“Paz did a wonderful job sitting my dog at my house while I was away. She texted me with photos about twice a day, and asked me some questions that she wanted to know. I already booked her for another trip I'm going on this winter. I have no complaints at all about her care for my dog.”

“Devon & Kai were great! Booked them for the first time for house sitting (multiple days) with our pup who was 6 wks post-op recovery from TPLO surgery. Naturally we had unique care instructuons & were nervous leaving our recovering fur family member in someone else's care for 4 days but Devon was so flexible and willing to adapt to our needs we knew we found the right team! Already looking at possible future dates - def recommend!”

“Excellent expirience all around. This was our first time using Rover after our original sitter fell through. Chris was fantastic at communicating and sent so many updates and photos we felt like our dogs were with us on our trip. Chris not only let our dogs out and fed them but really cared for them and made sure they were happy and comfortable while we were gone. We will absolutely use Chris again!”

“Jessica did a fantastic job staying with my dogs while we were out of town. She was very thoughtful and regularly sent updates and pictures. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Laura was absolutely awesome! Laura truly was the best! She took the very beat care of our home and dogs. Our dogs (who are a bit needy and one special needs) had a smooth and seamless transition into her care. She was thought forward, kind, caring, diligent and followed all our dogs care needs and schedule perfectly. She treated our pups and our home as her own and we are so GRATEFUL! We feel so blessed to have met her and to have her care for our beloved dogs. We were very impressed & our dogs were never so calm upon our return ever. She is wonderful and comes highly recommended and we definitely hope to use her again.”

“One of the hardest things about having pets is caring for them when we’re not able to. There’s just so much to worry about and too many nuanced details to convey to a house/dog sitter that it’s tough to be at ease. I’ll admit that I’m a little high-strung and using Rover for the first time for this service was not an easy decision. Fast forward to today…Heather is an absolute pro. You immediately get that she’s very experienced and respectful of your unique situation. She asks all the right questions and is an excellent communicator. Honestly could go on and on, but needless to say, we’re super pleased and I think found the high-mark on our very first try. We are already scheduled to see her again this summer and it’ll be the first time that I won’t worry about our dogs or home. Thanks Heather!”

“Carol was wonderful! It was our first time leaving our puppy, Teddy, overnight for a few days, and Carol really put our minds at ease very quickly. She cared for Teddy like he was her own. We got regular updates with photos of Teddy looking like he was having a great time. I think he was a little sad to see her go! She was such a pleasure to interact with for us, too. We will definitely be contacting her again the next time have to be away from Teddy! Thank you so very much for a wonderful experience, Carol!”

About: I recently had to say goodbye to my own dog, who was my daily walking buddy and constant sidekick. Getting back to dog care is a way for me to stay connected to that part of my life. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and know how important it is to find someone you trust when you’re away. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from high-energy pups to older dogs who need a gentler pace. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, medications, basic training reinforcement, or just giving your dog the attention they need while you’re out. I’m reliable, communicative, and treat every dog like they’re my own. Whether it’s regular walks, check-ins, or some extra company for your pup while you’re gone, I’ve got it covered. I’m currently working part time from home as a consultant. So my schedule is very flexible. I can be available throughout the day as needed. I have a fenced yard and plenty of space for your pup to roam. I have a reliable car and am available to bring dogs to my house if needed.

“Shari was better than great! First of all, she came to meet and greet the dogs two times to make sure they were comfortable before our trip. She did everything we asked while watching our two dogs. She has knowledge and experience with leash reactive dogs, which one of ours is. She was attentive and snuggly, which is what our dogs need. Sherry sent updates and pictures throughout each day we were gone. I would recommend her for your dog sitting needs any time!”

“Erin was amazing!! She was on time, kind and my Sonny just loved her. They connected immediately and I could tell that he loved her from the moment they met! She sent pictures and updates and I will definitely be booking her again! Not only did Sonny and I love her but my mom loved her too. Scheduling to book her again next week! We loved having Erin as a dog sitter!”

