Rachael has kept my Roxy twice so far and takes great care of her. She is calm and loving. She brushes Roxy every day. I am always confident Roxy is happy, comfortable, and safe with Rachael.

Deb and Dave were wonderful with Tinkerbell! We got a ton of pictures and felt good knowing she was safe and happy and well cared-for. If we are back in the area I would definitely use Deb again, and I highly recommend her!

About: I've been pet-sitting for several years in Marietta, and I consider myself well-experienced with all kinds of animals, from reptiles to giant dogs. All animals are special, and I can accommodate anything your furry friend needs. I have experience with many animals that are considered "difficult" to care for, such as elderly/arthritic, sick, or extremely high energy dogs and cats! I'm not afraid of any animal, and administering medication is a standard part of what I do if it's needed. I currently work 445pm-9pm Sunday thru Thursday, leaving me open for dropins in the mornings/early afternoons. Additionally, I am available for boarding on Fridays and Saturdays. My home is extremely pet friendly! I live with my best friend, and we are both huge animal lovers. Additionally, I make daily trips to the dog park and other local spots to provide lots of time to stretch!

She did so good with my cherry baby. She sent me lots of pictures and made sure I knew how she was doing. I will definitely go with her again.

Otis and Molly were well treated. Came back happy and tired from playing all week. Updates provided during the week was reassuring. Would recommend. Will rebook if the need arises again.

Adrian provided fantastic care for our dogs. We received regular updates and he reached out for information he needed to make their stay worry free. Our dogs were well cared for and we joked that they seemed to love being with Adrian and his family so much that they may not want to come back home! 😆 We would definitely use Adrian again and will recommend him to anyone looking for boarding/walks/drop in services.

About: I've taken care of pets since I was 10. My neighborhood frequently go to me when they need a dog/cat sitter for a week and I'm used to going over as many times as needed. I'm patient and have had puppies growing up. This job is exciting for me because I genuinely love and care for all animals. I find that they brighten my day and I'm prepared to help my community take care of their pets. I'm about to graduate and have plenty of free time throughout my weekdays and weekends that I'm not out of town for soccer. I'll have lots of flexible times so I'm confident my schedule will work for many. I have a golden doodle named Stanley that loves to play and run around my yard he is a friendly giant that my neighborhood has all come to love. He loves walks and going for car rides.

Bridget was wonderful for an overnight stay for Shelby. She was very communicative and sent many pictures and videos of her playing with and snuggling with Shelby. I would 1000% book with Bridget for any dog sitting needs!

About: By day I’m a work-from-home U.S. government employee, and in my free time I manage my 10 acre homestead. I have a wealth of animal care experience on the farm: housing 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 alpacas, 4 peacocks, 5 goats, and too many chickens to count. With that cast of characters I’ve learned a lot about animal care, and have the vet on speed dial just in case lol. I have a fenced in play area which can accommodate even larger breeds and some friendly dogs of my own to keep everyone entertained (and exercised). I’m also adept at administering medications (if necessary) and will consider accommodating special needs pets on a case-by-case basis. Most importantly, I absolutely love dogs and can’t wait to hang out with yours.

About: I've cared for my family's Shih Ztu ever since I was 8 years old. Throughout his 13 years of life, I've also cared for my brother's Yorkie, Lab, and Golden Retriever on multiple occasions!! Now, I have my own 6 month old puppy named Zeke💕 I'm currently a full-time college student doing this as a side job. Dogs bring me an unbelievable amount of joy and are a great way to relieve some stress from school!! If I'm ever needed inside of your home, I will treat it as though it is my own. I am very responsible and understand how to clean up after myself and your doggy!

Every sitter has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.

Sitters may also include daily walks in the neighborhood during your dog's boarding stay. You can also request photo and message updates throughout so you can see which local landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.

If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Vienna home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Vienna.

Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Vienna sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in WV ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
