About: Hello my name is Kaitlin and I am a wife and registered nurse looking to enrich my life and make extra income by taking care of your dogs! I am experienced with all breeds large and small, I have a house with a large fenced in yard. I have dog sat for neighbors as they traveled and am home most days. I walk or run 2-3 miles a day and would love to have a furry friend to join me. I have flexibility in my schedule and am happy to help you out and work with you to create a schedule you are happy with. I live with my Husband who is a veteran. We have two fur babies of our own. I look forward to getting to know you and your dogs, and answer any questions you may have! I am available most days to walk dogs and check on them throughout the day in their own home. I do have two dogs of my own so I won’t be able to board in my home. I will care for your pets as if they were my own. I absolutely love dogs and would love to have an animal sanctuary one day.

About: I have lived with dogs for over 10 years. I have experience caring for both small and large dogs. At this time I do not work with pit bulls and Rottweilers. I work from home as a consultant so I have a lot of flexibility with my time to meet the needs of your furry friends! I have a 50 acre yard that is unfenced. Unless your dog has passed obedience training and will respond to come, I typically will use a leash outside. We have a smoke-free home. We have a border collie mix who is very gentle. We do not take care due to my husband’s car allergy. I am a runner and with your prior approval, I can even take your pooch on a scenic run!

About: I love dogs! When I was in Seattle, I would walk dogs along the beach and in the neighbourhood. I grew up with German Shepherds, so big dogs are my favourite, but I love small as well. I mostly work from home, so I can be pretty accommodating around your schedule. I mostly work from home but have a part time job during the week. My weekends are usually open. I am not able to accommodate your pet in my home, but I can come to you and take your dog on long walks. Let me know ahead of time if your dog(s) are good with other dogs, crate trained, leash trained, and potty trained. Though I don't board multiple families dogs at the same time, I need to know how your pup will interact with others on the streets. Your pup will not be in the crate while I am home, but if I need to step out, I would prefer them in their crate.

About: I have a psychotic husky, I can handle anything. I can also walk at anytime you need. I've been doing this sort of thing for years. My schedule is wide open, I can accommodate basically anytime. My job is remote and flexible and I do this to earn extra income mostly. I always make sure to walk dogs at a leisurely pace, giving them time to sniff at bushes and the like. I also always clean up the dog waste

About: My family had the most wonderful dog as I was growing up. We now have two cats. I struggle to see animals suffering and want them to be taken care of. My cat had babies one time and I stayed up in the night to keep one of them alive. I am working part-time and am looking for ways to make money that are more flexible than an 8 hour shift schedule. My sister and I love animals and would be happy to give a good place to sleep to one and get some exercise along with them! We have a fenced yard and a neighborhood with some nice dogs to enjoy passing by on walks. There are two outdoor cats as well that we make sure dogs have some space from because they do not like dogs. These cats sleep outside the house, so there will be no problems with that.

Quinn was such a great help, we wanted to go to city to celebrate my upcoming birthday last minute and Quinn was here for the rescue. Quinn went beyond our expectations when it came to walking and taking care of our chihuahua. Will definitely be booking in the future.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
