About: I grew up with dogs (mostly German shepherds with the golden retriever or terrier thrown in there). My husband is not a dog person, but I love them so I'm hoping to be able to get my dog fix by helping people who find themselves away from their fur babies for extended periods. I will play with and love on your dog while they enjoy the comfort of being in a familiar environment. I will give your dog the same level of care that I would expect for my own child. My kids are getting more independent, leaving me with lots of time during the day to play with your pups! I am an avid runner and would love to give your fur babies lots of love and exercise. I am comfortable following the instructions you leave to the letter. I am calm and friendly, letting animals decide how they feel about me in their own time. One of my highest goals is to build trust with your dog and you.

About: Hi, my name is Sam. I am in the Albuquerque area and would be happy to help you with your pets. I have tons of experience with animals including volunteering for cat adoption days with PACA, rehoming abandoned animals, petsitting special needs animals, fostering, agility and show dog training, and behavioral training with dogs. I also have a passion for my fish hobby :) due to this app being a little odd with keeping a lot of our pay lets discuss on our own time a good solid plan ahead with your furry friend that way everyone is happy :) I am available in the afternoons up to the early evenings. However, I can make an exception for some early morning check-ins or walks. Just feel free to ask first! Because I work from home, I am more flexible when it comes to extended periods of pet-sitting as long as I have a quiet place to work. Whatever instructions and guidance I am given I am happy to respect and adhere to those rules when it comes to being in someone else's space or if they are coming to my house. In my own home, it is calm, quiet, with a gated area in the back patio with a garden. The animals are free to move about in the house. I do not have a backyard per se but the back patio is a decent size and secure for dogs to do their business and relax for a bit. I do not have animals of my own at the moment.

About: Since a kid I've been surrounded by dogs. I was taught young how to care for and interact with them. Since then I've always had pets and made sure they lived the best lives they possibly could. While I don't have any sort of specialized skills when it comes to pet care I do have plenty of experience. The majority of my adult life has been spent in the military and security industry. Giving me the required skills to provide a safe and secure environment for your fur child. I am currently working part time with a very open schedule. I'm free most days except from the times of 5pm to 8pm usually. Leaving me plenty of time to check on your pets. I have an enclosed yard with two dogs at home. One small and one big. Both very friendly and would love a trip with your pup to the nearby park.

About: I have past experience in administering medicine including insulin and pills, as well as cleaning litter boxes, picking up dog poop, and feeding bearded dragons. I'm a college student working at a restaurant, but I am available throughout the day between school and work, and at nights. Overall pet sitting fits into my schedule just as well as any average person. I have a cat in my home who is vaccinated and well cared for, so if a pet is coming to my home it must be OK around cats, my cat is also used to dogs and other animals, although I would prefer to watch animals at their house. I care for them by feeding them according to their schedule, always providing fresh water, and taking them on any necessary walks, or runs, and of course cleaning up the poop or puke that occurs.

About: Since the age of 6 I have taken care of many animals such as dogs, cats, ferrets, chickens, and goats. I also enjoy hiking and tons of exercise. I joined the app in hopes of gaining a friend to enjoy the scenery with. Due to having many different classes at different times of the day I get many breaks. Housesitting: I’m being hired to keep the critter(s) company, and that’s what I do. Nana comes to visit and keeping the house safe and the animal(s) safe and happy is my primary duty. My habit is to bring my own supplies, so when you get home, everything is how you left it. I have a ukulele and I sing familiar covers, so I’ll mention it now in case the neighbors mention something about it. (I have yet to have a dog howl as I sang, though the huskies were very talkative.) Drop-In: Depending on our discussion during the Meet & Greet, I will swing by your house according to the schedule we’ve set up. I will make sure the water is fresh and the food bowl has plenty of food. (My job is to make sure the animal(s) know they are being cared for and that they don’t have to stress about whether or not they will starve to death - I’m thinking of cats especially here who see the bottom of the food bowl and start to panic. Not on my watch!) Walk: I’ll be at your house at the time(s) we’ve discussed, put on the collar and leash, and set out on the adventure. My habit is to sing as I walk so that any other critter has a chance to get out of sight - a lesson learned by startling a skunk. It is important that I know if the neighborhood is friendly or if folks keep to themselves. Do(es) the dog(s) visit friends on the trail? or should I keep them on their own?
