“Communicates well, his experience and knowledge helped me worry less about leaving Lumi for the first time. I received check-ins/update with how Lumi was adjusting. Lumi will definitely be boarding with Keith again.”

“Janelle was very attentive and supportive during my booking. She is very responsive and will provide you with update on your fur baby. She sends pictures and keeps you updated. I will definitely be booking with her again!!”
“Kristin is amazing! I recently went out of town for vacation and when I do I normally use Kleinpeter boarding but this trip was last minute and they were already full for the holidays so I had to use Rover. Luckily I came across her profile and decided to use her because her profile fit the type of experience I was looking for, for my puppers. I’m so glad I did. She was attentive to my Velcro dog (Weimaraner) and kept we updated with pictures and videos throughout the board. I will definitely be using her again! She is a natural with caring for pets and loved my Ruger like her very own. Highly recommend!”

“Kelbie was fantastic! She picked up and dropped off Zummo, sent regular picture updates, and made sure he felt right at home. He came back happy and relaxed, and it was clear her whole family loved having him. I’ll definitely be booking with Kelbie again!”

“Makayla was pleasant. She provided pictures while Bentley was in her care and was very responsive in answering questions (messages). I wasn’t sure how Bentley would do with other dogs but he was pictured with other dogs and that’s something that made me very happy to see. I will rebook with Makayla.”

“Michael is my go-to dog sitter. He is a wonderful caretaker. He sends pictures and videos with his regular updates. My dog gets so excited whenever he sees Michael. It is such an assurance to know that our sweet boy is getting so much love and such great care while we are away. I HIGHLY recommend Michael. I'm sure that you will be as happy with him as we have been.”

“This was the first time we have left Noel in the 5 years we’ve had her. It was nice to know that she was well taken care of while we were gone. Now we know we can plan to take trips without worrying what to do with our pet. Thank you Jessica for taking good care of Noel and we look forward to booking you on future trips. God Bless You.”

“Maqita was just about as sweet and professional as you could possibly want. She was available on short notice and kept me updated daily with pics of my munchkin. She even threw a b-day party for her own pup which my lil one attended and she sent him home with a special birthday treat from the party! You can tell she’s a true dog lover and showered my senior pup with lots of love and care in my absence. I couldn’t ask for much more in a sitter. Consider yourself lucky and rest assured that your fur baby will be left in capable loving hands.”

“Hannah was great and sent lots of pictures of Keira! My only issue was not finding out about another dog being in the home until after dropping mine off which she did apologize for.”

“Jason was super nice to us and awesome with our Border collie! Kept her super active and played with her a lot! Our dog is definitely looking forward to staying with him again!”

“I can’t say enough about Emily! She watched both of my pups while I was away on vacation and they were sooo loved! She sent lots of pictures and updates. Will definitely be boarding with her in the future.”

“Alyssa was perfect with our girl, Basil! Very warm and inviting and made me feel at ease leaving our pup for the first time. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter. Her and her sweet pup were the perfect companions!!”

“Very pleased to meet Debra! When you meet her, you know she truly cares and she made us feel very comfortable while taking care of our dog. I can’t say enough, she also kept us updated with pictures. We enjoyed working with her and will be booking with her again.”
“Sweetest couple to keep our fur baby for the night. Teresa sends great pictures and keeps you updated about how your pet is doing. So glad I found them to watch our Jaxx!”

About: I have taken care of many different animals since I was 11 years. I regularly work with many different breeds and have learned how to read their behaviors toward other dogs and people. I also have experience giving medications to pets if needed. I am currently available to petsit at anytime from 11am - 9pm. I just require at least a day ahead in order to see if I can fit the stay in my schedule. I am willing to care for your fur babies in your home as needed. I will be very respectful of your space and take lots of care with each individual pet.
“Cosmo seemed to have the best time with Guybrielle and her family! He was exhausted when he came home which tells me he played, and played, and played some more! I look forward to booking in the future.”

“She took excellent care of my dog. She also did a great job administering twice daily flushing/drop regimen for an ear infection we found just days before our trip.”

“Kenya took care of our Milo for 9 days while we were out of the country. And she was so awesome with him. She often sent us updates and pictures in regards to Milo while we were so far away. I really appreciated that so much! We will certainly book Kenya again! I wish I could give her more than 5-stars.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in LA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
