“Jami was a happy accident! I texted her in error and she responded so sweetly that when I looked at her profile I felt like it was meant to be. Our initial texts were easy as was setting up a meet and greet. She was as charming in person and really has an affinity with animals as my dog and cat warmed up to her immediately. Jami did a great job and really made our pets feel like a family member was with them. She texted us daily photos and she alway responded to any comment I would make. When we got home we were so pleased to have happy animals great us and the house looked barely lived in. We highly recommend Jami and hope she is free when we next travel!”

About: I am reliable and hard-working. I will love your animal while you are away so you can relax and enjoy your trip. All I need is a job from you! I am currently retired, so your schedule needs are easy. Just let me know when you need me and I will drive to you. I have nothing but time. I am currently not taking care of pets in my home. I can travel anywhere you need me to. I love exploring new areas around me.

“Delanie took care of my pup while we attended a wedding and reception in a town far from home. I found her in this town and thank goodness!! I did not have to worry about my pup! After our first meeting Taco took to her right away. I did not have to worry after that. She sent me a couple of pictures that made me feel at ease. When we came back from the wedding my pup did not act like I have been gone. He was super calm not excited like when I return from the store. To me it says he was less stressed out. I feel he had a great time with Delanie,l. She took great care of him! I highly recommend her! If I come back and need her service I will not hesitate to book her again.”

About: I have been actively caring for animals since 2020 and have found such great fulfillment through it. Your furry friend's needs come first and I always make sure everyone feels secure and happy in every visit 🥰 I am able to do overnights any day of the week. My schedule is always flexible and I will always find a way to make sure your needs are being met! For drop in visits and walks, I have more flexibility on weekends. On Mondays-Fridays, I am able to do visits after 4:30pm. With any new animal, I start off slow and let them have the opportunity to sniff or be near me without feeling pressured. I analyze the animal's behavior and pick up any cues on how they're feeling before proceeding. Building trust is very important to me and I like to build connections with the animals!

About: I’ve cared for my own dogs and cats for over 30 years and have also fostered kittens for the animal shelter that I later adopted. I am a substitute teacher during the regular school year and am otherwise a DoorDash driver. I would work my schedule around what you need. My cats stay indoors and my 2 dogs love hanging out on our front enclosed porch or lounging inside. They all get along quite well.

About: New to Rover but fully experienced with pet sitting ! I also work as a professional dog bather so I have plenty experience providing full time care to dogs ! As my line of work requires skills necessary to handle all sorts of dogs and am more than willing to handle larger dogs, senior dogs and anxious dogs (no limit to the amount of dogs you have at home). I feel that I am incredibly gentle with animals and find dogs tend to naturally bond with me. I have house-sitted for around 5 years now and am able to stay overnight to monitor your puppies ! I also have 2 dogs of my own named Selkie and Mooncake that I've trained myself so don't be suprised if your dog has learned a new trick by the time you are back ! (If you are interested in veiwing my dog bathing work my new instagram handle is @kanipuppybaths !) While I do work full time as a bather, I am able to get part-time hours so I will be able to attend to your dogs full time on the days I am pet-sitting ! I encourage reaching out to me to work through the amount of time in a day you would like me to be at your home so I can plan my schedule accordingly. :) I understand it can feel nerve wracking to trust your dogs with a pet sitter at your home, and as a trust worthy house sitter I will follow instructions as given and be sure to provide proper care to your pets. I have experience with crating, giving medications and treatment, preparing meals ect ! I will be sure to send updates and photos of your pets as often as you would like and give clear communication. You can rest at ease knowing your dogs will be safe and loved in their own home.

About: I worked in boarding so I have experience caring for all different breeds, ages, special needs, and attitudes of dogs. I also have had 6 dogs total, so I am used to the dog life! I am available anytime! I am very flexible, although afternoons and evenings would be preferred, but both weekends and weekdays are not a problem at all. I am easily accomodating of all preferences for your dogs. Any special diets or playtime schedules are welcome. Every dog is different so just let me know! My dogs get walked 3 times a day and are used to going to the park or even just running around the backyard.

