“This is about the 4th time that Kate has taken care of my precious mini Schnauzer. This was a 10 day visit. My Schnauzer is so warm and loving but she can be shy. She is very cooperative and loves Kate. She had not seen Kate for over 5 months and when we drove up, she gave a howl of recognition and delight. Needless to say, my dog pulled me into the house. We had a vacation and so did my dog. Kate is genuinely kind and caring. She sends me photos daily and does not hesitate to ask a question. About: As long as I can remember I've been an animal lover. I grew up riding horses, working on farms, + living with no less than 3 dogs at a time in my house. As a kid I dreamed of being a veterinarian. I took in all sorts of animals that needed to be nursed back to health from birds + snakes to donkeys + kittens. It was a little like living in a zoo + I loved every second! I rode + trained horses competitively in high school. At 16, I qualified for the junior Olympic team in equestrian eventing. I’m now a mom, my own son is 16, and I own my own photography business capturing families + pets spreading joy + gratitude. Rover is a welcome addition to that career. I absolutely LOVE what I do + am thankful to have the opportunity to support myself + my son serving other animal loving families like us. I work remotely Mondays and Fridays. Tuesday through Thursday I’m in the office 8-5pm in King of Prussia. I’m typically available most weekends but can occasionally offer weekday evening bookings. Safety is a priority for me. I aim to keep your pets routine stable and comfortable so we stick with what they know and don’t try new things until trust has been built.

About: I’ve taken care of and owned dogs for the past 8 years in a variety of settings. I have owned dogs of my own, I have watched pets in other homes, and I also worked in a professional setting as a receptionist at a local vet clinic. Since I currently work a desk job full time, that leaves me with a lot of energy in the evenings and weekends. That’s where your pets come in at! Pets are so much fun and so energetic. One of my favorite things to do when I was younger, was play for hours with my dogs - fetch, roll over, chasing. It was endless fun. I’m looking for that free spirited fun that a pet can bring! As an outsider coming in to your environment, I am aware that a pet of any kind may be weary. I will make them feel as though I am not a threat to them or you, and become a best friend! I first and foremost make sure they’re comfortable, and go from there. I always follow rules/routines of the owners liking and provide their pet with the highest quality care.

I’m able to maintain their regular routines, give them plenty of attention and affection throughout the day, and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and right at home. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, your cat will receive plenty of one-on-one attention while they’re in my care. I grew up with a cat and have continued to care for cats through fostering over the years. While I’m unable to board your sweet kitty in my home because of my dogs, I’d be more than happy to come to your home and provide them with plenty of love, attention, and companionship. About: I grew up taking care of cats and dogs, and am a current volunteer for multiple animal rescues. My joy is taking care of animals and making sure they are enjoying life to the fullest! My goal is to keep your animals happy while you need to be away, and providing you trust and reassurance your pet is in great hands. I work remotely from home which is a plus in providing 24/7 care. My schedule is flexible for potty breaks, dog walks, cat check ins, & feedings. I am available for dog/cat check ins while you’re away, daytime daycare, and overnights and boarding at my house (dogs only). For dog boarding, if your pup has special items that you feel would make their stay more comfortable, please feel free to send any additional items along (blankets, toys, dog bed, etc) I guarantee the safety of your pet, in your home or mine. For dogs, I ensure your dog is closely monitored and on leash when outdoors. For cats, your cat will be monitored and kept in your home. I will actively communicate with any concerns regarding your animal.

“This is about the 4th time that Kate has taken care of my precious mini Schnauzer. This was a 10 day visit. My Schnauzer is so warm and loving but she can be shy. She is very cooperative and loves Kate. She had not seen Kate for over 5 months and when we drove up, she gave a howl of recognition and delight. Needless to say, my dog pulled me into the house. We had a vacation and so did my dog. Kate is genuinely kind and caring. She sends me photos daily and does not hesitate to ask a question. However, Kate knows my dog so well (and dogs in general) and always has her best interest at heart. I know that my dog had a wonderful time with Kate. If you need a dog sitter in the Media area or for that matter, I suggest driving to have Kate take care of your precious dog. I knew Kate before I knew she was on Rover. When, she told me, I jumped at the chance for my dog to stay with her. I cannot stress enough how professional, caring, communicative and loving Kate is with my dog. I had a great vacation and so did my Schnauzer! You do not need to search, Kate is the best!!”

About: I am a lifetime lover and owner of dogs. While other kids watched Saturday morning cartoons, I watched shows about dog training and dog breeds. I grew up around dogs of all types and have always loved having one by my side. Our family recently lost our dog, and while I’m not ready to commit to dog ownership full time, I miss having one around and want to help other families. I have experience walking different types of dogs that have varying levels of leash skills, managing special dietary and medication needs and can adapt to their activity requirements. If you have a dog that’s used to being part of an active family, or at least around one, I could be a great fit for you. I shared availability that accommodates long weekend boarding needs. This is when I consistently work from home or am off so that I can be around and give your dog the best care. You can expect regular breaks and walks for your dog on my work from home days. On the weekends, I will include your dog in my family activities. While busy, I am at our home base a lot, and much of the activity involves walking the borough, going on mini adventures in nearby parks, or hanging at our house with friends. Including a furry guest into my family-centered lifestyle is easy (and fun!) for me to do. I have a fenced in yard, live in an extremely walkable neighborhood, and have a gated off mudroom when your dog needs a little more space or down time. My kids understand animal boundaries well for their age and are used to respecting their space. While they will not be responsible for your dog’s care, they will be around. My cat is suspicious, but typically tolerant of dogs once he gets used to them.
About: As long as I can remember I've been an animal lover. I grew up riding horses, working on farms, + living with no less than 3 dogs at a time in my house. As a kid I dreamed of being a veterinarian. I took in all sorts of animals that needed to be nursed back to health from birds + snakes to donkeys + kittens. It was a little like living in a zoo + I loved every second! I rode + trained horses competitively in high school. At 16, I qualified for the junior Olympic team in equestrian eventing. I’m now a mom, my own son is 16, and I own my own photography business capturing families + pets spreading joy + gratitude. Rover is a welcome addition to that career. I absolutely LOVE what I do + am thankful to have the opportunity to support myself + my son serving other animal loving families like us. I work remotely Mondays and Fridays. Tuesday through Thursday I’m in the office 8-5pm in King of Prussia. I’m typically available most weekends but can occasionally offer weekday evening bookings. Safety is a priority for me. I aim to keep your pets routine stable and comfortable so we stick with what they know and don’t try new things until trust has been built.
