Pet care experience

Responsible animal lover! 🐾

Looking for a cozy, welcoming home environment where your pet can feel comfortable while you’re away? I strive to make every pet feel like part of the family, with plenty of outdoor time, attention, play, cuddles, and opportunities to relax. I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have cared for pets of all different personalities, sizes, ages, and needs. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering medications, and adjusting routines to help each pet feel as comfortable and secure as possible. Safety is extremely important to me. I am privately insured and CPR certified, including pet CPR. I take the time to get to know each animal and understand that what works for one pet may not work for another. My home is accustomed to having animals of all kinds and sizes. I have the ability to provide both social time and separate spaces, so pets can be kept apart when needed rather than being expected to interact with everyone. Whether your pet loves making friends or would rather have their own quiet space, I’m happy to accommodate their individual needs. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind while giving your pet a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable home away from home.

Lindsay was amazing! It was my first time leaving my Sally girl with anyone. She accepted a short notice same day request. She was extremely accommodating to make sure that my girl felt safe and comfortable. She sent several pictures and updates to let me know that she was ok. Not only was Sally ok, she was great in Lindsay’s care and was calm enough to sleep shortly after arriving which really helped put my mind at ease. I will definitely request for Lindsay to watch my girl whenever I am staying in the area again.

Schedule

I’m home throughout the day and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care. Dogs can enjoy supervised time with compatible pets and members of our household, or they can have their own space if they prefer a quieter environment. Because I’m home, I’m able to accommodate frequent potty breaks, individual feeding schedules, medications, rest periods, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I do my best to maintain each pet’s normal routine while also making them feel comfortable and at home during their stay.

Safety, trust & environment

My home is set up with safety and comfort in mind. I have a dedicated kennel area, a doggy door, and a securely fenced yard divided into two sections, which allows me to safely separate dogs when needed. I use gradual, supervised introductions and can provide either social time with compatible dogs or individual time based on each pet’s needs and temperament. Dogs who are comfortable in a home environment are welcome inside my home and on the furniture. For the safety of everyone in our household, dogs spending time inside the main home must be good with children, cats, and other dogs and must not be destructive in the home. Dogs who do not meet those requirements may still be a good fit for care using my designated kennel area and separate spaces. Cleanliness is also a priority. Pet areas are routinely cleaned and sanitized, and I use WysiWash, a veterinary-grade disinfectant, as part of my sanitation routine.

Pets

A typical day

Our mornings typically start between 6–8 AM with potty breaks followed by breakfast, with dogs fed separately for safety and comfort. After breakfast and rest times there will be plenty of supervised time outside in our fenced yard, either individually or with compatible companions. Throughout the day, dogs rotate between outdoor play, potty breaks, relaxing indoors or in their own space, and one-on-one attention. Evenings include dinner, another round of outdoor time, and plenty of time to wind down before bed. Sleeping arrangements are flexible too—dogs can settle in with a human or comfortably in their own designated space depending on what they’re accustomed to and where they’re most comfortable. I’m happy to adjust the routine for puppies, seniors, medications, special feeding schedules, or simply a dog who likes to do things a little differently!

The more I know about your pet, the better I can personalize their stay! Please let me know how they do with other dogs, cats, children, and new people so I can make the appropriate accommodations. I also need to know about any history of escaping, fence jumping/climbing, reactivity, resource guarding, or other behaviors that may affect their care. Please share any medications, allergies, medical concerns, veterinary information, feeding instructions, mealtimes, and important parts of their normal routine. Vaccines are required to book with me for the safety of all involved.
