“Courtney was amazing! I had my sitter cancel last minute and she was able to cover. She knows tons about animals and I felt very relieved to have someone like her watch my cats. Will definitely book again!”

“Given the weather here in Laramie during the winter, I ended up not needing Sadie for the dates. However, she met my dog prior to when I was supposed to leave and they seemed to get along great. She has experience with dogs with medical histories, so that helped to feel like my dog was in good hands. Sadie is communicative and was very understanding about the change in circumstances.”

“Jennifer was wonderful! She helped me with a last minute request and immediately connected well with my dog and my cat during our meet and greet. She came when she said she would and took great care of both of them. She’s professional and warm.”

“She was great! Very quick to respond to messages and had very good communication over the whole weekend. My cats seemed to take a liking to her very quickly. Would recommend!”

“Mariana was very reliable and kept me updated throughout her drop-in visits. I was very nervous leaving my puppy for the first time and Mariana made the whole experience positive. If you’re looking for someone who will provide great care to your pet, she’s the right person :)”

“Neesa was so great with my two cats, she took the time to come by and get to know them and the space first, she was very flexible and understanding with schedule adjustments and really transparent. She took great care of my home and even waters my plants. My cats seemed to love her and really warmed up to her, letting her pick them up and sit down for long cuddles. I would 100% recommend her and will be booking her again.”

About: Over my years I've had different breeds of dogs, and other animals in many different enviroments. Animals approach me out of nowhere. Training animals comes easy to me, I'm patient, thural, and dedicated. Falconry dogs, working class dogs, and even the little ones. Animals are my life, they come first and they love me. Give the dog time to come to me and it'll never leave my side. Follow the owners instructions. Make sure the dog always has water, fed on time, potty breaks, and time outside. Learn the dog and learn how to take care of it.

About: i’ve taken care and have lived with dogs for all of my life being a part of someone’s home and taking care of someone’s dog or pet is something I want to accomplish to give the owner a peace of mind to know their animal is in good hands. I work part time for a swim school, teaching kids how to swim for their safety. Once I’m home, I make sure my own animals get their love and attention. I can easily crate your dog if needed, and have a fenced backyard. In your own home would be most fitting however, and would provide proper pet necessities

“Wendy really helped us out on very short notice. We were stuck out of town and I reached out on very short notice and she was able to stop by and feed and care for my kitties. Thank you Wendy!”

About: I currently live in a two downstair bedroom apartment with access to the patio and yard. I currently have one dog, a Norwegian Elkhound. We go for about 1hrs walks daily and go out hiking almost every weekend. I have experience with all sizes (small, medium, large, x-large). I also babysat several of my friends' dogs at my apartment and I have also gone to their houses to dog sit. I have also done multiple walks with multiple dogs. I am willing to walk multiple dogs, go to someone's house to house sit/ dog sit, and willing to dog sit overnight for multiple days. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns for me. I work full time from 8-5 M-F. But I'll sometimes come home for lunch and if required I can always come home to take the dog out. I can also dog walk during the day as I use it for my lunch time. I try to make them as comfortable as I can. If staying with me, I have multiple dog beds, water bowls, and toys they can use. I have a big crate if that is needed. I also have gates to block off areas that they get into or where they don't need to be in. I do live downstairs and access to the patio and yard. I always leash them if we are going out this way since it isn't fenced.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities, from pups to seniors. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and connected while their humans are away. I make sure they are cared for as if they were my own. Whether your pup craves active walks/ trail hikes or peaceful cuddles around the house, I adapt to their needs and energy level. During pet sitting or walks, I’ll provide plenty of love, attention, exercise and lots of treats. I currently work part-time Monday through Thursday and am available after 4:30 PM on those days. I have open availability Friday through Sunday, so I’m flexible for weekends, evenings, and overnight care. I always follow your pet’s routine to help them feel safe and at ease in their own space. I respect your home, keep things clean, and make sure your pet is cared for just like you would. You’ll get updates along the way so you know everything’s going smoothly.

