We have a deep affection for creatures of all sizes and shapes, and our passion for pet care began in Monroe, NC, where we ran an in-home dog-sitting service. Some of our cherished former clients have even joined us in our new home! We relish the time spent with each furry guest, taking the opportunity to understand their unique personalities. Our fenced area provides a safe area to explore nature and exercise off-leash. A spacious and relaxing interior of the home is available for downtime. There will always be a loving person at home. We try to refrain from use of a kennel, unless this is what your pup is accustomed to. During their stay your precious pets are treated like another member of the household. We'll keep you well-informed with regular updates and promptly address any requests for additional information. We aim to provide you with peace of mind, knowing your dog is in excellent care when you're apart.

About: Hi pet-parent! I'm Coryne (pronounced "Kor-in" technically), and I'm starting a brand new career as a mental health therapist, which means I both don't have space for my own pets and need a little extra cash -- as a lifelong pet parent and animal lover who grew up around all sorts of animals; from cats and dogs, to horses and parrots, this is the first time, I'm not able to have pets of my own for awhile... so I have a big ol' hole in my heart to fill and I'm hoping you let me fill it with your friends while you're away! EXPERIENCE: - Primary professional and personal experience: dogs, cats, horses - Additional (minor) experience: bunnies and birds - Experience administering oral/topical meds, I know all the tricks, and happy to learn yours! - Experience with animal-reactive pets. I know how to dance the dance with them with multi-pet households where not everyone gets along perfectly. - Experience thinking on my feet when the unexpected happens, you can rely on me to figure it out, even if you forgot to write that one thing down. HIRING ME: - I'm happy sleeping on the couch, no need to make up a bed for me unless your pets prefer it. <3 - I will need some strong wi-fi for that remote work life, but that's about it. - Some pets are a bit wary of males, but are typically still comfortable with me even though I'm more male-presenting. - If you want pictures while you're away, I'm happy to blow up your phone with pictures and updates - my phone is full of 'em already and I love it! I work remotely, so pet care is easily something I can work into my routine in nearly any shape that takes for your own pets. I go above and beyond for my own pets, and I'd hope anyone watching them would do the same. So, I hope to provide that to your pets in any way you deem fit. I'm pretty good at learning and mimicking your routines with them so they feel as at ease as possible while you're away. At Denney’s Den, dogs enjoy doggy Airbnb-style stays in my home- a calm, cozy, low-stress environment where they’re treated like family and given personalized attention while away from their hoomans. I also offer drop-in visits in your home, ensuring your pets receive consistent, compassionate care in the space they’re most comfortable. Since retiring from healthcare, caring for animals has become my full-time work. I am home most days, allowing me to provide hands-on attention, supervision, and a calm, structured routine for the pets in my care. My home offers a calm, safe environment with a large fenced yard and two friendly dogs. I intentionally limit the number of boarding dogs so each pet receives personalized attention. About: I have owned dogs since I was 4. I have handled every size from chihuahuas to Great Danes. I am able to work with senior dogs as well as puppies. Given the opportunity to care for your furry friend, I am confident a great bond will form! I have open availability as long as I am given proper notice. I myself have 2 dogs who I take care of and need to ensure that someone will be with them if I am needed for house-sitting. Other than that I am freely available for services! I do not offer boarding within my home, however, I do know how to work most house alarms if needed for house-sitting. I also know how to work prong collars if you use one for your pet.

About: I have been around animals for the entirety of my life and have been raised to believe that they are family. I believe that animals come before myself. I think that my purpose as a human is to make their lives better! I am currently full time in school. My mornings Monday-Thursday are taken until 2pm. Other than that I am as free as you need me to be! I have a 10 pound Chihuahua mixed with Jack Russell, also have a redtick hound and a cat. About: I have been a large and small breed dog owner and caretaker for over 10 years. I have experience caring for dogs of most all sizes, ages, and breeds. Nothing suprises me and nothing is too much for me to handle. I have professional grooming experience and can provide baths for your dog(s) if wanted. I am usually very affectionate with dogs, but can adjust to your specific communication style if specified. I am constantly learning more about dog behavior and feel passionate about providing the best experience for both you and your dog. I am self-employed so have lots of flexibility on a day to day basis. I have a partner who helps care for my own pets, so yours will always be my top priority! About: I have many years of experience in the veterinary industry and animal health, and I've cared for animals my whole life, including senior pets, puppies and kittens, birds, and small mammals. I offer pet care on the side as my schedule allows, and my goal is always to accommodate what your pet is used to. For house sitting, my standard rate covers overnight care with normal daytime absences. I stay overnight and am out during the day, with potty breaks as indicated, plus meals and playtime. Some pets need more than that. Puppies, seniors, pets on medication, and dogs with separation anxiety often do best with someone home nearly full time. I'm happy to provide that level of care, but it's priced separately since it limits the other bookings I can take. If your pet can't be left alone for long, just mention it in your request and we'll sort out the right rate at the meet and greet. I also offer drop-in visits and dog walking, which are booked and priced separately. I offer pet care on the side as my schedule allows, with availability for drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting. I keep my calendar current, so if my profile shows your dates open, I'm happy to help — reach out and we'll set up a free meet and greet. I will treat your pets as if they were my own. About: I've taken care of my pets since I was 5, dogs and cats. I have bathed, fed, and consistently walked my dogs and played with my cats. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies.
