“Alison took extra special care of my two older dogs while I was gone for 10 days. Both of my pups have some health issues. She gave them meds, kept track of symptoms, and was proactive in letting me know about changes and concerns. She is always responsive and detail-oriented, and she shows genuine care for the whole family. From our conversations, I also know that she cares deeply about her community. I really appreciated getting regular photos of my dogs' goofy faces, and having that reassurance that they were happy and getting along just fine. Oh, and A++ for also looking after my ducks and plants!”

About: I have owned dogs and cats all my life. There has never been a time I haven't had an animal living with me. Until now... I’m retired and get my dog fix from dog-sitting. I believe that there is no greater love than the love from a pet. I started dog sitting when I was between teaching jobs. I have retired from teaching elementary art. I live with my bf on about 1/4 acre. Fenced yard and security cameras. We are master gardeners and have about 1000 square feet of organic garden. About: I had a German Shepherd which I brought home as a puppy, she was so scared. I cuddled up on the floor with her that first night until we fell asleep. After that she seemed so much more relaxed and curious about her new home and family. I taught her lots of commands and tricks very quickly! So fun and exciting! I even learned how to make homemade pupcakes for her birthday every year! I work the same hours everyday and always have weekends off so my evenings and weekends are pretty free to spend lots of time with your pet. I like to get as much information about the pet in order the give the best care and for your pet to feel the most comfortable. Sticking to their routine is also important.

About: I have multiple years under my belt with various animals. Whether it be your 20 year old cockatiel or your 9 month old puppy, I can handle it all! With a dog and a cat at home, I am already set into the schedule that pets require. It is always my number one priority from when I wake to make sure that my fur babies are taken care of. I grew up on a farm, so from an early age I learned to deeply care for my pets. I am attentive to every need and understand that pet care quality is more than just feeding and potty breaks. It’s about enrichment and cuddles too! I’m here to make sure your pet feels taken care of while you’re away!
