About: I have had pets my whole life. I have experience with dogs from English mastiffs, to chihuahuas. I love cats, lizards, birds, literally all animals. I work/live on Beale AFB. I am very flexible. If you live on base I can go to your home on my lunch for a quick visit. Like I said I am an animal lover. I came on here after seeing how hard of a time some of our military members were having finding someone to take care of their furry friends. There are so many stressors associated within life that finding someone to genuinely care for your furry family members while away on vacation, TDY, visiting family- that should not have to be one.

About: I have had a variety of animals always in my life. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and rodents. (All of which I've had at some point) I have also worked for a rescue charity for 7+ years which resulted in having learned basic and emergency care, as well as administration of medication. I am retired and looking to fill my time with love and cuddles. I have always enjoyed caring for the variety of animals I have and have had. I love learning all the cute special quirks and loves of every animal I interact with. I am very respectful of other people's space and items - my focus is on the animals in my charge. I can feed, walk, play and generally be a companion to any animal. I also respect the home and treat it even better than my own, ensuring that I leave the home as I found it.

About: People often say I have a way with animals. They always seem drawn to me immediately, even when they are wary of others. I feel honored that animals feel this way about me because I feel the same about them! I have cared for many dogs of all sizes as well as owned cats. I have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand that has many disabled dogs as well as fostered cats/kittens here at home. I have a big fenced yard with both grass and forest to run and play. I don’t have multiple dogs staying with me at one time ( unless discussed in advance) so your baby will get all the attention. Although I will never replace you, I can provide love and safety until you return (and probably some treats and adventures too!) I'm currently not working and can dedicate my time to pet/house sitting and care. As you can see from my photo gallery, I love all animals and have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand, fostered kittens at home, and have seen very cool animals in the wild and at animal rescues/sanctuaries around the world. (I always vet them to make sure they are ethical and doing legit work) I have a large fenced yard and indoor space for cats or dogs. We have plenty of shade and are also willing to take pets with us on outings. I live with my husband and son and they also love and respect animals. As far as caring for pets at someone else's home, I can stay at your house or check in as often as needed. I will play with them, feed them, bathe them, take them places (if requested) and give them love. I know they miss their people and its not the same without you, but I do my best to make them feel safe and comfortable.

About: I've had the pleasure of loving and taking care of furbabies of all sizes for 20 years. I first started pet sitting for an acquaintance in 2005. Later, when I became established in the area as a trusted house cleaner, I started pet sitting for some of my clients and their friends. Sadly, I lost all my clients and contacts save one in the Camp Fire as my client base was in Paradise and Magalia. Since then, I have taken care of my own little furbabies and ever so often cared for the Chihuahua/Pug/Terrier mix of the one remaining client from Paradise. Within the years that I was actively pet sitting, I took care of dogs of all sizes from Chihuahuas to Whippets. I am excited to once again assist you with your pet sitting needs and ensure the best attention is given to your dog’s health, happiness, and well-being! For my clients in Paradise and Magalia, I did both drop-ins and overnight stays. (My favorite memory was staying with two little lovely Dachsies for three weeks!) I made sure each pet I took care of was fed as per the instructions given to me and that they had access to fresh, clean water. Whether it’s maintaining a regular meal routine or making sure your pet stays hydrated throughout the day, I prioritize comfort and health for all furbabies in my care. I also have experience administering medications, whether oral or topical, and am dedicated to ensuring your pets specific medical needs are met with precision and care. I know personally the importance of a vet's instructions and the proper maintenance of a consistent medication routine. I also know the importance of exercise in keeping a pet happy and healthy. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a more vigorous activity, I am happy to ensure that your pet gets the exercise and playtime they need! Above all, each dog that I have taken care of I have treated as part of my family. I look forward to providing your furbaby with the same love, attention, and care that I have given to my past clients and to my own pets! My schedule has changed and is more open during the work week. I currently have a day job between the hours of 12:30PM and 2:30PM, Monday through Friday. My hours can be flexible with this day job. I am available early morning and some evenings during the work week. My schedule changes, on occasion, in the evenings Monday through Friday. My weekends are fully free and am available for pet sitting, dog walking and drop-ins all day on Saturday and Sunday. For any pet in my care, whether it has been a client's pet or my own, I have always ensured that they have gotten plenty of love and quality care. For past clients, I adhered to all instructions given pertaining to feeding time, exercise and medications if applicable. I made sure there were plenty of cuddles and that every pet in my care felt safe and secure.

