“Thanks for last minute booking accommodations! Happier dog than if he was boarded for sure, lol. I know he's a handful, but just a big baby who wants attention. That’s why i love Rover.”

“Brittany has been great with my pups. I felt super comf with them staying with her and her family. It helps a lot that she has her pup with her, who's super extroverted and helped get my younger dog out of his shell. I strongly recommend her! I'm just bummed that she's moving away from me 😞”

“We were so pleased with Lane watching Roscoe. Roscoe seemed in good spirits when we picked him up. Lane would send us photos which made us feel good. We recommend Lane wholeheartedly. Ray & Jean”

“My doggies had a good time here and Morgan brought them home for me and put them safely in the house so they could be there when I got home from my trip. Morgan also stayed in contact with me and let me know how they were doing. It means a lot to me not having to worry about my dogs when I’m away. I would definitely recommend!”

“Tara was amazing with Adidas. Adidas was vey happy there and played with Nana and thy became good friends. Tara kept me updated several times a day with pics. I was very nervous never leaving adidas with anyone but family but Tara put my mind at ease. Thank u. Jeff”

“Lawrence and Gabby really put me at ease leaving my pup behind for a week. She is in her adolescent phase which made it difficult for me to leave her with small dogs she doesn't know and Lawrence came through! We did a meet and greet first and everything turned out so awesome! Thanks again Lawrence and Gabby!”

“I was so grateful for Samantha and Tim! They kept Remy on such short notice and made my first rover experience absolutely amazing! They sent daily updates that made me feel at ease! Will definitely be using them again!”

“Victoria has such a beautiful home. She also is a very warm and kind person. Our dog instantly took to her. We scheduled a sleepover so our dog can get to know her and her dog better before our big trip in a few weeks. It was a great experience. We picked up our dog and she was just so happy. When we left our dog at a kennel before this she did not look well when we picked her up. This was a total different experience, she had a lot of fun and was well taken care of. Victoria was great at sending me updates and a video. I think my dog misses her and her dog lol!!! I'm definitely going to feel better when I leave her for a week knowing she's in good hands. Thank you Victoria”

“Red always get so much attention at Poppy and Pals. They go out of their way to make sure his stay is as much like home as possible! Chelsea always makes sure I get daily updates and pictures! I recommend them 💯!! We have used them multiple times”

“Heather was amazing!! The dogs had SO much fun and she gave us constant updates. We just moved to town and it made us a little nervous to leave the dogs with someone new. But she gave us so much peace knowing that our doge were in good hands. She truly loves and cares for all of the animals she watches”

“Shelly is/was a life saver! My plans changed several times and in the chaos of it all I forgot to confirm the booking.... but Shelly was accommodating and helped put my mind at ease. My dogs are pretty easy going, however I do have one that has seizures sometimes. I felt completely confident in Shelly's ability to handle one if it happened. Keeping Kennedy (my dog) calm helps keep her from having seizures. Shelly's home is warm, calm and comfortable. It was a perfect stay! I will definitely be using her again.”
“Tammera was absolutely wonderful! She was so kind, responsive, and always quick to answer. She kept me updated with pictures and made sure my fur baby was happy and well taken care of. She even brushed him, which was such a sweet extra touch! Tammera is a lovely woman and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter. 🐾❤️…Att, Angel & Pritesh.”

About: I have spent my entire adult life with dogs & love them dearly. My 2 dogs love to play with other dogs as well as each other. I also have an older blind toy poodle who doesn’t play with other animals but is perfectly content staying on my sofa & listening to whatever is going on in the house. Therefore, I’m quite accustomed to care for special needs dogs. All dogs seem to communicate very well with me. I also keep the owners up to date daily with pictures and/or videos as to how much fun their dogs are having. In addition, my son, who is just as crazy about dogs as I am, lives with me so at night, there will be 2 sitters in the house. Therefore, you’ll get 2 sitters for the price of one🤗 I am a retired stay at home widow who loves spending time with dogs. I can devote most my time having dogs in my home to love and care for. Typically, we use some of the afternoon for calming & resting time if/when needed. This is also the time for specific needs & brushing. The doggies can go outside anytime they want to play or do their business. I have a large fenced in back yard specifically for the care & safety of my dogs and the dogs I am caring for in my home. This is a very safe place for the fur babies to spend supervised time in the shade or sun with a large covered veranda with fresh water available at all times. I live on many acres of farm land with very few neighbors. We have no children living near us at all.

About: For me, pets are family, not just animals we care for! 🤍 As a dog mom to Scottie, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your fur babies. I’ll treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. Whether that means playing fetch, keeping them company, giving extra cuddles, or sending you cute updates while you’re away, I want you to feel at ease knowing your babies are in good hands. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and right at home! 🐶💕 I have a daily routine with my own dog, Scottie, and understand the importance of keeping pets on their regular schedules. I’m happy to fit pet care into my routine and provide feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention while their owners are away! 🐾 I offer my services at YOUR home. I feel it’s important to keep animals where they are comfortable and feel safe while you are away!🐾
“Zachary took great care of our boy while we were away. He sent us loads of video and pictures and that was the best part. I got to see my baby have play time with his dogs and I could see what a good time he was having. I will always board my door this way in the future. This is so much better than boarding with a kennel. I’m very happy with my boy’s care while we were away. Thank you Zachary!”

“Working with Megan was great overall. My dog had her own room and access to the backyard. Stella seem to get along well with Megan and her dogs. I was sent regular updates and lots of photos. I felt very reassured. The seller was getting the best treatment available. Thanks, Megan. Will be back for more.”

Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wagoner.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
