“Mariah was fantastic! Our nervous dog has a hard time when we leave and Mariah was so great with him! He was nervous at first but warmed up quickly and was happy to follow her everywhere. She sent regular updates, left the house in perfect condition, and even left a little “doggy report card” which was so nice to come home to. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Kaycee gave my fur baby so much love and was fantastic about walking him. Jax loved it and loves her—you can tell she loves fur babies! Kaycee is dependable, trustworthy and kept me updated with cute pictures of Jax on his walks and at home. I was always excited to check my phone. Thank you, Kaycee and I’ll definitely use you again! Jax misses you already😊😊😊”

“This was my first time using rover and it was a great first experience. Zoe kept good care of my fur babies and sent lots of pictures that helps me stay at ease. She stayed at my house for days and it was in the same condition as when I left. Very thankful for her and will be using her services again!”

“We had such a great experience with Deena! She was incredibly kind, professional, and clearly loves animals. She was happy to meet our dogs beforehand, which really put our minds at ease. About: I’ve cared for my family pets my whole life and started pet sitting in high school for neighbors with both dogs and cats. I now have two dogs of my own and treat every animal with love, patience, and care. I currently work part-time and am available Sunday through Wednesday. I’m in college, so mornings and afternoons work best for me to care for your pets. I take care to follow each pet’s routine closely to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I’m respectful of your home and will ensure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away.

“This was my first time using Rover. I am super protective of my furbabies, and I've only trusted 2 people to watch them if I go out of town. From the start, Lauren made me feel comfortable about giving this a try! She was very responsive to my inquiry and questions. Her reviews speak for themselves. Lauren also arranged a meet and greet! I loved this, and it is great to see how she interacted with my pups. My youngest dog is very shy and skidding with new people, but Lauren was patient and took her time letting Phoebe to get to know her. I was gone for 3 nights, and I had Lauren stay overnight as well as often through the day. She sent me pictures and updates every day, so I felt at ease! I came home to a clean home, nothing out of place, and very happy doggies! I will definitely book with Lauren again ☺️”

“Anna was very flexible and took great care of my dogs while I was away. She communicated well and gave me updates until I was home. My dogs were all comfortable with her immediately and my house was well taken care of.”

“Christine was able to house sit for us and the three pups enjoyed her company all weekend. We really appreciated her flexibility to stay the hours we needed for our little trip.”

About: I’ve taken care of my relatives dogs and cats, while they are on vacation or occupied. I am most familiar with big dogs but I have experience with all types of dogs and cats. I have two dogs in my family, that I love to spend time with and care for. I’m home from my college Grand Valley State University currently, and have some spare time. Since I love dogs and animals in general so much, I would love to work with them while earning some money for school! I have a partially fenced in back yard for one German Shorthair Pointer(Dalton) and a year old golden retriever(Kirby). My family takes them on frequent walks, and feeds them with mostly cooked meals. They have lots of play time, and lots of snuggle time.

About: Ever since I was a teenager, family, friends, and neighbors have relied on my to pet-sit and play with dogs of all sizes and ages. Similar to my approach with cats, I introduce myself with confidence, caution, and respect while paying attention to the dog's body language. I've had the pleasure of meeting many dogs ranging from energetic ones that pull hard when walking, to low-energy dogs that either want light play or may have chronic pain. Whatever the case is, I'm quick to learn how to befriend them! I'm a recent graduate with a Computer Science degree, looking for full-time software work. The job search has been very slow to yield results, so I have very open availability while I search. As long as I'm not already booked on a given day, I'm open on any day of the week and at any time (including evenings). Unfortunately due to the pickiness of my two cats, Charlie and Pim, I'm unable to have any pets brought to my home. Regarding caring for pets at a client's home, I'm open to visits lasting many hours, or making multiple visits in a day. I have plenty of experience with cats and dogs, and can care for other mammals (I have minimal experience with reptiles and birds). As long as I have detailed notes on your pet's routine and special care instructions, I'll work diligently to ensure their daily routine sees minimal disruption while you're gone!

