About: I’ve been an animal keeper for the last 3-4 years working with various exotic wildlife and am currently the Vet Tech/Keeper for (mostly) lemurs. I have great experience and knowledge working with animals (including domestic pets). I volunteered at my local animal shelter working with dogs and cats for many years, doing routine tasks such as feeding, cleaning, bathing, and walking. Apart from basic necessities like feeding and cleaning, I also have great experience preparing and administering medications and am confident in my abilities to handle exceptional dogs and cats that may need more complex care. Outside of my work experience, I have my own personal experience caring for my family pets, including dogs, cats, many rodents, and now chickens. Since high school I have frequently pet sat for friends and acquaintances with a wide range of pets including dogs, cats, lizards, fish, and horses. I am available in the mornings most weekdays, with lesser availability on the weekends. My availability can be flexible upon notice. On weekends right now, I am available only in the late afternoon and evenings. Am only looking to care for pets at the client’s house due to my own housing and pet situation. About: I’ve had/been around many different types of dogs my entire life. My family would always want me to come over and train/watch theirs animals for them like I was the go to person for anybody who got a new pet. I also use to volunteer at a boarding company to help feed/walk the dogs. I currently do doordash so I can pretty much fit any request in to my schedule. The most amount of time I would be away would probably be around 5-6 hours. I’m a dependable and caring pet sitter who treats every pet like my own. I know how important routines are, so I make sure pets are fed on time, get plenty of attention, and feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I’m patient, responsible, and good at picking up on what each pet needs, whether that’s playtime, walks, or just some extra cuddles. I also like to keep owners updated so they can relax knowing their pet is happy and well taken care of.
