Our initial texts were easy as was setting up a meet and greet. She was as charming in person and really has an affinity with animals as my dog and cat warmed up to her immediately. Jami did a great job and really made our pets feel like a family member was with them. She texted us daily photos and she alway responded to any comment I would make. When we got home we were so pleased to have happy animals great us and the house looked barely lived in. We highly recommend Jami and hope she is free when we next travel!”

About: I have been actively caring for animals since 2020 and have found such great fulfillment through it. Your furry friend's needs come first and I always make sure everyone feels secure and happy in every visit 🥰 I am able to do overnights any day of the week. My schedule is always flexible and I will always find a way to make sure your needs are being met! For drop in visits and walks, I have more flexibility on weekends. On Mondays-Fridays, I am able to do visits after 4:30pm. With any new animal, I start off slow and let them have the opportunity to sniff or be near me without feeling pressured. I analyze the animal's behavior and pick up any cues on how they're feeling before proceeding. Building trust is very important to me and I like to build connections with the animals!

About: I’ve cared for my own dogs and cats for over 30 years and have also fostered kittens for the animal shelter that I later adopted. I am a substitute teacher during the regular school year and am otherwise a DoorDash driver. I would work my schedule around what you need. My cats stay indoors and my 2 dogs love hanging out on our front enclosed porch or lounging inside. They all get along quite well.

About: New to Rover but fully experienced with pet sitting ! I also work as a professional dog bather so I have plenty experience providing full time care to dogs ! As my line of work requires skills necessary to handle all sorts of dogs and am more than willing to handle larger dogs, senior dogs and anxious dogs (no limit to the amount of dogs you have at home). I feel that I am incredibly gentle with animals and find dogs tend to naturally bond with me. I have house-sitted for around 5 years now and am able to stay overnight to monitor your puppies ! I also have 2 dogs of my own named Selkie and Mooncake that I've trained myself so don't be suprised if your dog has learned a new trick by the time you are back ! While I do work full time as a bather, I am able to get part-time hours so I will be able to attend to your dogs full time on the days I am pet-sitting ! I encourage reaching out to me to work through the amount of time in a day you would like me to be at your home so I can plan my schedule accordingly. :) I understand it can feel nerve wracking to trust your dogs with a pet sitter at your home, and as a trust worthy house sitter I will follow instructions as given and be sure to provide proper care to your pets. I have experience with crating, giving medications and treatment, preparing meals ect ! I will be sure to send updates and photos of your pets as often as you would like and give clear communication. You can rest at ease knowing your dogs will be safe and loved in their own home.

About: I worked in boarding so I have experience caring for all different breeds, ages, special needs, and attitudes of dogs. I also have had 6 dogs total, so I am used to the dog life! I am available anytime! I am very flexible, although afternoons and evenings would be preferred, but both weekends and weekdays are not a problem at all. I am easily accomodating of all preferences for your dogs. Any special diets or playtime schedules are welcome. Every dog is different so just let me know! My dogs get walked 3 times a day and are used to going to the park or even just running around the backyard.

About: Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe and groom their pets. I help out in a pet grooming business, and have learned a lot from it. I have pets of my own and have been trusted to care for pets when my family members are physically unable to or are away. I will be open for the weekends during school days and open for all days of summer during school breaks. I will be in contact everyday to make arrangements for the following weekend. I have a fenced back yard and an open front yard for dogs to run around at one house and a cozy home for older fur babies who enjoy a good quite nap. For smaller animals like cats we have plenty of snuggles. I will ask for a list of foods and snacks your animals can have during long stays and meet and greets. Water will always be provided and available. I will also ask for any medical care that needs to be attended to for those fur babies who get that extra love. About: My first experience taking care of pets was when I had a little chihuahua at 7 years old, she lived a long beautiful life and I really enjoyed taking care of her. I then later on got a german shepherd and I adore him! I have trained and raised him because I got him as a little puppy and he is currently 4 years old. I also get asked by my moms boss to house sit and dog sit for them so I do have experience in that already and I also trained their dog to sit and shake his paw and I continue to try more tricks and obedience! Overall I am a very mellow and responsible person who enjoys getting things done in an efficient, correct, and fun way. I am also very organized and focused on cleanliness so I will always keep things tidy and neat. I'm currently a student at SBCC taking classes online and also have a part time job at Cottage Hospital as an EKG tech! Ideally I would want to have Mondays and Wednesdays for myself to focus on classes and studying, but other days I will most likely be available if I do not work but I try to keep my schedule as updated as possible. When dog sitting I usually spend the mornings with the pets and feed them while I also eat along with them and afterwards it is a brief walking time, usually around 30 minutes long. Then I give them resting time usually sitting outside with them in the backyard. Later on in the day I play with them before their next meal and then the final walk of the day. I occasionally will take them to the dog beach or park.

About: I have taken care of my cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. I am comfortable with most small to medium breed dogs but open to taking care of bigger dogs as I get more experience. I am the person to call if you need your pet dropped in on, feed, watered, walked, or just to have some company. I currently am taking care of my own pets as a passion of mine; I have four cats and one dog. My cats are named Roxie (18 years old), Vader (12 years old), Nova (2 years old) & Peach (1 years old). My dog is named Penny (1 years old) and she is a chug, chihuahua pug mix! I have a lot of free time in order to take care of pets and I love being around animals. If and when I offend a in house service, I live in a tight net community which prevents your pet from running lose throughout Lompoc as well as a dog park on site where we need have fun and enjoy the sun!
