About: I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, as well as cats and other small pets. I’m attentive, patient, and adaptable to each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether your pet enjoys walks, playtime, or simply companionship and cuddles, I’m dedicated to making sure they feel happy and comfortable. My patience and calm approach are especially helpful when caring for puppies who are still learning routines and senior dogs who may need extra support, gentleness, and attention. I work full-time during the week, which allows me to offer pet care services after 5 PM Monday through Thursday, along with open availability on weekends. I’m also available for overnight care and happy to accommodate special requests, including extended stays and flexible care arrangements whenever possible. I always prioritize safety and comfort while caring for animals. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure at all times. I supervise pets during walks, playtime, meals, and outdoor time. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions and routines, including feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and any household rules. I live in a clean, safe, and pet-friendly home where pets can feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for.
“Hayley has stayed with my dog in my home twice now and I highly recommend her. She is trustworthy and dependable and really goes above and beyond. If you want peace of mind that your pup is in good hands while you are away, definitely book with Hayley!”

About: I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life and grew up caring for various breeds, which taught me how to read canine body language and understand different personalities. Beyond a lifetime of personal pet ownership, I also have professional experience working for a local small pet-care business. Through that role, I provided high-quality drop-in cat and dog sitting, daily dog walking, and overnight housesitting. Whether your pet needs a high-energy walk, structured routine maintenance during an overnight stay, or just some dedicated playtime and companionship, I am committed to keeping them safe, happy, and comfortable while you are away! As a university student studying psychology and kinesiology, my schedule requires a bit of balance, but it also gives me great flexibility! I am fully available for pet care from Friday to Monday. Because my evenings are adaptable, I am also available for late-night check-ins. I manage my time strictly, ensuring that your pet's feeding, walking, and medication schedules are always met precisely and with plenty of dedicated attention. Safety is my absolute highest priority when caring for your animals. Having grown up with various breeds and worked professionally in pet care, I have a strict rule of keeping all dogs securely leashed whenever they are outside or on walks. I am also fully experienced with crate training and can comfortably crate your dog if that is part of their normal routine. My academic background makes me highly observant of behavior, so you can trust that I will maintain a calm, structured, and completely secure environment for your pet.
“Tom stayed with our two goldendoodles for a week in our home. Poppy and Ollie were very well cared for. Lots of walks and playing ball in yard. Tom sent a lots of pictures. Loved the ones with dogs laying with Tom and chilling. Highly recommend and will definitely call on him in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for both family members and other clients for free, providing dog walking/sitting services for dogs ranging from Yorkies to Great Danes. I’m a huge dog lover who is willing to do anything necessary to keep them entertained and loved, whether that’s walking them for a mile at 2 am or cuddling with them as I sleep. I truly value the connection between humans and dogs, and even those who are more unfriendly are able to warm up to me quite rapidly. I’m very flexible overall and would accommodate any client needs! As a recent college graduate, I’m currently a door dasher and searching for part-time jobs, so I have a lot of flexibility to take care of pets and commit to pet sitting or walking. I’m open to any hours of the day including overnight care if necessary. I love giving pets the freedom to have fun and explore while maintaining discipline and good behavior. I enjoy walking dogs regularly and keeping them healthy through consistent exercise, and I also love cuddling with any pet and making sure they’re never bored or lonely. I’m a firm believer that a pet should never be locked in the same room all day, so I love constant movement and attention. Another priority of mine is pet safety and security, ensuring they aren’t in a stressful environment that reduces their happiness.

“Keira is a great pet/house sitter. Followed my gazillion rules and my fur babies loved her!! Highly recommended and I will request her again for my next trip !! Thanks Keira!!!”

About: I'm pretty new to Rover, but I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and have experience with dogs, cats, hedgehogs, fish, and other small pets. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, including seniors, and have experience administering oral medications, handling emergencies, and providing daily exercise and enrichment. I’m happy to schedule a meet-and-greet before services to learn your pet’s routine and ensure they feel comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just hanging out, my goal is to keep your pet happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. Safety is always my top priority, and I treat every home with respect—often leaving it a little cleaner than I found it. I am working a part time job during the weekdays, usually the shifts are 11am-4 or 5pm, and on the weekends I work longer shifts which vary in time. However... I have many weeks off here and there so I am free a lot of the time. My job is pretty flexible most of the time so I can leave work to walk your pups and make sure they are okay and then go back to work. My yard has an Invisible Fence for my dogs which works out quite nicely and whenever I have other people's dogs over I make sure to keep them on a leash so no accidents happen. That being said, I live with my parents so I would be more geared towards servicing in home visits and stays with your pets at your home.
“Alexandra was fabulous! I don't think my dog knew the difference between her and me! I felt very comfortable with her in my house and with my sweet pup. She sent lots of pictures and texts. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend her!”

About: I've had pets of all types from Agway to Petco and beyond since I was 12 years old. My bond seems to be the strongest with dogs, but some say I have a gift with all animals. I recently cared for my best friend Salty for 16 years, and he would want me to share my lessons learned with other deserving pups! I work only part time, remote and in the office. My schedule is very flexible and I love to be outside in any weather. I am focused on dogs, but if you have some other unique friend, I'm willing to discuss options so not pet is left behind! I have a large garage pups love to run in, and I’m very close to 6 parks and the beaches, and do not have any other pets at this time. Salty, our Jack Russell Terrier left us on May 30, 2025. Although we miss him terribly, we learned a lot about dogs over the past 16 years with him!
Wakefield-Peacedale pet parents share their Rover experiences
We were so pleased to have Hayley take care of our Australian Shepherd, Sydney, during our recent 21 day overseas trip. She gave him all the love and attention that we could ask for - he has been well cared for… we think he misses her now that she’s gone! She communicated with us regularly, and sent many pictures, which eased any pangs of longing for our sweet dog while we were visiting family. When we returned, our home was in perfect order, and even supplied with a few essentials to make it easy to settle in, what a nice touch. We would highly recommend Hayley for any pet sitting, short or long term, and we look forward to working with her in the future.

Erika saved the special anniversary my wife and I had planned. Unfortunately, the dog sitter that was lined up cancelled and left us in a bind. Erika responded to our quest for another sitter and promptly arranged a meet and greet. She was very professional, maintained wonderful correspondence while we were away, plenty of pictures, and a happy dog who had bonded. She is highly recommended.
