“Christina was a great cat sitter for Slim Charles, sending detailed updates on her visits with him, spending time to keep him company while I was away, and also sending great pictures. I definitely intend to book Christina again the next time I’m in need of a pet sitter!”

“Natalie was so amazing with our two kitties! :) We are slightly anxious leaving our kitties when we need to go out of town, but she is both meticulous in taking care of their food etc. and very playful when it comes to getting their energy out and playing with them!”

About: My name is Megan and I currently live in San Francisco, CA. I would love to provide care for your dog. I am an experienced previous dog owner and experienced pet sitter. I am able to board, feed, walk, and any other necessary care. I am also open to taking care of any other pets you have (cats, fish, rabbits and bearded dragons are some of the pets that I have experience with caring for). Please feel free to contact me here or at the phone number provided if you are interested. Thank you! I teach at a school that is three blocks from my house from 9am-4:30pm, so I can come home for lunch break walks if needed. I can walk dogs before and after school and let the dog into my backyard garden at any time. On the weekends, I can take dogs to the beach or on other fun outdoor adventures! I have taken care of people’s’ pets in a number of ways. I have stopped by people’s’ houses for care, boarded pets, and stayed overnight in pets’ homes.

“I would use Regina for Trouble's care again if needed. Great notes and pictures each time Ragina visited Trouble. It took a little time for Trouble to make up to Regina, I'm surprised Trouble made up to Regina at all, way to go Regina! I asked Regina to visit on a day not on her schedule. That being April 5th, so I could "introduce" Trouble and Regina and show Regina the routines. I want to pay her the extra day of $25 plus a tip of $45. This to be added to the $200 already agreed on. Thanks so much. Russ Emery”

“Thomas was AMAZING! We needed someone on short notice after our primary cat sitter had a conflict with a few dates during our vacation. Thomas was responsive, prompt at showing up for a meet and greet, and immediately connected with our kitty, Sherman, taking detailed notes. During the stay, Thomas gave our kitty the attention he deserved. Not only that, he sent us lots of pictures and gave us detailed updates. It was awesome not having to worry about our kitty while thousands of miles away. We look forward to booking Thomas in the future!”

“Martin and Robert were great! They came on time and spent the entire half hour playing with our two pups, sent photo updates and let us know both pups did their business. Will absolutely reach out to them in the near future. Highly recommend!”

“Mick was a great drop in cat sitter. He was quick and responsive and always punctual. Our cats take a while to warm up to people so they didn't develop a close bond with Mick. However, the important thing is they were well fed and energetic when we came back from vacation.”

About: I’m an active dog lover with 15+ years of experience fostering and training dogs, including those with behavioral challenges. Growing up with big dogs and having one of my own now, I have a soft spot for them. But I’m comfortable with all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’ve cared for dogs that need medication, or have special needs as well. Overall, I’m patient, caring, and will follow your instructions to ensure you feel comfortable with your fur baby under my care, and that your pet feels safe and supported while you're away. For dog walks and drop-in visits, I'm available for anyone in the SF area. For house-sitting, you can ignore the availability radius on my profile. I'm happy to drive outside of the city to house & dog sit for you! Just note that my dog, Hop, will need to come with me. He is a dog that respects other pups’ boundaries, can chill on his place mat or crate or play with your dog if they want to. I’m comfortable enforcing a crate and rotate routine as well in case your dog is reactive, etc. so they never interact with each other. I am also Red Cross Dog & Cat CPR certified (see certificate in "photos") I recently was laid off, and so my schedule is very flexible! I have a dog of my own, so I’m happy to combine walks if your dog wants/needs company or a dog to look to for guidance, or we can keep everyone separate if there’s any reactivity or things we’re working through. I live right on the beach in the Outer Richmond, so Golden Gate Park and Ocean Beach are my backyard! I usually do a 1.5-2h walk or adventure with my dog daily, potty breaks every 3-4 hours, structured play time, and structured down time. In your home, I will follow all instructions you provide. I have experience in training - whether that be obedience or deeper behavioral (e.g. reactivity, fears, etc) I’m happy to help however I can.

