About: Experienced caretaker and former nanny - I was employed full-time for my child care and pet care services. Working with both children and animals, I know the importance of keeping a good balance between maintaining a healthy schedule and ensuring there is still time for play, activities & relaxation. My top priorities are keeping the animals I care for safe, loved and happy! I have experience administering medicine and reacting quickly in case of emergencies. This is my current role, so I will have plenty of time to care for your furry friend! I enjoy music, nature, spending time outdoors, staying active & giving a whole lotta love! Activities include: Long walks in nature preserves, hiking destinations and public parks Visiting dog parks (for more social dogs) Playing a game of catch and frissbee (large fenced in backyard) Running, rollerblading, bike riding (especially for high energy dogs) Swimming in reservoirs, lakes and / or the beach (warm weather required) Making sure your dog stays on his / her routine that you've created is essential! I understand the importance of maintaining a healthy schedule for your pup to ensure their health and well being. Aside from the feeding, walking and exercise schedule there will also be plenty of belly rubs, gentle massages, cuddling, petting and boat loads of affection! This is currently my only role / position. This means I have full availability and plenty of time / energy to care for your pet and / or home. As a former professional Nanny, I care for them the way I would care for a child. Safety, respect, care, attention, and lots of love.

About: I have been around dogs all my life, mostly big mutts, and actively caring for the family dog since the age of 10. I trained my parents last 2 labradors (always a fun breed). I have elderly dog experience both with a big malamute/shepherd mix and a diaper wearing rat terrier. So I am used to the individualized care that different dogs need. On the fun side of things, long walks, fetch and tug o war are my specialities! I can groom, bathe, give medications, play, walk, run, snuggle, scratch and provide whatever care you prescribe for your favorite family member! I currently work from home with a flexible schedule so I can run on your schedule. If dog sitting, I only need an couple hours in the afternoon to walk my parents dog. If your pup enjoys other dogs and you are comfortable with it they can come along too. My own 3 year old dog is walked at least 4 times a day. He is a lab so he enjoys long walks and trips to the beach, bay, hiking trails, and dog park. I make sure he gets tug of war time and he loves my cats laser pointer. We keep him supplied with dry food at all times because he does not overeat. He gets wet food once a week and an ample supply of people food whenever anyone is in the kitchen. But this is just how my family cares for our pups. I will strive to interrupt your dog's normal routine as little as possible.
About: I have dog sat for other people before and I absolutely love animals. I have 5 of my own animals that I love with all of my heart. One of them is a puppy right now. I have experienced little dogs, medium dogs, bigger dogs and puppies. I’ve learned a lot through my own trial and error early on with my own dogs. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am currently working part time and I have time in my day to make sure your pet has all the love and attention it needs. Since I have 5 dogs it would preferably have to be in the clients home especially the first few times so I would be able to connect with the dog.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
