“This was a great experience. She did a super job taking care of my 2 kitties! Nina sent plenty of updates, pictures and texts. Absolutely no hesitations booking her next time. Both house and kitties were well cared for while I was away. I definitely recommend her! ;)”

“This was my first time using Rover. Heather B. was amazing! She cared for my two cats for 7 days, 1x/day. The daily timing of visits was consistent with what was agreed upon. The photos and notes she posted were so complete and helpful that I really felt comfortable with my decision to use Rover, and especially picking Heather B. This experience has helped inspire me to travel more, knowing my kitties are in good hands!”

About: I have been taking care of my neighbors, family, friends, and my own dog/pets for 10 years including walks, feeding, watching, and helping train. I have experience with puppies and older dogs as well as injured or sick dogs. I am currently in a local college for health care. I am free all day Saturday-Monday and after 3 Tuesday-Friday. I have transportation and can drive a reasonable distance. I would follow any rules you have set for your dog (ex. food allowed, walking requirements, type of leash/collar for walks, and if they need to be crated or not) I would be able and willing to provide any medical care needed as long as I am shown how to correctly.

“Barbara was extremely great with my 2 cats. They usually aren’t friendly and like to hide but they warmed up to her! You can tell she really cares! I’ll definitely rebook for my next vacation!”

“Debbie was perfect for our two cats. She was always on time and cared for them very well. Super nice and clearly an animal lover. Very happy with her service. Would def recommend.”

“Bradley was the perfect pet sitter. He was communicative and responsive and treated my home with respect. He sent frequent updates and pictures of my cat. He even helped out when the cat went missing unexpectedly, offering to look for him and lending a cat carrier. I will be using Bradley again for sure and I recommend you use him for your pet needs too!”

“Reliable and responsible, that's Ren. We needed someone local to look after our two cats while away on a business ( on relatively short notice). Ren was super responsive and did a great job. Next step is to hook her up for dog walking with my dobie.”

“Sydney is the best! She is extremely helpful, professional and attentive to my dog's needs. She is always on time and thorough with her visits. Couldn't ask for a better sitter!”

“Pamela is punctual and conscientious. She took care of three of our pets (our dog traveled with us this time). One of the kitties needs medication two times per day and I could have set my watch to Pamela’s arrival to do that for us. We appreciated her taking that weight off our minds. Highly recommended!”

About: I have spent my whole life surrounded by cats. Once adulthood hit I knew I wanted to foster/adopt my own. I frequently cat sit for friends and family and have decided I should explore the option of being paid for it. I have flexible scheduling and am excited to start this new journey in life! I am able to do visits twice daily on weekdays and any time on weekends. Of course I do have a fairly flexible schedule and am able to work with you if more/less time is needed. My cats are all vaccinated/fixed/regularly vet checked inside cats. They receive both wet and dry food and plenty of play time throughout the day. Obviously, everyone has different routines with their animals and I would follow whatever instructions given.

“Ava was absolutely wonderful! Spent time with my fur babies , fed them their food and treats .So they really responded to her . She was timely and really conscious and thoughtful. I highly recommend Ava for your furry loved ones !”

“Great sitter! My dog is very timid and Daniel was very patient with her. He came for a drop in visit while I was at work for a longer shift. He took her outside, got her out of her cage after lots of prying, fed her, and kept her company! Will definitely be having him sit for her in the future (: thank you!”

“It was our cockatiel's first time being cared for by a sitter and Lynne did an amazing job providing us with updates and being attentive to our baby's needs. Our bird is normally very wary and mistrusting of strangers but she seemed already friendly with Lynne by the end of the week! I would trust Lynne to watch over her again”

About: I have previously worked at a cat shelter (approx 250-300 cats), I have been a cat owner consistently for 21 years, I have sat a “zoo” before ~ dogs, cats, birds, a frog, fish, etc. I love to spend quality time with pets, not just a quick 5 minute drop in. I will happily rub their belly on top of feeding them. I have never, ever met a cat that didn’t like me! Typically the complete opposite & they end up adoring me. 😅 I work full time during the day til 5:00 and am remote 3 days a week (mon, tues, fri), with a compressed workweek that makes it possible to have every other Friday off. M-F I could do an evening visit only, and on days off (every other Friday or weekends) I could do one visit in the morning & one in the evening. Thanks to summer hours at my FT job I am available after 1pm every Thursday through August 28th. My cats are spoiled ~ there’s 2 litter boxes, 2 wet food dishes, 2 areas with dry crunchy food, and a water fountain. They get Churu’s or treats every once in awhile. I keep the floors clean so they don’t find some random thing to chew on. So needless to say I would treat your cat like royalty pretty much. 😊

“We are so grateful for the amazing care Sarah gave to our two cats while we were away. She went above and beyond—leaving detailed notes after every visit, sending us tons of great pictures, and spending time playing and cuddling with them so we knew they were happy and comfortable. She also made sure our cat who needed daily medicine got it without any issue, which gave us such peace of mind. Both of our cats clearly loved having her around, and we’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

About: Hello! My name is Jackie, I’m a recent college grad from the Albany area. I love working with animals, I’ve been dog and cat sitting for neighbors for the last decade or so (drop in visits, feeding, walks, playing, etc.). Along with neighborhood work, I’ve been volunteering at German Shepherd Rescue of New York on and off for 8 years, where I met my boy Zeke! I also worked as a dog washer and doggy daycare worker as a summer job in high school, where I had the pleasure of meeting and working with so many pups. As of right now, I’m working Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays from 8AM-4PM, but I am more than willing to do pet care before or after my shift starts! All other days, my schedule is completely open. Because of my own dog, Zeke, I can’t keep any other animals at my house, but I’m more than happy to take care of them at your place! I always make sure that the animals I take care of are comfortable with me and feel safe around me, especially in their own space.

“Cara did an amazing job watching our dog Ava! She gave us such a peace of mind of knowing that we didn’t have to worry the weekend we were away because of how good of care she gives and how much our dog loves her!”

“I’ve known Amber most my life, so when I needed a cat-sitter for my three cats, bagel, pudding and banana, she was my first call. I had to travel out of state for a family emergency and she was able to help quickly. She ensured my cats were well cared for, fed, loved and even gave banana his diabetes medication as prescribed. She was so kind and understanding. Her love for my cats (and all animals) during this difficult time is what kept me coming back again and again.