About: Hey there! I’m an experienced pet sitter looking to get connected with folks in the Noe Valley/Mission/Bernal Heights district for all your pet care needs! It would be an honor and a privilege to care for your animals! I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and feel very comfortable with animals. Whether that be going on walks, house sitting or just popping by to check in, I’m your gal! My work days start early and end early! Giving me ample time for daytime check ins/walks for families/those working 9-5. I have a car as well so I’ll have no issues getting to work in the case one may need overnight pet sitting. My apartment isn’t set up for animals so I would be unable to provide boarding. My care approach is loving, firm yet gentle, and playful! But will of course meet any needs the clients may have. Looking forward to offering all the scratches and belly rubs!

About: I’ve grown up with all kinds of pets from rats to cats to spiders and one rehabbed squirrel. I am a huge animal lover and I’m the top choice when my friends ever need a pet sitter because I’m so in love with their pets and love to go above and beyond when taking care of them. That means you absolutely don’t need to worry about them getting enough attention and love because they will get LOADS I hav experience taking care of senior pets and special needs pets and I do my best to really establish a trusting relationship so they know when I’m around everything is going to be ok. It would be my pleasure to meet more lovely pet parents and help them out whenever they need! I hav a very chill job as a personal assistant so I have lots of availability. And my hobby is reading and writing so you get a very very chill person in your space that you can count on to be respectful and drama free I can offer a variety of pet care, I can do overnights or several hours and I can also do just a quick drop in if that’s all you need. I don’t have a car so unfortunately unless a uber is covered I can’t take them to the vet or things like that but I’m happy to spend my day at a nearby park or just read a nice book with them in your lovely home. Whatever works for you and of course you can just let me know whatever it is you need, it would be my pleasure to accommodate 🥰

About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal lover with several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Whether it’s an energetic pup that loves long walks, a senior dog who needs a slower pace and medication—I adapt my care to each pet’s unique needs. I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and in high school I would watch my neighbors dogs while they were away on vacation. You can count on me to be communicative, respectful, and caring every step of the way. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! I'm a dedicated pet lover who works from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide reliable drop-in visits and walks throughout the day. Whether your pet needs a midday potty break, playtime, or just some company while you're out, I’m here to make sure they’re happy and well cared for. Because I work remotely, my schedule is very adaptable—I can easily fit in morning, afternoon, or evening visits, and I’m always just a short drive away in case of any last-minute needs. I understand that each pet has their own routine and comfort level, and I’m great at adjusting to match their energy and personality. During drop-ins, I can feed, refresh water bowls, clean up messes, administer meds (if needed), and spend quality time with your pet. If your dog loves to stretch their legs, I’m happy to include a walk during my visit to keep them active and mentally stimulated. My goal is to be someone you can rely on, knowing your pet is getting care, love, and attention while you're away. I treat every pet like they’re my own—and I’d love to meet yours! Your pet’s safety is my top priority! With gentle care, close attention, and a calm presence, they’ll feel secure, loved, and totally at ease. My aim is to make every pet feel comfortable and safe.

“Megan grew up in a home where dogs were part of our family. We have had 3 different dogs in our home during Megan's lifetime and she has proven to be a loving owner, responsible caretaker and compassionate friend to each of them. Vista Del Monte pet parents share their Rover experiences
Petra took great care of our cat while we were away for a few days! She did a great job making sure our cat got her meds, and also gave her plenty of treats and pets. :) Petra was communicative and sent plenty of pics and videos during her visits. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for pet care, and will certainly reach out to her again in the future.

Andrew was awesome! He was very punctual, and made sure to leave super detailed visit notes with fun pictures and also specific updates on things I asked him to look out for during our walk through. Made me feel comfortable leaving him with my kitties, and they seemed very happy too!

Cecilia was wonderful with our dogs and really great at communicating and updating us with photos of the dogs during her visits. She went above and beyond in making sure the dogs got some energy out during their time with her, and we came home to happy dogs every evening. It was a huge relief to know our dogs were being well-taken care of throughout the weekend. I would definitely book with her again when in the area.
