About: I have had a dog within my household my entire life. Family and friends have asked me to watch their fur babies. I have provided drop in care and overnight care. I am a college student, so my schedule is very flexible to be able to give your fur babies all the love and attention they deserve/want! I can easily crate an animal when needed, I am always watching the clock to make sure I am on time for feedings and medicine. Walks are something I love to do if the animal permits. I am also comfortable transporting dogs, weather that be to a daycare or grooming appointment.

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve dealt with all kinds of pets. Specifically with dogs, I’ve raised a litter of puppies, trained a bird hunting dog, and trained three dogs for my parents. My hobbies typically involve dogs, and I’ve found myself to be very patient with all dog personality types. I’m great with puppies, senior dogs, and adult dogs. I currently attend Vet School at KSU. My school schedule is typically the same throughout the weekdays, but the hours allow me to spend a lot of time with your pets in the mornings and evenings. I sometimes get done in the early afternoons as well! I’m available everyday of the week in the later part of the days, and most weekends! I would love to be able to share my great amount of down time with your furry friends! I like to follow the instructions of the client when asked to care for their pet. If pets are allowed to roam free while alone, I always ensure there are no potential hazards for them to get into, and any rooms that are off limits have doors closed. Personally, I offer multiple opportunities to go outside for bathroom breaks and to play throughout the day. I use excitement and calmness when interacting with the pet to keep them engaged. When the pet makes it clear they want attention or to play, I give it to them and do not pick a phone/computer over them. The dogs I grew up with, were on a strict time feeding schedule, so I understand the importance of feeding other pets on their schedule as well.

About: As a pet parent myself, I know how scary it can be when searching for someone to care for your babies! I believe in creating a calm and caring environment when I am present with others pets and care for them as if they are my own! I have been raised around cats & dogs of all different personalities my whole life! I work part time 8am-12pm on Monday-Friday and I am able to care before work and anytime after! Weekends I am usually free all weekend! I like to meet clients and their pets prior to my booked service so I can create a calm environment with my arrival. When I am providing my services I adjust my approach depending on how things went at the introduction, some animals need higher energy while others need a calm entrance.

About: I’m Mark. I live in Manhattan with my wife, dog, and 16 year-old cat. I’ve had Dalmatians (high energy, stubborn) since I was a kid. I have experience with companion dogs, working dogs, elderly dogs, and have even helped my wife train our current pup (Pepper) as a registered therapy dog. I’ll make sure to take good care of your four-legged friends whether it’s on walks, drop-ins, or house sitting if needed! I recently left the Army and am figuring out what I want to do next. This means I’m free in the mornings and afternoons (9-3) weekdays and weekends for walks and drop-ins. I can accommodate house sitting on weekends with some advance notice. I take my own dog on hour-long walks most days, and she gets plenty of extra exercise playing in my fenced backyard and helping me dig holes in my garden. I understand all pets may not be up for that much activity and can adjust based on your needs!

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, and parrots! I love going on walks for dogs and would love to go hiking with your dogs (or cats if they like walks)! I have experience giving insulin shots to dogs and I am good at hiding medicine in treats. I am very flexible and can often show up at any time of the day! For late night checks and overnights I ask for a minimum of 8 hour notice. I currently only provide services in the client's home or walks. I do not currently have the capability to watch dogs in my own home but I am able to do overnights and last minute walks and checks late in the night if needed!

About: Since I was 20 years old, family neighbors, and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, water, and pet sit their dogs. I’ve taken care of dogs that are older and require meds as well as younger dogs. I don’t have a dog of my own yet but hopefully Rover will get me one step closer and be the final push I need! I like to let dogs sleep wherever they are most comfortable and do not require them to be crated at night so long as they are well behaved, potty trained and do not cause a disturbance to others. Guests will have free roam of the main areas of my home during their visit and will be allowed in bedrooms with supervision. All dogs will be separated at mealtimes so that they can eat without disruption and so that dogs don't feel the need to guard resources and also to avoid the chance of anyone getting an upset stomach from eating anyone else's food. Access to fresh water is provided around the clock (Please let me know if your dog is on any type of fluid restriction or if they have a recommended cut off time so appropriate measures can be taken). For dogs that free feed they will be offered food multiple times throughout the day but I am unable to leave food out as to ensure other dogs won't be able to consume it. A quick meet & greet is almost always required prior to a new stay. Occasionally a trial daycare or overnight may be necessary to make sure your pup is a good fit for longer stays. - For the safety of my family, pets and boarding/daycare guests that may be in my care I can NOT keep any dogs that are known to be aggressive in my home, if your dog shows any aggressive behavior at drop off or during their stay that can not be controlled or corrected, services will be subject to termination and your dog will be required to be picked up or alternate care arrangements be made. In the event that a stay is terminated due to aggressive, destructive or otherwise unsafe behavior, refunds will be given at my discretion. -Bring it list- • food• leash• collar/ harness• pet bed/blanket if they have something special they prefer. *I'm so very sorry but I can no longer accept new clients with the following breeds: GSD or Pit Bulls.
