Pet care experience
I love being with dogs! I’ve had a long history taking care of dogs (including our own 3-year-old Belgian Shepherd mix), but unfortunately am limited in what I can host in my own home, so becoming a walker and sitter for folks who want to keep their pup safe and sound in their own home was a very natural decision for me. I am currently a stay-at-home mom, which means that I have availability during the daytime and on weekends. My schedule is fairly flexible, so I’m happy to work with you on making sure that you and your pup’s needs are met at all times. I have the Rover app on my phone so that I can respond to any questions or concerns on the go. You’ll find that I’m very punctual with communication and responses. I require a meet-and-greet with the owner prior to bookings unless it is a last minute emergency. I just find that it is the best way to make sure that we are all a good fit for one another, and it gives me a great opportunity to ask questions about the stay. Generally, I will not see more than one animal at the same time unless they are the same family so that each pet gets my full attention every visit. I will take the time to ask owners about each pets care, quirks, and favorites. I want to make sure that you and your pup feel completely taken care of, so I love getting as much information as possible to make that happen! During a stay, I’ll be in constant communication with you. I’ll be sure to send you text and picture message updates whenever I am with your pooch so you can stay up to date on how they’re doing and what we’ve done during the day. I know how difficult it can be to be away from your best friend, so I’m here to make that time as easy as possible! In addition to providing tons of cuddles and love, I’ll make sure that we get a nice walk in or a game of fetch in at every stay.

Information Mandy B. would like to know about your pet
Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
A typical day would begin with letting your pup out for a bathroom break, followed by breakfast and some play time or a walk. A second visit at the end of the day (never more than 12 hours apart) would be similar...bathroom break, dinner and either a walk or play time. This, of course would be modified to meet your pup’s specific needs, including some time with their favorite activities. I’m happy to meet your pup at their energy level, whether that’s very active or slow and cuddly. I’d love to hear about the places of interest nearby so we can make sure to visit those as well.
