my Tibetan Mastiff since before I can remember, and I’m my go-to neighborhood dog walker/caretaker. I love all shapes and sizes of dogs! I’m currently an online student at MNSU, so anytime during the weekday for boarding and walking is entirely open. Weekends work for specific dates and times. I have a reliable mode of transportation and I love taking care of animals. Whether it’s bathing, feeding, walking, or just sitting with a dog, I love to be there. I have grown up with a fear reactive dog, so I have experience with reading dog’s body language and reacting accordingly.

I’ll treat your dog like I would want someone to treat my own and make sure you’re kept updated while they’re with me. My schedule is flexible, especially during mornings and early afternoons, which gives me plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, and taking care of pets throughout the day. I also have days with significantly more availability and can accommodate overnight and weekend care depending on my schedule. I keep my Rover calendar updated so I only accept bookings when I know I can give your pet the time and attention they need. I take being trusted with someone else’s pet and home seriously. I’ll follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medications or other care instructions you provide. I’m also big on communication and will send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. For pets staying with me, I’ll make sure they have a clean, comfortable environment, regular bathroom breaks, exercise, attention, and plenty of time to settle in and feel comfortable.
About: We have had the pleasure of owning a small business called "Pet-Inn" and boarded many dogs! Me and my mom took care of others dogs for quite some time and really enjoyed it. This experience helped me become passionate about entrepreneurship as well as working towards a compassionate connection with your pets! I currently have a part-time small business I'm running apart from being a "SAHM" so I will have plenty of time to get to know your beloved pet and get to know them so I can take care of them in the best way I know possible! I have some free time in my schedule, so finding a slot during the week to care for your pet works well for us. I have a now 6-year-old who adores small dogs, cats, and other animals! I am well aware of the responsibilities of pet care, but I want to emphasize that your pet's safety is my top priority.

I’m happy to adjust to their normal feeding, walking, and potty schedule so they can feel as comfortable as possible. Having another furry friend around would be a welcome addition to our day! 🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort are extremely important to me. We live on just over 5 acres with plenty of space to explore and our own walking trails throughout the property, which are perfect for getting outside, going on walks, and getting some energy out! Since I already have a Golden Retriever of my own, our home is very dog-friendly and we naturally have plenty of dog toys, supplies, and space for pups to feel comfortable. Our property is not fenced, so dogs will never be allowed to roam outside unsupervised. I’m more than happy to use a secure in-ground tie-out for dogs who are comfortable with one, or keep them leashed whenever we’re outside. I understand that every dog has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, so I’ll always follow your instructions and do my best to make your pup feel safe, loved, and at home while they’re in my care. Before their stay, I’d love for you to tell me a little about your pup—their personality, daily routine, favorite things, any quirks or tendencies they may have, and anything else you think I should know. The more I know about them, the better I can make their time with me feel comfortable and familiar! 🐾

About: I have taken care of all types of animals since the age of 12. Most recently I have been working for almost a year at a dog boarding facility. I also own 3 dogs and 2 cats who have always been around other animals and are all up to date on vaccines I work from home and work Friday and Saturday during the mornings. If I am able to help I will definitely help in any way I can just message me I have a fenced yard and plenty of room for playing. “We were a bit anxious to leave our fur baby for an extended time - 9 days- when we went on vacation. I couldn’t imagine him being happy in a kennel with 100s of other dogs. That is why I’m so glad we discovered Rover and in particular Cheyann & Nicole. They were ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL with our little Ranger and treated him as if he was their very own. Each day we received pictures and texts about how his day was going and how he had adjusted to making friends with the other dogs that Cheyann was watching.
