“Billie Jo and her family were a breath of fresh air and treated our pup as if he were their own. She sent updated pics of our doggo every da. He looked like he had a blast and really loved her. He will definitely be back for regular visits and sleepovers. We appreciate all that she did for us and our big guy.”

“Sasha was very patient with our schedule. Early drop off late pick up. I think she treated our dogs like her own! They were very tired when we picked them up, wore them out!”

“I left my puppy Seven with Keitel and his family while I was on travel for work and everything went great. From the initial meet and greet I knew that Seven would be in great hands with him. Seven is an extremely busy GoldenDoodle who has a lot of energy. I got pictures daily and videos which was great. It was my first time being away from him so the videos helped my anxiety. 😊…. I have booked with Keitel again for a quick trip. I could tell that Seven loved being with Keitel too. When I picked him up he gave Keitel much love and respect. Animals know who are good to them and for them. It made my heart smile to see Seven react to him that way as we left.”

“Debbie and family took such good care of my two whippets. I got immediate responses to messages and pictures every day. They seemed to thoroughly enjoy my babies and I know the dogs loved their stay!”

“I couldn’t have found a better sitter than Lilly for my 2 pups! She loved on them like they were her own. The pictures she sent were so sweet, that I could tell they had a wonderful time! I will certainly use her services in the future and I’m sure Eli and Lily can’t wait to visit again!”

“Kylie is AWESOME!!! She sent great updates and pictures of my dog everyday. Super communication and accommodating for my crazy schedule. It looked like my dog had more fun with Kylie’s pack than she does at home. Definitely will book again.”

“Absolutely loved Tanya! We were looking for someone to watch our dog for a week and found her. The reviews everyone has left made us want to go with her. We took our dog to meet her a week before to ensure it was a good fit for all- and he loved it. While we were gone she text us photos and updates to let us know how it was going and our family absolutely appreciated that. We will 100% use her again.”

“Jeffery was reasonably priced, prompt in replying and communicated well what to expect. He was very kind and seemed to let Abigail get comfortable at her own speed as she's never stayed with anyone other than 2 or 3 immediate family members. Jeffrey sent pictures as promised and had her packed and ready to go when i picked her up. This was my first time using Rover and very relieved to find Jeffery! I hope he agrees to keep her should the need arise in the future!”

“Jake was awesome!! Would give him 10 stars if I could. I had peace of mind while traveling knowing my four legged kids were being well cared for. When I came to pick them up they almost didn’t wanna go home with me!! Thank you Jake!!!”

“Darian was great with my boy Floyd!! She sent so many fun updates of him and he looked so happy in every single one. I was very pleased with how she was with Floyd!! Would 100% recommend and go to again :)”

“Thank you Heather for the outstanding care of Lanikai. I could tell she was happy and content while she was at your home. I will definitely contact you should I need someone to love on Lanikai when I go out of town and she can’t come with me.”

“Ron was communicative and sent me pics so that I could see how Hachi was doing. He was able to put me at ease with leaving her with him. I plan to reach out again for any future sitting/boarding needs.”

“You can trust Jenny with your babies! Jenny was great. She sent me daily updates and pictures and was quick to respond. I was nervous to leave my puppy with someone for the first time but it was a great, easy experience. I would definitely recommend her and plan on using her again!”

I’m currently in school studying, which gives me a very flexible daytime schedule. I’m available for walks throughout the day and can accommodate a variety of timing needs, including mornings, afternoons and evenings! About: Hello! My name is Erin and I am a 23 year old here in Wichita. I have been around all sorts of animals my whole life! My family has had several dogs and cats and I have always been the one to care for them! Whether they are puppies/kittens who need trained or older dogs/cats who need cared for I have done it and love doing it! I currently have a very flexible schedule and am able to make time when needed! I have several available time slots in my day to tend to new responsibilities as needed. I have two dogs, a Great Pyrenees and an Australian Shepherd. Both are very high energy as they are still pretty young. I’ve taught them everything they know from sitting and shaking to walking good on a leash and catching a ball in the air and doing fun tricks. I’ve taught both animals to be gentle and loving to all living things from children to other animals. I have also always had cats throughout my life, and can give them lots of needed attention.

“We have tried boarding our dog in a kennel before and it was obvious he did not have a good time. When we went to pick him up from Janet's, he was so happy and I could tell he had a so much fun! It was such a great experience and a relief to know our baby was safe and happy while we were away. Janet was very easy to work with and provided updates and photos for us.”

About: I absolutely love dogs. I’ve had my dog, Simba, since a puppy & we’ve basically grown up together. I’m happy to provide boarding and sima will love having a buddy to play with. I only take one boarder at a time, so they will get loads of attention and play time. I also do drop-ins and walks. Simba and I are both patient with puppies as well, I know puppyhood can be a challenge! Will provide lots a pictures, videos & FaceTime check-ins as requested! Boarding is limited to weekends mostly as I work full-time and want to be sure your doggo is getting all my attention, but I can make arrangements to work from home on a case by case basis for longer stays. I am flexible for drop-ins and walks in the evenings and on the weekends! I have a large fenced yard and Simba loves to play! I also live near a few walking trails that will surely wear them out. Will provide lots a pictures, videos & FaceTime check-ins as requested!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Walton home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Walton.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Walton sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