“Kelsey watched our 2 cats while we were out of town for a few days. She sent tons of updates with photos/videos throughout the stay. We came home to a very clean house and happy kitties! Will definitely book again!!”

“Ashley was fantastic! Her care and knowledge made us feel so comfortable. Cooper loved his photo shoots, all the belly rubs and snuggles. Would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a caring pet sitter. Will definitely use her again in the future!”

About: Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adult hood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding about all different types of dogs. My experience in pet care comes from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and my current position as a vet tech assistant. I work part time as well as being a student so my availability varies week to week. However, my schedule has never interfered with any past dog sitting obligations. I can provide safe and loving visits during the day for playtime, a walk or just coming to hangout with your fur baby. I will make sure your pet stays happy and healthy whenever i'm around!

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Growing up my family had loving but sassy golden retriever, she was so nurturing and maternal we nicknamed her Nanny Girl. She always groomed and watched over us kids but also our cats lol! I then was blessed to spend 12 wonderfully sweet years with my black lab. He was such a spunky, funny pup and grew into the sweetest, most gentle little old man. I miss him terribly, but I am not quite ready to get another dog. I frequently dog/cat sit for family and friends and I still have boxes of toys left for your pup to play with. I remember the stress and worry of leaving your fur baby behind and in the care of someone else when going on vacation. I can promise you that I will love and spoil your fur baby as if they were my own. I work from home full time so I will be with your dog all day (with the exception of a possible quick errand). I can accommodate any needs that your dog has. If they are high energy I am very familiar with lots of parks, trails and dog parks in the area to run and play and get all that energy out. If they have slowed down a bit I have a comfy couch and lots of blankets to snuggle up with and toys to play at their pace with. I work remotely, so I am able to be with your pet all day. We can go out for walks frequently or if medication needs to be administered throughout the day I am available to do that. I am very clean and am overly cautious when taking pups outside. I always make sure they are on their leash securely and stay alert for things going on around us.

About: As far back as I can remember I have always had a fondness for dogs. This love and obsession has pushed me to pursue a career in the canine world, and now I currently manage a dog daycare/hotel franchise as my day job. But even when I’m not there, I am always with a dog. Whether it is my own, a friends, or a family member, I keep the best and the furriest of company! I am familiar with many types of breeds and personally prefer the big and fluffy, or even the more intimidating looking pups. But big or small I love them all and I believe earning a dogs trust is more valuable than gold! I do work full time during the week but I am available anytime after 2:00 Monday through Friday. I have open availability on the weekends If your dog has a set routine I can accommodate their needs however necessary. I also have my own pup that I can bring along to give yours a friend! (With permission)

About: I’ve taken care of my dog Benji (a golden doodle) ever since he was a baby! I’ve always loved dogs but taking care of him and seeing him grow up has been the best experience. I’ve learned how dogs need to be nurtured and how to be more attentive and patient towards them. They just want love! I’m currently staring a new job and my schedule will be Monday-Friday: 6:00 a.m - 2:30 p.m with some weekend shifts if needed. I’m free after 2:30 p.m and can definitely work with you depending on my schedule and yours as well! Anything that you need me to do to keep your pet as safe as possible, i will happily do! Making sure your pet is taken care of and safe is my top priority.

“Nicole did an exceptional job watching our 2 senior dogs while we were gone for a week. She was extremely patient with our 16-year-old chihuahua who has dementia and is having trouble holding it for long. She was in regular communication with us, was thorough, and also took good care of our home. She was so lovely to work with, and even left a sweet card and treats for the pups when we got back. She definitely went above and beyond! We hope to continue working with Nicole in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of my brother’s dog Luna, a boxer, for months at a time and my old roommate had a cat. I’ve had experience feeding, walking, bathing etc. I currently work full-time but my job is hybrid so I can choose whenever I work from home / go into the office. My day to day is very flexible. I live in an apartment that has a dog park and I have many parks nearby. I’d prefer to go to the client’s home but my apartment is clean and safe and pet friendly!