About: We are a family full of love for pets! My Husband has volunteered at Sammies Friends walking dogs, and at home we have three indoor-outdoor cats, and a Chihuahua named Bella who’s 10 (my Daughter’s). We had to put down our 14-year-old chocolate lab named Yotis a few years ago, and was my Husband’s best friend! My Son’s 12 year old German Shepard Zani passed a couple years ago as well, and she was the best dog addition to this family. We have always had dogs and cats in the home, and all are friends with each other and they each have unique personalities! We have a dog park nearby as well! The oldest cat I have had was a tabby named Chica, and got her at 8 weeks old when I was 16, and she was 15 when she passed!!! Our pets are our fur family and we love them all!!! Kids are all grown up now, and my Husband is gone a lot as a Fire Captain, so I am more than willing and available to housesit dogs and/or cats in your home. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and pets. My Husband works 3 days on, 4 days off and likes to help with your pets as well. He is a Dog Whisperer, and I am the Cat Lady! We love taking nature walks, and have both been on Rover since before COVID in 2019. I am available at any time due to my kids being older now, amd we don’t currently have a dog of our own. I love getting out of the house and exploring new neighborhoods and areas especially during Spring and summer. We have resided in Nevada County for decades! We don’t dog board due to having too many household members and pets already, but in your home they are taken care of exactly how they should be. With compassion and love.

About: I have an understanding of dog psychology and act calm under pressure. Previously, I was the dog trainer at Petsmart for a year and a half. I love dogs very much and care for their success! My main concern is the dog's health, which is why walking them is extremely important. Giving dog's additional exercise other than playing in the back yard is key to releasing their excess energy. Walks also provide new areas to explore which will give them an opportunity to use their smellers and analyze the world. You will be surprised at how tuckered out they become! If you wanted to have your dog work on socialization and make new dog friends, I am more than willing to help your fur baby improve in this area. I am available Tuesday through Saturday mornings for a walk. There is a possibility of opening a window of availability in the afternoons. Let’s talk! I would be most comfortable caring for your dogs in your home. Their environment is key to easing the stress of your absence in their daily routine.

About: I have extensive professional experience caring for dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals. I recently reactivated my Rover profile to expand my network since relocating! I’m skilled and intuitive about animal emotional and physical needs and have many references to offer. In addition to professional animal care, I took care of my beloved special needs cat Tails until he passed away at a very elderly age in 2023. My experience includes caring for senior animals and animals that require special care and/or medication. I have some light experience caring for farm animals (sheep, chickens) and would be comfortable learning more. In my other work, I teach kids, make music, and for many years was a medical caregiver to adult humans. Please contact me to arrange the timing of the care your pet needs. We will discuss your needs and schedule and work it out precisely. My schedule is different at different times of the year because of the nature of my other work as a musician and independent music lessons teacher. Regardless, I do about 60% of my work from home, online - and so when I housesit and stay overnight with your animals, I am able to be there for them the majority of the time and accommodate lots of walks, medication times, and whatever else you may need me to take care of for them during the day. I only offer care for pets in your home, and unfortunately cannot board animals in my own home at this time. I take the utmost care and caution while being a temporary companion for your animals. I require that all of the families I pet sit for leave adequate emergency contact information, such as vet info and emergency contact info if you will be out of cell phone range. A NOTE ABOUT BIG DOGS: Lately I have been getting a lot of requests for big dog care, which I absolutely love! However, please note that I am a 5’3” lady and therefore best suited to care for big dogs with a fair bit of training under their belts. I unfortunately cannot accommodate big dogs who are frequent jumpers. If you know this is true of your dog, I’m not the best fit. I also, unfortunately, cannot accommodate sleeping in the same room as big dogs or sleeping with them in the bed. Even though I love them! I’m just a light sleeper. Thanks for understanding. 90% of my big dog bookings are a perfect fit.