About: Over the past 6 years, I have had the opportunity to watch many friends as their owners were away. I have done sittings with more than one animal most of the time. I love taking them on walks, playing with them and getting to see the personality of your pet. I am currently working part-time along with being a full-time graduate student. So your friend and I will have plenty of time to spend together. I was raised around dogs and cats my entire life. Due to rules, I cannot have an animal in my apartment. I live playing fetch tug and hide and seek, while I am also down for a good lazy snuggle day. I often am found taking pictures of the pets and sending numerous pictures day to the owners.

About: I have cared for all kinds of animals in my life, from Rabbits and Birds to Cats and Dogs. My family always had a number of pets for me to look after. I am an experienced dog walker who owns two energetic Labrador retrievers. I have also cared for my brother's dogs over the years, one of which was highly reactive. I do very well with big dogs 70+ lbs, as that is what I currently own but am more than capable with smaller breads as well. I have a full-time day job that keeps me busy, but I am looking to do some side jobs to reduce stress from my day job. I do have two dogs of my own who I care for, but this shouldn't deter me from being to help care for yours. As the owner of two high-energy dogs, I know when they need to be sent to their own corners after playing too hard. I have two large kennels on hand for timeouts if need be. I prefer to use a hands-free leash with a tragic handle on a walk for added support control on walks. I do not use retractable leashes as they are not recommended by trainers or vets.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! She took care of our dog along with my parents’ two dogs, and gave all three so much love and attention. She was incredibly reliable, responsible, and clearly has a natural way with animals. We really appreciated the daily updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. All the dogs were happy and well cared for—we’re so grateful for her help and would absolutely book with her again!”

“Our dogs had a great time with Paige! She did great following their schedule and even took them on a walk. They loved snuggling up with her on the couch and we saw it in all the pictures! Definitely will book again!”

About: I've had pets and dogs growing up. I currently have a soon to be 10 year old rescue beagle and two guinea pigs. Had cats at one point. I have house sat for different people and have stayed the night for some. I love all animals! My dog also has anxiety and was heartworm positive when I rescued her so she takes daily meds and I'm aware of certain medications causing specific symptoms in dogs because of learning from her. She found me when she just turned 4 years old. I recently lost my job. I'm trying to make sure I keep my car on the road and my dog fed. I love animals so what's better than taking care of them? Every dog is a baby to me. My dog does have a crate, but its treated as a safe space for her. Otherwise she's treated like the family and sleeps with me. I also only feed treats made in America and with limited ingredients.

“Tingting was awesome! Our dog has anxiety when meeting new people and has had past troubles with resource guarding. He has had extensive behavior training, but I still struggle trusting him around others. Tingting came a day early to meet our guy and was very attentive to my directions. Needless to say, the two of them got along very well. She sent daily pictures and updates, which put me at ease. Tingting will be my go to for future trips!”

This was my first time booking with Jenna. She came over and met my dog prior to my trip. I was surprised how quickly he warmed up to her. I have a leash reactive dog and it was comforting to know she had previous experience with reactive dogs. I also have a senior cat that has been having some health issues, so was anxious leaving him. She provided lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. It really put me at ease and allowed me to enjoy my trip knowing they were in great care. I would absolutely book with Jenna again. Thanks for the great care, I really appreciate it!

Lisa came in at nearly the last minute and saved my vacation. She was friendly, cordial and really saved my bacon. She seems to have gotten along quite well with my boy Zeus, no small task. She kept me informed on how things were going, and gave me no problems whatsoever. I would have no problem working with her again...

Gina was an amazing sitter for our cats. She gave them lots of love, attention and playtime. She sent regular updates, and I could see from the pictures that the cats were staying in their normal routines, which let me know they were also comfortable with her. She took great care of the house and left it in excellent condition. I will absolutely use her again and highly recommend her!
