About: I've been a lifelong dog owner and have cared for dogs most of my life. I've frequently dog-sat for friends and family over the years, including feeding, walking, administering medications when needed and providing lots of attention and playtime. I work from home full-time, so your dog will receive plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. My partner is retired and also home most of the time, so there is almost always someone here with the pets. Because of this, dogs are rarely left alone and get lots of care, playtime, and comfort during their stay. Dogs under 40 lbs. please. We provide a calm, safe, and welcoming environment and follow each dog’s normal routine for feeding, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. Our home has a fenced backyard where dogs can safely enjoy time outside. We also have a friendly 5-year-old dog who is low-energy and well socialized. She enjoys the company of other dogs but is also respectful of dogs who prefer their own space. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to us. We introduce dogs slowly, supervise interactions, and treat every dog in our home like part of the family. We are also happy to send photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away.

Over the years, I’ve developed patience, consistency, and a deep understanding of different personalities and care requirements. I naturally build pet care into my daily routine. I make time for walks, feeding, play, while staying flexible to match each dogs schedule and energy level. My home provides a safe, secure environment with a fenced in backyard for supervised play. I also have a small Poodle/Shih Tuz mix that loves having company, making it a friendly and social environment.

“Very pleased with Marti’s care. She looked after our terrier over the New Year’s holidays for six days. During that time we received regular updates and photos. Booking was straightforward, as was pickup and dropoff. We particularly appreciated her taking small dogs only, and capping the number as well. Five stars!”

About: I have been caring for animals since I was about 14. I have had successful experience with treating a puppy with parvo (she did survive). I have great experience with taking care of the needs of family and friends pets. I volunteered at a cat shelter for a couple months and had a lot of fun taking care of and playing with all of them. I am currently at home everyday, so I do have time to take care of and play with the pets. I am available for boarding. This is a child free space, so your pets have no worries about any stressful situations that would come with that. Dogs with be walked every 2 hours, more frequently if needed. We have 1 sassy but loving cat to keep your pet company. Though, she does tend to stick to her bumble bee pillow. If pet becomes stressed I can easily secluded the from the situation so that they are in a calmer environment. Pets will be fed 2 to 3 times a day unless specified otherwise.

“Jesse is SO flexible! I need that for my life, haha. He makes it very easy for me not to stress about finding care for Toby whenever the need comes up. Jesse usually takes care of multiple dogs and my dog LOVES being around and playing with "the pack". So thankful for Jesse!”

With all the uncertainty with flights, Tania was super understanding about the possibility of cancelling. Thankfully, all went well and June enjoyed her stay!