About: In our humble abode, your pet will find themselves entranced with our enticing love and care. Each pet is treated with the utmost respect, along with fun toys and plenty of walks. My son, who is currently in college studying to become a veterinarian, will be readily available to assist at home. Concurrent with his schooling, Alex is licensed in Pet CPR and First Aid. If necessary, we both are experienced with administering medicine to different kinds of animals. Throughout my life, I gained experience handling cats, dogs, rabbits, reptiles, and farm animals. Our Current Residents; are a rambunctious, fun-loving, ready-to-play, five-year-old Sheprador (Dio), and 4 welcoming cats (Misty, Chestnut, Buttercup, Milkshake). For the safety of all animals in our wild kingdom, all animals must be up to date on their shots and are non-aggressive toward other pets. Unneutered males are welcome, however, we do not accept females in heat. Our schedules are very flexible, although we do request a one-day notice of cancellation. Due to Covid, I am currently working at home, which allows me to have plenty of time to cater to your pet's various wants and needs. We adhere to Covid guidelines for the safety of ourselves and future clients. We will have plenty of time to play with and take care of your pups! Both of us will be readily available for boarding, doggy daycare, walks, drop-in visits, and housesitting on weekends and weekdays. For drop-in visits, housesitting, and walks we are willing to watch, care for, and walk any pet including reptiles, amphibians, fish, etc. Any medication that the pet requires can be administered during any visit. In our home, pets are treated like royalty. Whether it is for attention and play, or food and water, all needs will be met with a smile. We have a fenced-in backyard with plenty of room to romp or do zoomies. Upon guests' approval, we may take dogs on a walk to our neighborhood park. Specific needs, such as medicine must be provided and specified in detail. All our animals are current on their shots and we require our guest animals to be as well. We adhere to Covid guidelines and have both received our Covid flu shots. We respectfully request upon meeting for our guests to wear a mask upon arrival. We do not have accommodations for females in heat or aggressive animals. For dog walking and drop-in visits, we are available any day of the week. However, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, we will not be available from 1pm-5pm. The time on Tuesday may vary depending on Alex's school schedule. We plan to meet and exceed all the needs of the pet, which includes necessities, plenty of playtime, and walks. For housesitting, we can also water plants and bring in mail, if need be.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a child all the way from administration of medicine to birthing animals on a farm to just feeding and walking and loving on animals. I have had experience with puppies all the way to seniors. I have also helped train animals on and off. I would love to have the chance to be your fur babies next best friend. I am free almost always as I work from home. I work from home and I am free almost always and always can make time for animals. I am free mornings all the way to evenings. I live on a farm in a fenced in yard. My sheep are separated from the other animals but do well around the sheep but I would keep clients animals away. One dog is an outside dog but comes in and one is a full time inside dog. She sleeps with me and loves to go on car rides and both are friendly animals. I have cats who live on the farm but they do there on thing and get along well with other animals. I can follow instructions well if you have a certain way you would like things done.

I love animals and giving them attention because I know it is so important. I work from home so I love reasons to get out of the house and pet friends to keep me company at night. I work and stay 100% near the outskirts of Yuba City. My pets and their friends safety in #1 in my house and yard. I have a very large fenced in back yard and I have proofed it so not even very small dogs (like mine) can find a way out. About: It’s like camp for dogs! Your dog can have a great vacation too. We know how important it is to have the fury family taken care of in order to relax while on vacation. We have always had our own pets and we have taken care of other peoples furry family members for years, We have fostered for Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue for the last 25 years. If your pup is used to sleeping on a dog bed, or on the couch, or with people, they can do the same here with us. We won’t change the rules on them. We are well-versed in taking care of dogs with special needs or just simply providing TLC. When we have had fosters, we helped pups recover from surgery, given medications, adjusted pups to family life, trained and more. We just lost our sweet pup Cooper so we don’t have any pets at our house. This might be helpful if you have a dog that likes people all to themselves or if you have multiple dogs. Walks, car ride (wind in their hair) treats, playtime, attention, lounging in the fenced yard are all available. We both work at home so pups don’t have to be alone and can have all of their needs met. Reach out and tell us about your furry family and what they might need while you’re away. We only serve one Family at a time. We don’t have meet and greets while your dog is with us. It’s all about them when they are here. We follow your instructions for walk, food, routines. You can read our references but it might be best to come to the house to meet us and see for yourself. It’s important to feel comfortable so you can relax while you are away. We take extra measures to lock the latch on the gate and use a double door system if we go in and out of the house.

About: Since childhood, I grew up in a small village where there were many stray dogs and cats that I would always bring home. This is where my unconditional love for animals began. I have more than 10 years of experience with animals. To me, home is where your family and your little four-legged friend are. I don’t currently offer boarding since one of my dogs is reactive. Your pets safety is my biggest priority!