About: Hi! I’m Alyssa and I have watched, walked, fed, etc. for several neighbors and friends in need. I would love to help care for your pets! I am available most weekdays to walk, feed, or check in at almost any time. I will be available to feed multiple times a day. I can be available as early as 5am. I have three dogs of my own that I care for everyday. I have also had experience with others dogs and cats. I am always reliable to send you updates if requested!

Aimen A.
“I am Aimen’s mom. From a very young age, Aimen has had a genuine love and respect for animals. Whether it’s a tiny insect or a pet dog or cat, Aimen approaches every animal with patience, gentleness, and an understanding of their needs. Aimen has rescued many animals and found them loving homes, including his brother’s cat, Socks. Aimen is one of the most responsible people I know. When he commits to caring for an animal, whether it’s his own pet or a family member or friend’s pet, he follows through with consistency and diligence. He goes above and beyond to make sure they are well-fed, exercised, and comforted. Aimen has two cats of his own, Pim and Charlie. He takes the role of ‘cat dad’ very seriously providing them with the best care and many forms of exercise and enrichment. His respect not only extends to animals but to the people he interacts with. Aimen treats everyone with kindness and consideration, making him an absolute pleasure to work with and trust. I wholeheartedly recommend Aimen to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and respectful person to look after their pets. He is truly exceptional in character and compassion.”

Brianne B.
“Brianne has watched our 5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog mix - Kota several times while we traveled. She is always on time, respectful of our home and the responsibilities of taking care of our dog while we are gone. Knowing that she is going to school to work with animals, gives us an even more sense of calm when we have to leave Kota for any length of time. In other words, Brianne is a reliable and respectful choice for watching out pet.”

Bonnie S.

“Bonnie watched our very energetic, 6 month old, puppy for 10 days last summer. She took such good care of her, walked her twice a day, played with her in the yard, snuggled - as much as you can with a puppy with those sharp teeth:) and basically was a great dog mom while we were gone. Bonnie is a very happy and kind person which carried over to her care of our puppy. I observed her being gentle but firm when interacting with our puppy as well as my daughter's dog and could see that she genuinely loves animals. Upon our return I could tell our puppy missed all the love and attention she was given. Bonnie spent a lot of time with our puppy and took great care of her. I would highly recommend her to be your dog's caregiver!”

Dominic P.
“My dog Rumble absolutely loves Dominic. Whether he is going for a walk, getting his nails trimmed or getting a bath, he just loves being with him. Dominic really cares for dogs and has the drive to do anything he can to help and take care of them.”

Adrianna L.
“As a person that treats her dogs like her *literal* children, I am VERY picky with who I let watch them. That’s why I’m so grateful to have found someone as reliable, loving, and responsible as Adrianna! She goes above and beyond to make sure my pups are not only safe but also happy and comfortable while I’m away. She sends regular updates, genuinely enjoys spending time with them, and treats them like her own. I always have total peace of mind knowing they’re in her care, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly to any fellow pet parent!!!”

Alyssa T.
“Alyssa is engaged with my personal dog who is a chihuahua/shihtzu mix, always going on walks with us. She has lived with larger breeds (boxer named Luna) and constantly expresses her love and admiration for dogs so much that she is looking to adopt one of her own this upcoming spring!”

Alyssa N.
“I have had Alyssa walk my dogs several times. She is reliable and keeps me updated throughout her visits. She is generally very flexible even with my last minute requests!”
Waldenburg pet parents share their Rover experiences
Meagan was a great sitter. Both my Dog (Luna) and my Cat (Merlin) seemed like they were well taken care of. Megan kept us updated with what was going on and also sent pictures, which we loved. It was nice seeing are fur babies while we were away. I would definitely use her again when the need arises.

Lauren is a great sitter! She is attentive to the dogs and to our home while we were away. You wouldn’t have known she was even in the house! The dogs were well taken care of and loved. Lauren is very easy going and communicated with us throughout her stay. We will definitely have her back, the pups have a new friend.