About: Hello 👋 and welcome! 🐾 Though I’m new to Rover, pet sitting has actually been my very first job and to this day, at my ripe age, I’m proud to say I’m still doing what I love. What began as helping out friends and family eventually blossomed into a trusted and established side business that’s been going strong for over 20 years. It’s been a journey of love, learning, and lots of wagging tails! Over the years, I’ve cared for pets of all kinds: spunky puppies, shy cats, curious kittens, and senior pets with special needs, including blind and paralyzed dogs requiring extra care and attention. I also spent a year working at a local veterinary clinic, where I received hands on training and deepened my understanding of animal health, behavior, and emergency care. From giving medications and preparing special diets to long cuddles and playful zoomies, I provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care tailored to each animal’s needs. Whether you’re heading out of town or just need a helping hand, I’d be honored to care for your beloved pets like they’re my own. Looking forward to meeting you and your fur (or scale!) babies soon! 🐶🐱🐰🦎 Pet care is naturally built into my everyday life, it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. Since I attend college fully online, I’m home throughout the day and can give your pet constant love, supervision, and attention. I build my schedule around the pets I care for, making sure their needs come first whether that’s walks, feeding, medications, playtime, or just cozy companionship. And if I ever need to step out briefly for a grocery run, doctor's appointment, or an errand, don’t worry a member of my family is always home to continue providing care and attention. So please be assured that your pet is never left unsupervised and is always in safe, loving hands. For boarding in my home, your pet becomes part of the family! I provide a clean, cozy, and loving space where they can relax, play, and stick to their usual routine. Since I attend college online, I’m home all day to provide 24/7 care potty breaks, walks, mealtimes, playtime, cuddles, and more. If I ever need to step out, a trusted family member is always home to make sure your pet is never left alone. You'll receive daily photo and video updates so you always know how your furry friend is doing. For drop-in visits, I care for your pet right in the comfort of their own home, following their routine exactly as you prefer. Each visit includes feeding, water refills, potty breaks, playtime, and love. And yes photos and videos are sent every single visit to give you peace of mind and a smile during your day! For walks, I make sure your pup gets fresh air, safe movement, and plenty of sniff time. Whether it’s a quick potty walk or a longer stroll, I tailor the pace and distance to your dog’s energy and needs. I’ll also send photos and a little walk summary with every outing so you know how it went and how your pup is feeling.

“Heather was fantastic! We’re so grateful to have had her watch our dog Lukin! I can tell he was very comfortable with her. He usually barks at us when we return home after being away for a few days (almost like he's yelling at us). But when we returned after Heather watching, he didn't bark at all. He was calm and relaxed. The house looked great too! She also texted pictures while we were away. Thanks, Heather for watching our high-energy Entlebucher Mountain dog!!”

About: With over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, I treat every pet like family. What sets me apart is my deep understanding of each animal’s unique needs — from high-energy puppies to sweet senior companions. I'm trained in basic obedience for young dogs, experienced with medication administration, and attentive to special diets or mobility concerns. I believe communication is key, so you’ll always get photo updates and honest check-ins. Whether it’s a leisurely walk, playtime, or just comforting company, I’m here to provide consistent, loving care that keeps tails wagging and hearts happy. I'm recently retired, which means I have extra time on my hands—and I can't think of a better way to spend it than caring for your pets. My days are wide open for long beach walks, fun car rides, and even the occasional pup cup stop (a fan favorite!). Whether your pet needs mid-day playtime, a quiet companion, or a full day of adventures, I’ve got the flexibility to make it happen. My schedule is open and stress-free—just like your pet’s time with me will be! Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I create a calm, secure environment with plenty of affection, routine, and supervision—no crowded spaces or overwhelming noise. I keep a close eye on each pet’s behavior and body language to ensure they feel relaxed and understood. In my home, pets have access to clean, pet-friendly spaces, cozy rest spots, and a fenced outdoor area (or safe leash walks, if preferred). When caring for pets in your home, I respect your routines and follow your care instructions to the letter—because no one knows your pet better than you do.

“Sean did a great job with Bear and Princess. He was easy to work with, responsible and did extra things above and beyond what I had asked for. He was great with my dogs, took great care of them. I would not hesitate to recommend Sean to anyone who is looking for dog care while they are away. I will definitely request him in the future.”

“I was so happy when I got home from a long day away and found that my babies were so lovingly cared for by Laurie and Reese. Think Teddy found a great playmate with Reese, that when Laurie and Reese left he started barking at the door. My dog never barks, so I think a hi-five and honors go to this happy pair. Thanks again so much.👍”

“Kaylee was wonderful with our dog. Our dog loves everyone that comes over, but she especially loved Kaylee and was so attentive to her. I fully trust Kaylee and recommend her for anyone in the future.”

About: My first experience taking care of pets was when I had a little chihuahua at 7 years old, she lived a long beautiful life and I really enjoyed taking care of her. I then later on got a german shepherd and I adore him! I have trained and raised him because I got him as a little puppy and he is currently 4 years old. I also get asked by my moms boss to house sit and dog sit for them so I do have experience in that already and I also trained their dog to sit and shake his paw and I continue to try more tricks and obedience! Overall I am a very mellow and responsible person who enjoys getting things done in an efficient, correct, and fun way. I am also very organized and focused on cleanliness so I will always keep things tidy and neat. I'm currently a student at SBCC taking classes online and also have a part time job at Cottage Hospital as an EKG tech! Ideally I would want to have Mondays and Wednesdays for myself to focus on classes and studying, but other days I will most likely be available if I do not work but I try to keep my schedule as updated as possible. When dog sitting I usually spend the mornings with the pets and feed them while I also eat along with them and afterwards it is a brief walking time, usually around 30 minutes long. Then I give them resting time usually sitting outside with them in the backyard. Later on in the day I play with them before their next meal and then the final walk of the day. I occasionally will take them to the dog beach or park.

“Linda is a dream caregiver! She dogsat for our senior dog several times. They bonded quickly — especially impressive because he was a skittish rescue. She kept up with his meds schedule, and updated us regularly with pictures and comments. It’s always hard to leave your dog, but she made us (and him) feel comfortable.”
