“Angel has done an amazing job with our dogs, whether it’s taking them on a walk or just dropping in for a visit. She is very professional, send lots of pictures, and you can tell that she really cares about your animals. Will definitely be using her again in the future!”

About: I love dogs! When I was in Seattle, I would walk dogs along the beach and in the neighbourhood. I grew up with German Shepherds, so big dogs are my favourite, but I love small as well. I mostly work from home, so I can be pretty accommodating around your schedule. I mostly work from home but have a part time job during the week. My weekends are usually open. I am not able to accommodate your pet in my home, but I can come to you and take your dog on long walks. Let me know ahead of time if your dog(s) are good with other dogs, crate trained, leash trained, and potty trained. Though I don't board multiple families dogs at the same time, I need to know how your pup will interact with others on the streets. Your pup will not be in the crate while I am home, but if I need to step out, I would prefer them in their crate.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life! All kinds of breeds and sizes. I also have experience with livestock! I’ve shown goats for 4 years in the past! I have some experience with horses as well! I have a German short haired pointer that has loads of energy! I’ve had 2 senior dogs in the past 4 years, sadly they have passed on. I would love to work with you and your fur babies! I recently became a stay at home mom! I have my 1 month old baby and my German shorthair pointer. I’m very flexible on weekdays! Some weekends also. How ever you need me to care for your pets/livestock I will! I can do walks or playing outside! Certain medications or specific food! I will want to meet you and your animals to make sure we are a good match.
About: I have a psychotic husky, I can handle anything. I can also walk at anytime you need. I've been doing this sort of thing for years. My schedule is wide open, I can accommodate basically anytime. My job is remote and flexible and I do this to earn extra income mostly. I always make sure to walk dogs at a leisurely pace, giving them time to sniff at bushes and the like. I also always clean up the dog waste
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid, have had a dog consistently for the last 7 years. Walks, vet appointments, car rides, etc. Friends also rely on me for letting their dogs out, administering medicines, and making sure they are fed. I have a full time job, so I am available most evenings and Tuesday/Wednesdays for care and walks! More than happy to make arrangements during the day as they fit into my schedule and are close to work. In a client’s home, I can make sure fur babies are walked, fed, crated, and ensure they get some exercise, etc. I have experience playing lots of fetch, frisbee, and caring for dogs over 50lbs.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
