They are both high energy young dogs, one 7 months and one 13 months old and we were worried that they were going to be a problem. They love each other, romping like crazy with each other indoors and out and Samantha and Zach had no problem dealing with them. When we went to pick them up, it was obvious that both dogs really liked their caregivers. What more can one hope for in someone taking care of their dogs? She has a great, comfortable space for dogs, including a large fenced in yard. She has a friendly dog and was sure to introduce them slowly and safely. She made sure Louie was safe, even removing stuffed toys he might ingest. She takes the dogs for walks, including the dog park. She was a great communicator and even sent pics of the dogs playing. “We had a wonderful experience with Jennifer and couldn’t have felt better about leaving Moose and Maggie in her care. From our initial meet-and-greet through the entire stay, Jennifer was warm, attentive, communicative, and genuinely invested in making sure both dogs were happy and well cared for. Moose is a senior Great Pyrenees with some mobility limitations and additional care needs, and Jennifer went above and beyond for him. She was patient and compassionate, adapted walks and activities to what he was comfortably able to do, helped him when he needed assistance, stayed on top of his medications, and made sure he was comfortable and included. At the same time, she made sure Maggie received just as much individual attention and plenty of activity suited to her energy level. Jennifer sent frequent updates and so many wonderful photos throughout their stay, which we really appreciated. Her mom was also wonderful with the dogs, and it was clear that Moose and Maggie received so much attention and affection while they were there. Jennifer was also incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the stay, which made everything much easier for us. We’re extremely grateful for the care they received and would absolutely trust Jennifer with them again. I know Moose and Maggie will be very happy when they realize they’re headed back for another stay!”

About: I’ve had my own animals, both cats and dogs (mainly cats) since I was 6 years old. I’ve had to administer insulin before to my diabetic cat that has since passed. My experience with dogs are mainly of the bigger size (I had a pitbull/boxer mix and a pure bred chow chow). About: As a lifelong dog lover, I know just how special the bond between a person and their dog can be. About a year ago, I unexpectedly lost my own boy to a sudden heart condition. It broke my heart, and for a while, I couldn’t imagine opening my home to another dog of my own. I do, however, miss having dogs in my life—their personalities, their companionship, and all the joy they bring. That’s what led me to Rover! I’d love the opportunity to give your pup some extra love, attention, exercise, and companionship while you’re away. Your dog will be treated like family, with plenty of patience, affection, and care. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pup with someone else, and I’d be honored to be that person for you. 🐾❤️ I’m a bartender with a schedule that gives me plenty of flexibility during the weekdays. My days off are often spent getting outside for walks, runs, and enjoying some fresh air, so having a pup to join me would be the perfect addition to my routine! Because I work at a seasonal location, my availability will become even more flexible as the season winds down. About: I have 10+ years of experience with walking dogs, and years of experience in feeding, training, playing, and caring for both dogs and cats. My entire life I have always been drawn to animals, and am a huge animal lover! In my early teen years, I worked at a dog daycare where I oversaw the care of up to 14 dogs at one time. I am dedicated to keeping pet parents up to date on the wellbeing of your pets with photos, videos, up to date messages and anything else you’d like as a pet parent (I am happy to do facetime calls too!!). I will always be available and reachable when I am with your pet to answer any questions, concerns, or even just send over some extra photos if you are really missing your furry companion! Additionally, your pets wellbeing and safety is my top priority. I have worked hard to familiarize myself with signs of distress and discomfort in animals, and if anything doesn’t look right I will not hesitate to jump into action to make sure your pet is safe. My dog has had a few scary incidents, and as difficult as it was, it helped to prepare me to know the signs when something is not right and know what to do in case of an emergency. I decided to join rover because I wanted the opportunity to help take care and hangout with animals on a regular basis because it is truly something I absolutely love. I am hard working, enthusiastic, dedicated, and I will care for your pet as if it is my own. About: I’ve taken care of a sick dog and a rabbit for 3 years now on separate occasions when the families go on trips. I always make sure to play with the animals. I’m available pretty much all the time. I have a class from 11:00-11:50 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday that I have to attend and I babysit from 1:00-4:30 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but otherwise I am all yours (and your animals) I will make sure that everything is in place when I leave and I will keep the house clean! About: For a year, I walked my neighbor's Cavalier King Charles spaniel while she was recovering from a hip injury, until she could walk better. She and her daughter greatly appreciated my help and have said to me that their dog Cooper has been so much happier ever since he met me. I am a college student that goes to school 5 days a week from 7am to 2 pm. I can do early morning walks before 7am since I am a morning person, and I can do walks or come over after class. I am free on most weekends. I am free most of the time in the summer from June to August. I cannot bring pets into my home since I have two cats that are not very pet-friendly. But I can do all the care you need me to do at your house.
About: I’ve done overnight and day visits with dogs and cats for years and do multiple days during the week now for a family member. I work well with large and small dogs. I will always be able to committ to a minimum of one visit a day for all services, but may double check with you if your booked visit times are flexible, especially for multiple day bookings. I love taking photos of your pets! I often send lots of updates during walks and drop ins, from when I get there, to what we're doing, to one more before I go. I'm going to try to catch your pet in the middle of a yawn, or a meow, or a bark! They get lots of love while they're with Aunt Stacie, and special attention to details like extra water in their wet food and tracking general hydration levels, supervised outdoor times for cats with secured balcony privileges, PLENTY of scritches wherever they prefer (got an elevator butt cat? A pibbie that lives for scratches on their big melon head?), and equal amounts of love, as well as awareness and respect of their boundaries and body language. **Please be aware of and respect my service radius and availability windows. My lower sitting fees are a result of a smaller service area and limited availability due to a separate work schedule. If you need a walk, please book a walk and not a drop in. Drop ins are for fenced in private yards, cat visits, and other similar situations.** Thank you so much for your understanding!! I have a very flexible schedule and I am happy to commit to both long and short term care. Travel in the Guilderland and Colonie areas is not a problem. They are both high energy young dogs, one 7 months and one 13 months old and we were worried that they were going to be a problem. They love each other, romping like crazy with each other indoors and out and Samantha and Zach had no problem dealing with them. She made sure Louie was safe, even removing stuffed toys he might ingest. She takes the dogs for walks, including the dog park. She was a great communicator and even sent pics of the dogs playing. “We had a wonderful experience with Jennifer and couldn’t have felt better about leaving Moose and Maggie in her care. From our initial meet-and-greet through the entire stay, Jennifer was warm, attentive, communicative, and genuinely invested in making sure both dogs were happy and well cared for. Moose is a senior Great Pyrenees with some mobility limitations and additional care needs, and Jennifer went above and beyond for him. She was patient and compassionate, adapted walks and activities to what he was comfortably able to do, helped him when he needed assistance, stayed on top of his medications, and made sure he was comfortable and included. At the same time, she made sure Maggie received just as much individual attention and plenty of activity suited to her energy level. Jennifer sent frequent updates and so many wonderful photos throughout their stay, which we really appreciated. Her mom was also wonderful with the dogs, and it was clear that Moose and Maggie received so much attention and affection while they were there. Jennifer was also incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the stay, which made everything much easier for us. We’re extremely grateful for the care they received and would absolutely trust Jennifer with them again. I know Moose and Maggie will be very happy when they realize they’re headed back for another stay!”
