“Ashley was good with our cats and dog, and was always easy to reach! Her communication was great and she sent pictures, too. I will definitely book Ashley again. Thank you, Ashley!”
“Very professional, asked good questions when introducing her to the animals, and I felt comfortable letting her into my home. She especially took good care of my elderly cat who needs medications and extra attention. We will definitely request Caille again.”

“Samuel was proactive in learning all there is to know in taking care of Miko. He did an excellent job taking care of her evidenced by how she happy she looks in her picture updates. I’m grateful for his help and expertise. :)”

“Kristin checked in on our cat while we were on vacation. Usually he hides when we are gone, but he came out and greeted her on a few occasions. Kristin's communication was excellent and she took good care of our cat. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter!”

“Claudia is kind and was so patient with my cat. This was the first time leaving him for a long period and I felt at ease knowing he was under her care. She carefully followed my instructions and made sure to give him lots of play time. The cute pictures she sent were a huge plus :)”

“I got constant updates. Lindsey is so sweet and considerate. My dogs are used to being kenneled but they also can be left to roam and she would ask for preference each day. She took her own cleaning supplies.”

“Courtney did an amazing job taking care of our dog, Smores, while we were away in Austin. She was incredibly accommodating and took the appointment on short notice, which we truly appreciated. Courtney even came over the night before to meet Smores, which gave us peace of mind. Her communication throughout was excellent, and she came over twice to let Smores out as planned. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely call on her again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Hannah was great with my cat. He warmed up to her immediately and was great with him while I was gone. I was nervous since it was my first time leaving him overnight, and I was gone for over a week. But he did well under her care. And she went above and beyond by cleaning around his litter box, taking out the litter box's trash when needed, and more. If I need to go on vacation again, I'm glad to know I have someone I can rely on to look after him again.”

“Andrea was great with Jax. She checked in often and provided great feedback on her time with him and clarified everything to ensure his needs were met. I can tell he enjoyed his time with her and I will definitely be re-booking with Andrea in the future.”

About: I have always been an animal lover but I really started getting into taking care of animals in high school. My first job was at Country Friends Vet Clinic. During that time I got my CVA 1 certification(certified veterinary assistant) and I ended up working for them until I graduated high school(an amazing 2 1/2 years!). During my high school years I adopted two cockatiels named Ollie and Speckles. They became my bestest little friends. It was then that I realized I loved taking care of pets. My senior year of high school I also ended up adopting a Leopard Gecko I named Hikari! She loves watching top gun😂. I then moved out to college and got my Bachelor’s Degree while working as an Operating Room technician at Texas A&M Small Animal Hospital. I also recently(Nov. 2024) earned my RECOVER Basic Life Support Certification. It was in college that I got my first pup, Atreides. She was my soul dog and I loved her to bits. Three years later I adopted my Belgian Malinos, Azula, to give her a friend. I also found out that I love training dogs and so I spend most of my free time seeing what crazy things I can teach my pups! After Atreides passed, I adopted another German Shepherd in honor of her, a puppy named Ashoka. She is my little shadow and always makes sure I’m taken care of. All of this is to say I have tons of experience with high energy pups and I don’t forget the small animals! I also do exotics! I am a full time college student so during the school year I might have a little more limited of a schedule but if I’m free I’ll definitely be able to swing by to check on your fur babies! I will also have more time on weekends to care for your pets. Right now I have classes most weekdays however even if I have the day blocked off I might still be able to take care of your pups especially if you are wanting me to drop in at a later time. I am a big fan of always having something stimulating for your pet to do! Whether that is playing with toys, doing enrichment toys, or training basic obedience I like to make sure I am doing something exciting with your pet! With all that play I always remember to provide water in this Texas heat. While taking care of your fur babies I will feed, walk, play and clean up after them so you don’t have to worry when you are away! I also love exotics!(I have two cockatiels and a leopard gecko)
“Abby did an absolutely amazing job! She stopped by my apartment to make sure my dogs was eating, walked them for 15 mins and playing with them for 10 mins. She did an amazing job checking on my dogs. I will definitely be using her again for my future needs. Highly recommend!”

“Tom is great. He always does a great job and is super friendly. He has been a lifesaver for us. We were in a pinch and found out we needed to leave town and he was so accommodating and we truly appreciate him. Highly recommend.”

