About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life and currently have two! I have been relied on by friends and family as a petsitter for about four years. I am comfortable and have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and needs; one of my dogs is a 110 pound Bernese, and I have petsit multiple times for a senior diabetic dog who required insulin shots. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, or just keeping your pet company, I treat every animal like they’re part of the family. Right now, I’m fully available and committed to making pet care a priority. Since I’m not currently working another job, I have the flexibility to build my schedule around the needs of the pets I’m caring for. Whether that means early morning walks, midday check-ins, or overnight stays, I’m able to give each pet the time and attention they deserve. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and safe while you’re away. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, get plenty of playtime and attention, and go on walks or get bathroom breaks as needed. I also keep the home tidy, respect your space, and always communicate with updates and photos so you know your pet is in good hands.

About: I have lots of experience with caring for dogs . I participated in 4-H while in high school. I was also involved in basic showing for hand signals. I enjoyed raising 2 Labs and 3 Beagles. Most of my experience has been with small to med dogs. I also have experience with basic dog training using bells for toileting, sit, stay, roll over and come. My basic training involves using hand signals. I have lots of patience and love dogs with different personalities. I have lots of experience handling dogs from 1-13 yrs along with administering oral medication. My Preference 15-60 pounds your dog needs to be comfortable with harness, collar and retractable leash. Must have good social skills if they were to be around other dogs . I’m currently in between jobs. I have flexible time and miss not having a dog as a pet . I’m available 3-5 days a week. I’m also interested in house sitting with your dog if needed . I’m very active skiing , hiking , running and biking . I live a very healthy life style . I currently walk and house sit an 1 yr old Chocolate lab. Working on basic commands with hand signals and potty training using bells. I have a small yard . I live near Whatcom falls . About: I've had dogs my whole life. I currently dog sit for my daughter's dog (a 2 year old golden retriever) and I would love to walk and/or take care of your dogs too! About: I've been an animal person my entire life. When I was in grad school at Western several years ago, I worked part-time for a local pet-sitting business, The Placid Pet, where I enjoyed four wonderful years of looking after client dogs and cats. Currently, I am a full-time writer seeking healthy activities to supplement the hours I spend in front of a computer. What better way to get that activity than to hang out with awesome dogs and provide my fellow Bellinghamsters with the peace of mind that comes with knowing your furry family member is happy and well taken care of? As a former college athlete and life-long hiker, I'm in good shape for whatever activity your dog needs. I'm available for short or long walks in your neighborhood or at a nearby park or trail of your choosing, and I'm also happy to stop in and snuggle with your anxious pet for as long as he or she needs. I've taken an animal CPR training course in the past and plan a refresher course in the near future. Your dog's health and well-being is of utmost importance to me, and as a former professional dog walker, I have the skills and experience to keep your pet safe and happy during my visits. As a writer, my time is flexible, so I can be available in the mornings, at lunch, or in the early afternoon on a regular basis. I coach soccer on the weekends, but an occasional Sunday visit might be possible as needed. I am experienced entering client homes to render service, and as someone who has lived with escape-artist pets, I am also accustomed to entering homes carefully to make sure even the wiliest of pets doesn't escape. My car has a dog gate in back so that your pet can travel safely, should you choose for me to take them to a park or trail.

About: Even though I am studying Marine Biology I have a passion for all animals. From dogs and cats to rats and reptiles, even insects and arachnids. When my family got our puppy and COVID gifted us with 4 cats I deep dove into animal body language, boundaries, training, needs, and a variety of other things. I also have some experience with newborn kitten care when they don't have a mom to provide. I have helped with thepittieprojectpnw (which is an amazing nonprofit that focuses on rescuing pit bulls on death row or has come from a bad situation to give them a second chance. So I've dealt with reactive dogs, that are not comfortable around other dogs/humans and are traumatized/healing from an experience. I also have some experience with dogs with health problems. One of my dogs has EPI and the other has diabetes. Just with humans, I believe its crucial to learn about animal's emotional, physical, and health needs. Pets or not. I work part time as a lifeguard, my schedule changes every 3 months or so but otherwise it’s consistent weekly, the longest days I work are 5 hours. I mainly work on weekends but can always coordinate with you if you need someone for the weekend. I find it important to know the boundaries and needs of animals and to know when to back off and just let them be. (within reason). I am careful with what and who pets interact with. I like to slowly introduce myself and let them come to me. I am also very careful about what has been left out/what a pet could get into and ingest.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old and I have had two cats since 2008. Friends have also often asked me to take care of their pets when they are out of town. I am currently working part-time while also working on my PhD dissertation, so I am able to to accommodate a number of possible schedules and visits. I live in a neighborhood with many sidewalks and trails along with there being two parks within just a few minutes walk, all of which make walking a breeze. I also have a number of cat toys and scratchers.

About: Years ago my Mother gave me a card. It said, “The more I know men the more I love my dog.” My family has always had dogs and cats too. Once having a discussion with my guy he said, “even the dog ranks higher than me!” A dog is more than a pet. They are a companion who loves unconditionally. Who is ready to play or not. Will always listen and never rejects a belly rub. I genuinely prefer canines over people. Recently read the book “Dog Sense.” There is so much more about these wonderful creatures that it should be required reading before anyone takes on the responsibility of owning a companion.
