Mainly we make them feel safe and comfortable and keep things fun by playing and loving on them. My kids love dogs but have been trained on how to interact with stranger puppies. My yard is completely fenced.safety is top priority at my house. I have 3 small kids so therefore your dog must get alone with a 5 year old, 2 year old, and baby. I am a student studying environmental science.I grew up around dogs on our family farm up north and later in our lovely home in Alameda and I have been dog sitting and house sitting for friends my whole life. I want you and your pet to feel the most at ease -- in that of a known and comfortable environment. I'm amenable and responsive to any instructions, preferences, and needs. Most recently, I cared for a two-year-old mini Golden Doodle (while housesitting in Northern California) that unexpectedly developed an unfortunate "hot spot". Through diligent communication with her owners (who were vacationing in Europe), we coordinated how best to proceed. This included several visits to a vet, where she also, as it turned out, had double ear infections. Treatment protocol required both topical and oral medications twice daily. I recorded an audio of the summary diagnosis from the vet and shared this with her humans, as well as regular updates and photos of the healing progress. Simultaneously, I was asked to move her to a balanced raw diet (like that of my own dog), and which required more effort but that was entirely inline with what I'm already accustomed.
