We have a deep affection for creatures of all sizes and shapes, and our passion for pet care began in Monroe, NC, where we ran an in-home dog-sitting service. We try to refrain from use of a kennel, unless this is what your pup is accustomed to. During their stay your precious pets are treated like another member of the household. We'll keep you well-informed with regular updates and promptly address any requests for additional information. We aim to provide you with peace of mind, knowing your dog is in excellent care when you're apart.

At Denney’s Den, dogs enjoy doggy Airbnb-style stays in my home- a calm, cozy, low-stress environment where they’re treated like family and given personalized attention while away from their hoomans. I also offer drop-in visits in your home, ensuring your pets receive consistent, compassionate care in the space they’re most comfortable. Since retiring from healthcare, caring for animals has become my full-time work. I am home most days, allowing me to provide hands-on attention, supervision, and a calm, structured routine for the pets in my care. My home offers a calm, safe environment with a large fenced yard and two friendly dogs. I intentionally limit the number of boarding dogs so each pet receives personalized attention. About: I have many years of experience in the veterinary industry and animal health, and I've cared for animals my whole life, including senior pets, puppies and kittens, birds, and small mammals. I offer pet care on the side as my schedule allows, and my goal is always to accommodate what your pet is used to. For house sitting, my standard rate covers overnight care with normal daytime absences. I stay overnight and am out during the day, with potty breaks as indicated, plus meals and playtime. Some pets need more than that. Puppies, seniors, pets on medication, and dogs with separation anxiety often do best with someone home nearly full time. I'm happy to provide that level of care, but it's priced separately since it limits the other bookings I can take. If your pet can't be left alone for long, just mention it in your request and we'll sort out the right rate at the meet and greet. I also offer drop-in visits and dog walking, which are booked and priced separately. I offer pet care on the side as my schedule allows, with availability for drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting. I have a 10 pound Chihuahua mixed with Jack Russell, also have a redtick hound and a cat. I will walk them, let them out potty,play with them, feed them,and give your furbaby the attention he or she deserves. I adore animals and ive been involved with the Aspca. About: I have taken care of dogs/animals since i was little. I have many exotic animals and 5 pups of my own that I absolutely adore! I am a stay at home pet mom. About: My family has animals and I have spent 9 years helping take care of their dogs and two cats. I have two dogs of my own and I have trained them myself as well as knowing when they need space, fed, or walked. Currently i don't work so i am free any day and anytime to be able to watch your animal. Animals are my best friend and I know they are yours too! I feed my animals twice a day based on their needs.
