Of course there was a bad Kona wind/rain storm brewing as we left for Honolulu but she was a champ and said I got this. Our dogs were stuck inside most of the time and she just simply loved them up and gave them so much attention they aren’t going to like us anymore! Will definitely use Dianne again…she’s great!”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve personally cared for dogs, cats, and small animals throughout my life, and my experience extends well beyond pet ownership. I hold a degree in biology with coursework focused on animal behavior, physiology, and research. This background helps me better understand animal body language, behavior, and individual needs. I’ve worked with a wide variety of species, including exotic hoofstock and birds in a zoological setting, as well as pigs, goats, and birds through wildlife rescue and animal care work. In addition, I spent approximately three years working in an animal shelter environment, where I handled and photographed thousands of dogs to help them find loving homes. Through that experience, I learned how to safely interact with dogs of all sizes, ages, temperaments, and energy levels. Whether your pet is outgoing, shy, energetic, a senior, or requires a little extra patience, I strive to provide attentive, reliable care tailored to their individual personality and routine. I’m a small business owner and public school teacher, which gives me a structured but flexible schedule that works well for pet care. I currently have more availability during weekends, school holidays, and breaks (especially during the summer months), when I can offer extended and consistent care for pets and house sitting. During the school year on regular weekdays, I’m typically available in the mornings and evenings, with greater flexibility on weekends. I’m happy to discuss specific dates and needs to see what works best for your pet’s routine. I care deeply about consistency and communication, so pets feel settled, safe, and well cared for, and owners can have peace of mind while they’re away. I provide pet care in my clients’ homes, where I focus on maintaining each pet’s normal routine in the environment where they feel most comfortable. I follow all care instructions closely and make sure feeding, walks, medication, and daily routines are completed on time and as directed. I treat every home with a high level of respect and care, keeping spaces clean, organized, and exactly as I found them. I’m mindful of both the pet’s needs and the owner’s home, and I prioritize reliability, safety, and consistency in every visit or stay. I also believe clear communication is essential, so I provide updates as needed to give owners peace of mind while they’re away.

About: I have over 10 years experience taking care of pets! From dogsitting, dog transport, and working at a doggy daycare I have been well trained by dogs of all sizes, breeeds and behaviors. I love all animals, but especially dogs. Your dog will be loved, closely watched and well taken care of.