About: I have raised four dogs over the past 16 years. I have/had the following breeds: pitbull, shiba inu, two Akitas. Love to take them on long walks. Pretty flexible as long as I have advance notifications. Weekends are pretty free if I am not traveling out of the area or have an event planned. I love all my dogs. Sometimes I treat them better than my human friends. :-) I would treat your dogs the same or even better.

“Cari does a great job with our kitties. We were gone for a week and we saw a cat on our ring that really looked like our cat outside, and Cari made an extra visit just to make sure our cat didn’t sneak out, it shows she really cares and saved our last few days of vacation. I will hire her again.”

About: I have experience volunteering at several different humane societies, it feels extremely fulfilling and satisfying to me being around all the fur babies. I have owned and taken care of dozens of puppies/dogs throughout my life and have enjoyed every second of it. I have cared for 7 week old puppies to 15 year old dogs, big and small. Most recently, I was a long term foster for a senior dog and it was very rewarding. I've taken care of all my friends and family's dogs as well since I was 14 years old. I know how to bathe small dogs, trim their nails, read their body language, how to get their attention and how to play with them. I am also currently in school to get my degree in veterinary nursing. I believe that the life of an animal is no less precious than the life of a human being, therefore it's important that we love, respect and have patience for them. Right now I am a part time student but am typically available any days after 11am. Weekends I am free all day. Occasionally I do travel every other month but will let you know ahead of time. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every pet like a member of the family. In my home, I create a safe, cozy, and stimulating environment where they can relax, play, and feel completely at ease. From setting up comfy spots for naps to ensuring plenty of toys and enrichment activities, their happiness is my priority. In your home, I maintain their routine to provide comfort and familiarity—whether that’s sticking to their feeding schedule, taking them on their favorite walking routes, or giving them belly rubs in their favorite spot. My goal is to make sure they feel loved, secure, and cared for no matter where they are!

About: I love my dog and everyone else's! I dog and house sit for all my family and friends gladly. Im passionate and kind with all animals. I am retired so my schedule is wide open. If you need flexibility, that is me! I can work in Tahoe or Reno if needed. I am always home with my dog and dogs I sit. I do run the occasional errand but otherwise I am around and attentive. I love 2+ hour walks

About: (New to Rover which is why I don’t have many reviews!) I've been taking care of animals for over a decade. I also have dog training experience - for many years I learned to train my own dog Lady through 4H and put her into dog shows and agility courses. As someone who works from home all but one day per week, I can give your dog all the time and attention they require. I have a very large fenced in backyard and will regularly take your pup on walks and fetch several times a day. My own dog is basically my child and I understand that it's tough to be away from your fur babies, so I'll be sure to send you lots of pictures and videos while they're with me! I have a female golden retriever named Ember who loves meeting and playing with other dogs. My schedule is extremely flexible, so I can walk dogs, check in at your home, and feed your dog at all hours of the day. I generally play fetch in the fenced-in backyard or at the school close to my home, feed three times per day (or however much is needed), do some food-motivated training, and go for 1-2 walks during the day or at sunset.

“Kelly is a superb human being who is responsible in all areas of her life. She treats everyone and everything with the same respect and dignity that one would expect to receive from others. If there is anyone that would be more fitting to take care of someone's dog(s), it is Kelly! Not to mention she has a beautiful new puppy that is to die for.”

Iryna L.
“I live in Tahoe and since we love to travel, we need house and dog sitting often. Iryna was wonderful and took great care of our dog and house while we were away. Her son and daughter in law live in Tahoe so she has family nearby which is why house sitting in Tahoe is so perfect for her. Iryna is from Ukraine and is still improving her English but communication wasn’t an issue at all. It is clear she loves animals and is a calm dedicated dog sitter. We use her often and she is very available since she is retired. I would highly recommend Iryna if you want a trustworthy responsible quote house and dog sitter!”
