I do have a live feed camera in my living room so, I decided to try rover. I saw Alexis’s profile and that she too, had cats and she works at a vet clinic. I immediately felt very comfortable choosing her. Each time I checked my little camera, Alexis was doing a PHENOMENAL job. She spoke to my cats exactly how I would, loved on them the way I would, spent good quality time with them, AND sent me lots of photos. About: I have almost always had animals in my life and home. I recently lost my deaf boxer who was my best friend for the last 11 years. Along with her I had another dog and 2 cats so I am used to a full house of animals. I also worked at a humane society for almost 3 years, leading the cleaning, feeding, dog training, as well as overseeing the matching and adoption process and am comfortable with giving medications. I work full time, three days in the office, and two days at home so am primarily available Fridays through Sundays. Depending on the animal's needs if they are fine being alone for 8 hours a day I am open to other days. I have always and will continue to always only take dogs out on a leash as my yard is not fenced. I am always very aware of my surroundings to make sure myself and animals are safe.

“I'm pretty sure Savannah is a pet magician. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat that are VERY picky about who they trust. Trusting is something that doesn't come easy to them. From the time Savannah walked in the door they all fell absolutely in love with her. I have never seen anything like it. My mostly feral dog comes close to her, and smiles! My cat who usually chooses to scream at people from under the couch greets her at the door and cuddles with her while she's there. She's so much better than 5 stars. I can also send regular updates and plenty of pictures so you can relax while you’re away. At my home, pets are welcomed into a calm, dog-friendly space with a fully fenced backyard and plenty of room to play or relax. I live with my boyfriend and our golden retriever, Yadi, who is very sweet and gets along well with other dogs. I work from home, so pets are rarely left alone and get plenty of attention throughout the day. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible and can accommodate crate training, feeding schedules, medication, or any special needs. I stick to their normal walking routes, feeding schedules, and rules (whether they’re allowed on the couch or not!). About: I’m not sure what makes me better than other sitters. I just know that your dog will be in GREAT hands. You can trust me. I work from home so I can give your dog lots of attention. And my miniature poodle is very playful and friendly. If your dog needs frequent potty breaks I can handle it. I do not have a fence unfortunately. I take my dog out on a harness/leash for walks. Very dog friendly area. Nothing to worry about. My cat hangs out outside most of the day and gets along with other animals just fine.