About: What sets me apart is a lifetime of genuine love and hands-on experience with dogs of all ages. While I may be young, I've been the primary caregiver for my own dogs for years, giving me a deep understanding of their unique needs. My experience includes raising my own dog, Peanut, from a puppy in 2020, so I am well-versed in the high energy, patience, and consistent routine that young dogs require. Furthermore, I care for my dog Butters, who joined our family in 2021, and have experience with the compassionate care elderly dogs need. This hands-on history includes administering daily oral medications, managing different canine personalities at the same time, and ensuring every dog feels individually loved and attended to. For over four years, I have been solely responsible for the reliable and trustworthy routine of feeding, walking, and caring for my dogs. You can have peace of mind knowing I will follow your instructions precisely and maintain your pet's normal schedule to minimize their stress while you're away. Ultimately, my goal is simple: to treat your furry family member with the same love and attention I give to my own beloved Peanut and Butters! My weekly schedule as a college student is actually perfect for pet care. I have no classes from Friday through Sunday, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I'm free from noon onward. Since I don't have a job, I can offer my full and undivided attention to any pet I care for. This means your pet would become my main focus. This flexibility allows me to provide excellent care. On weekends, I am completely free for long walks, adventure hikes, or just providing constant companionship through house-sitting. For pets that need afternoon care, my free time on Tuesdays and Thursdays is ideal for long visits, play sessions, or stopping by to break up their day. My main goal is to keep pets happy and comfortable by sticking to their normal routine. Since I stay in your home for overnight stays, I make sure your pet feels like they're on a fun staycation. I follow all your instructions for feeding, walks, and medication, and I’ll also take care of your home by bringing in mail and watering plants. My schedule is very open, so I can spend lots of quality time with your pet, giving them plenty of attention so they don’t get lonely. For shorter drop-in visits, I come by to let your dog out, play with them, or just keep them company for a little while. I always make sure they have fresh water and give you a quick update with a photo so you know they’re doing well. When I take dogs for walks, I focus on giving them good exercise and making sure they’re safe. I follow your preferred route and let them explore at a comfortable pace. After the walk, I’ll make sure they have water and are settled back in. No matter which service you choose, I’ll keep you updated with messages and pictures. My flexible schedule means I can give your pet my full attention, and I always treat your home and your furry friend with care and respect.
About: I have worked with furry friends as a licensed veterinary technician for almost 12 years now and have had my own pets for 18. I feel confident caring for dogs at any age and varying medical needs! I now work as a full-time collegiate minister but since my previous career was in veterinary medicine, I still look for ways to work with pets! My schedule varies from week to week allowing for much flexibility for pet sitting! I like to care for pets as closely to how the owner would care for their pet! This means is the owner would rather me stay overnight at their home, I am happy to do that. I often work remotely so can spend extended hours in the client’s home keeping their pets company, especially if their pets have separation anxiety.
About: Current dog mom, have had animals since I was young. Love meeting and getting to know new animals, all breeds, big or small. I train my own dog, and am learning new ways everyday. Also in school to become a veterinary technician! Currently in school with my own pup, but available for afternoon check-in, evening walks, or potty breaks at any point in the day for your little one. I train my own puppy, take her on daily walks and frequently visit the dog park. If able I would love for my puppy to meet new dogs. I love for dogs to have what they need and feel cared for.
“Brittney is amazing. She took such great care of my blind and deaf 17 year old chihuahua. I know there were likely a lot of accidents to clean up. She also gently guided her around my yard for additional potty breaks and some fresh air. I didn't have to stress at all on my vacation because twice a day I could look forward to reading about her visit and getting pictures of my fur babies. To my great surprise, she even befriended my cat, who is usually very scared of people and goes into hiding when someone new is over. But she let Brittney pet her and visit with her too! Thank you so much, I will definitely contact Brittney for my pet sitting needs in the future.”

“Our cats appeared well cared for by Jenny when we came back home from a recent trip. She kept us updated of her daily visits and shared pictures. Will surely look to Jenny for help when we travel out of town next!”

“Courtney is amazing! My boys are indoor/ outdoor and can be difficult to get back in at night. She goes to extra mile to stay or coordinate with my backup sitter to make sure they get back in safe! It’s so nice to be out of town and know they are in good hands!”

Vista Del Norte pet parents share their Rover experiences
Karen was amazing with my kitties. She always sent pictures of the food, water, and clean box along with pictures of the kitties playing and cuddling. One of my cats needed to be in an e-collar, and every picture of him that she sent showed him wearing the e-collar. Her detailed visit summaries were correct and accurate descriptions of the kitties’ personalities, showing she actually spent time with them and kept them company during her visits. I am so grateful she took great care of them during the holiday season. Thank you Karen!

Hannah was great with my cat. He warmed up to her immediately and was great with him while I was gone. I was nervous since it was my first time leaving him overnight, and I was gone for over a week. But he did well under her care. And she went above and beyond by cleaning around his litter box, taking out the litter box's trash when needed, and more. If I need to go on vacation again, I'm glad to know I have someone I can rely on to look after him again.

She's the best. Eva did drop ins with my boy Kasper. I'm transitioning from remote work to in person full time and needed someone to drop in to check on my baby while I was working. Eva is very professional, very kind, reasonable, accommodating, and she goes above and beyond. She gave Kasper the type of attention and affection I do and he was always so happy in the photos she'd send me.

Cierra always takes good care of our Nebby. She is trustworthy and dependable. Nebby has severe allergies and Cierra always is mindful of giving her her medicine and caring for all her needs in our absence. We are grateful to have someone who Nebby loves caring for her in our absence.
