About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life. Now that I’m older I’ve had plenty experience caring for them whether that be pet sitting for friends and family or in my line of work. Something that will set me apart from other sitters you may come across is my experience working at a kennel. This includes specifically working with service dogs, boarding pets, and k9 working. I’ve worked with a variety of dog breeds, ages and behaviors, meaning I can cater to whatever your pets needs :) Since I work as a kennel technician, being with and caring for animals is practically second nature to me. Being able to pet sit would be right up my alley and perfect for the experience I have. Your pet is 100% guaranteed to get the best care I can provide. To list a few this includes always having fresh water, appropriate exercise, meals according to their routine, cleaning up any messes, administering any medication and of course lots of attention. Pet behavior will also be monitored and you will receive ample updates on anything and everything going on with your fur baby.

About: I've been around animals my whole life and started informally pet sitting as a teenager — caring for animals has always felt second nature to me. I specialize in overnight and vacation care, and I'm especially comfortable with senior dogs. When I'm caring for your pets, I stick to their normal routine as closely as possible — meals, walks, medications, and downtime on their schedule, not mine. I send updates and photos throughout the stay so you always know how things are going. My goal is for your pets to feel calm, cared for, and completely at home while you're away. Pet care is my full-time focus, not a side gig fit around another job. Since I run my own pet care business, I have the flexibility to offer consistent daily visits, extended overnight stays, and last-minute care when life happens. I provide care exclusively in your home, so your pet stays in their own familiar environment with their regular routine, food, and surroundings — no unfamiliar pets, no added stress of a new space. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, medication, and exercise, and keep to their normal schedule as much as possible. I treat your home with the same care and respect I'd want for my own, including respecting any house rules around access, cameras, and specific areas of the home. You'll get updates and photos throughout each visit or stay so you always know how things are going.

About: As a fur mom to two, I know that it is a huge relief to find someone to love your pets the way that you would. Let me be that person! Along with taking care of my own dogs and multiple family pets, I also have previous experience working at a vet as a kennel tech. Want to include your pet in your wedding day? I can help with that too! I have five years of experience in the wedding industry and have helped manage pets during the ceremony and photos. Let me handle your furry family members while you enjoy your day! I currently work a remote job with a flexible schedule which allows for me to easily fit in drop in visits or walks throughout the day. I know that each pet requires their own form of love and attention. I will take the time to get to know your pet, what they like and don't like, and make sure that everything is handled while they are in my care. It is very important to me to build a bond with your pet so that you both feel comfortable.

About: For me, pets are family, not just animals we care for! 🤍 As a dog mom to Scottie, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your fur babies. I’ll treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. Whether that means playing fetch, keeping them company, giving extra cuddles, or sending you cute updates while you’re away, I want you to feel at ease knowing your babies are in good hands. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and right at home! 🐶💕 I have a daily routine with my own dog, Scottie, and understand the importance of keeping pets on their regular schedules. About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for family pets and about 7 years of hands on experience training and caring for my own dogs. I currently have a small Maltese/Yorkie mix and i understand that every dog has their own personality, energy level, and needs. I’m naturally fun and high functioning energy, so I’m comfortable keeping up with active dogs, but I’d say patience is one of my biggest strengths. Working in healthcare has taught me how important patience, attentiveness, and compassion are, and I bring that same approach when caring for animals. I work PRN(as needed) in healthcare, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to have plenty of time to give your pet the attention and care they deserve. My availability can vary week to week, but I’m able to plan my schedule around pet care and make sure your pet gets plenty of playtime, walks, and companionship. I live in a one-bedroom apartment with access to a dog park, a large open field directly in front of my complex, and several nearby walking trails. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and given plenty of opportunities for exercise and outdoor time. I’ll also follow any routines, feeding instructions, or special care preferences you provide so your pet feels as comfortable and safe as possible.

FAQs for Pet Sitting - Wagoner

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of November 2026, there are 825 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Wagoner. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.

Before booking, confirm:

  • the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
  • the care instructions the sitter should follow;
  • which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
  • how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.

Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wagoner. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
