About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always had a huge love for animals. Over the years, I’ve cared for many different breeds and sizes, from Chihuahuas to Dobermans and everything in between. I’m a passionate animal lover and advocate, and I’ve also fostered dogs through rescues. Fostering has given me a special place in my heart for fearful, shy, anxious, and misunderstood dogs. I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and comfort level, and I believe in giving them patience, kindness, and time to feel safe. As a registered nurse, I’m comfortable administering medications and following specific care instructions. I’m also comfortable with bathing and basic grooming needs. Most importantly, I genuinely love being around dogs. I want every dog in my care to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their family is away. 🐾❤️ I’m a registered nurse and work 12-hour shifts, typically 2 days per week and every other weekend. On my weekends off, I have 5 days off in a row, which is when I’m available for boarding. My availability is therefore every other week, making me a great fit for families looking for care during weekend getaways, short trips, or extended weekends. I provide a safe, loving, home-based environment where dogs can feel comfortable and cared for while their families are away. I have a large fenced-in yard for supervised outdoor time and play, and I keep the number of boarding dogs limited so each dog receives plenty of individual attention. As a registered nurse, I’m attentive to changes in behavior and comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering medications, and responding appropriately if an unexpected situation arises. I also have experience and knowledge in canine CPR and emergency first aid. About: As a first responder, I’m very comfortable around K9s and understand the importance of patience, consistency, awareness, and responsible handling around animals. I also have two dogs of my own, Millie, a Vizsla, and Aksel, a German Shepherd. I’ve had Millie her entire life, and Aksel came to us as a rescue about a year ago. When we first brought Aksel home, he needed extra patience, structure, and training, and we’ve worked with him consistently to help him become the happy, well-tempered dog he is today. I genuinely love dogs and enjoy spending time with them, working with them, and helping them learn. I work as a first responder, so my schedule is different from a traditional Monday–Friday schedule. I have set days off that allow me to offer pet care, and I primarily schedule boarding on my days off so I can give your pet plenty of attention and supervision. I also offer dog walking and drop-in visits when my schedule allows. I keep my availability updated and am happy to communicate ahead of time to make sure your pet’s needs fit my schedule. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely get outside for exercise and play. I have two dogs of my own, a Vizsla and a German Shepherd, who are part of my household. Before boarding, I’m happy to discuss your dog’s temperament, comfort level, and how they do around other dogs. I can use indoor movable pet gates/kennels to safely separate dogs when needed, whether for feeding, rest, or simply giving them their own space. About: I have spent my entire adult life with dogs & love them dearly. My 2 dogs love to play with other dogs as well as each other. I also have an older blind toy poodle who doesn’t play with other animals but is perfectly content staying on my sofa & listening to whatever is going on in the house. Therefore, I’m quite accustomed to care for special needs dogs. All dogs seem to communicate very well with me. I also keep the owners up to date daily with pictures and/or videos as to how much fun their dogs are having. In addition, my son, who is just as crazy about dogs as I am, lives with me so at night, there will be 2 sitters in the house. Therefore, you’ll get 2 sitters for the price of one🤗 I am a retired stay at home widow who loves spending time with dogs. I can devote most my time having dogs in my home to love and care for. Typically, we use some of the afternoon for calming & resting time if/when needed. This is also the time for specific needs & brushing. The doggies can go outside anytime they want to play or do their business. I have a large fenced in back yard specifically for the care & safety of my dogs and the dogs I am caring for in my home. This is a very safe place for the fur babies to spend supervised time in the shade or sun with a large covered veranda with fresh water available at all times. I live on many acres of farm land with very few neighbors. We have no children living near us at all.
