“We have a long-haired Persian Himalayan cat who requires special care. This was our first time using a sitter and the Rover app, and we were very nervous since we were leaving for three weeks on the other side of the country. Erica was one of the first to respond to my message, and right away she put me at ease. I really appreciated her initiative to meet us and our cat beforehand. She was always punctual and friendly, carefully listened to all the details we shared, and followed the detailed instructions I had written about our cat’s habits and needs. Our cat is very timid but also affectionate and loving. It took Erica about five days to earn her trust. After that, she played with her, cleaned the litter box, refreshed the water, gave probiotics, brushed her fur, and wiped her eyes - everything was done with great care. At first, she checked in with us about some steps, but soon everything ran smoothly. Every visit included lots of photos, occasional videos, and a short description of how things went. We knew we had made the right choice leaving our cat in her care, and our little one was clearly content. We will definitely reach out to Erica again for our next vacation.”

About: My wife and I have fostered for San Antonio Pets Alive since 2021, are the first people our friends ask to watch their animals, and have 2 fur babies of our own. We’ve watched neonatal kittens, puppies, senior dogs, and about everything in between. We know what it’s like to need a safe place for your family member to stay while you’re away and want to offer our care for those who need it. We only book one animal / family at a time, so you can trust that when you leave your pet with us they will be getting our full care & attention. We both work hybrid jobs which allow us to be home with your pet almost the whole day, every day. This means that pets with higher exercise needs, behavioral concerns, medication schedules, and more can be safe with us! My wife and I both work hybrid jobs which allow us to be home whenever needed. We can provide potty breaks all through the day and supervision of your pet is guaranteed. We offer boarding in our own home and would be able to provide walks up to three times per day plus potty breaks in our backyard as much as needed.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always helped care for family pets, including feeding, walking, bathing, and giving them lots of attention and love. I’ve also pet sat for my cousin’s dog and cat, where I was responsible for their daily routines, walks, feeding, and making sure they felt comfortable while their owner was away. I’m very patient, attentive, and understand how important it is to follow a pet’s routine and make them feel safe in a new environment. I’m comfortable with different dog sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I always make sure pets get the care, exercise, and affection they need. I have a flexible schedule (work remotely) and can be available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting throughout the week. I’m especially available during afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I’m reliable, responsive, and happy to work with your pet’s specific routine and needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow owner instructions closely and make sure pets feel secure and cared for in their own home. I’m attentive on walks, aware of my surroundings, and experienced navigating busy NYC streets safely with dogs. I’ll treat your home and pet with the same care and respect as my own.
