“Claire is a wonderful sitter. She's highly professional and communicative. I appreciated her updates, feedback, and tips for the future. The updates made it clear my pup was well loved and cared for and had developed a special bond with Claire's husband. Claire was flexible about extending my girl's stay when my plans changed due to a family emergency. I recommend her highly.”

“Juno was well cared for and happy when I picked him up after staying with Erin. Great communication and daily photos. I would definitely book with Erin again.”

“My husband and I boarded our two small dogs with Ying while we travelled out of state recently. He took great care of them and consistently sent us photo and video updates so we could see how they were doing. He was easily able to administer medication for one dog, and was very attentive and accommodating. He has a great space with a very nice yard that they loved hanging out in. He even set up a soft place for them outside to sunbathe, even adding an umbrella for shade! We appreciate his kindness and responsiveness during their stay, and we’ll absolutely re-book in the future. Thanks Ying!”

About: Hi, I'm Desiree! I live in the hills in Southwest Eugene with my family & fur babies: four dogs, a cat, and a bunny. So animals are my everyday life. I know that leaving your pet with someone is a big deal, and I treat every pet like one of my own: lots of cuddles & attention, consistent routines, and clear updates, so you never have to wonder how they're doing. I have such a passion for doing this because when I’ve had to leave my fur babies it was really hard. I’m hoping to put you at ease knowing your fur baby is receiving love and attention while you are gone 💙💜 I currently work full time but my position is one that I get to work from home. So I am available anytime to watch the animal or walk them. My dogs and bunny would stay upstairs and there is a whole living area on the second floor. There is a gate on the stairs separating the living areas (due to my dog having bad hips). Your pet gets a fenced yard / daily walks and outdoor time, regular meals on your schedule, fresh water, and plenty of attention and play. I'm comfortable giving medications and following special diets or recovery instructions, and I'll send photo or video updates during every stay. Dogs sleep inside with us. We can do a meet-and-greet first so your pet can get comfortable with me.
“Kelli and Justin and their kids are wonderful. I couldn't have asked for better people to care for Our Stella girl for the weekend. Kelli and Justin was understanding in dealing with Stella’s anxiety about being away from home. They kept us posted and sent pictures on how Stella was doing, which helped us relax. They took Stella on walks and gave lots of love and playtime which I know Stella really enjoyed her stay. Thank you so much.”

“They took amazing care of our dog, Abby! They sent multiple updates throughout and Abby seemed to really enjoy the family. Could not have been more pleased with their care of our dog!”

“Cecelia watched our dog Hobbes, and it seems he enjoyed his stay! She sent pictures of him to update us, and he had the run of her back yard. Would definitely recommend Cecelia!”

“Tori was amazing! She took on my pups at the last minute due to my scheduled sitter canceling last minute. She was amazing with them and sent so many adorable pics to give me peace of mind that they were happy and content. Both my pups LOVED her pup! They were so happy to have a friend for the weekend. Will definitely rebook, with plenty of notice this time😉 Thanks again Tori!!”
“We feel lucky to have found Teresa! We know Myrtle is in good hands when Teresa is watching her. She sends updates & keeps Myrtle busy- which we greatly appreciate. Thank you Teresa!”

“Valerie took great care of my Perdi. She sent daily pictures of my girl playing with other dogs and just enjoying life. The setup Valerie has is great and I felt very comfortable leaving Perdi there. I will definitely board with her again in the future.”

“Mari and Steve were super communicative and sent us pictures regularly. They kept our dog busy and he was super happy and relaxed when we picked him up.”

“Angle took great care of my dog! I received regular updates, photos & videos & my pup. He loved playing with Tahoe & the other Rover friends. My dog came back happy, tired & content. He had such a blast on his mini vacation! Thanks Angie!”

About: Hello! My name is Chris, and I would love to be your dog's best friend while you are away :) When I first adopted my dog, Wilson, he was a challenge--very roudy, not house trained, and high energy! With lots of patience, training, and love, he has developed into the most mature and calm pup. My friends routinely comment that he seems like a totally new dog. I believe all he needed was a stable and loving home. As such, I have experience training, administering pills and medicine, and identifying / helping with ailments if they crop up. If your pup has any of these needs, I can help! I can't wait to meet your furry friend! I’m current a graduate student with a very flexible schedule. I can make sure that your pet will never be alone for more than a few hours at a time. I have a sweet 5 year old black lab who will be your fur baby’s best friend. I’m happy to crate your dog if needed, and can take them out for potty as frequently as needed. I live near a large park which is great for walks and nature time for your pup.
“We left our Golden Retriever at Wilna's house for a 3 day weekend and could not be happier with the service she and her husband provided. Two trips a day to the dog park, lots of toys at her beautiful home with nicely fenced backyard. Our dog is fast asleep and exhausted from a great adventure.”

“Rene provided the best care for our dog I could imagine. She clearly loves and understands animals and is able to flow with what I imagine are differences between animals. Our dog was cared for and not stressed when we picked him up. I was greatly impressed and would advocate her to any of my friends”

“Alysha took amazing care of Woody, and he got lots of love and exercise while staying with her. The text updates were great and very reassuring to hear our boy was doing well. We were very impressed with the ease of booking and the price. We will definitely book with Alysha again for any future dog sitting needs! Thank you again Alysha!”
“This was my first time using Rover and Helena and Chris made it the best experience possible. I had some concerns with leaving my high energy dog with someone else for a few days, but I felt immediately relieved after meeting Helena and Chris. They were super excited to spend time with my boy and made sure to spoil him with play and enrichment the whole time. Loved the pictures they sent, and will definitely be booking with them again in the future!”

Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
