“Geneva and family did a great job with taking care of Chloey. They were very flexible with the time change I requested and Chloey loved all of their furry family. Would definitely book them again if I am ever in the area.”
“Terri is an awesome lady. Yeti & I think she hung the moon. Yeti & I went over last night & met Terri & her fur team & we left there so excited about our Doggy Day Care time today. Yeti was there early this morning & stayed all day. I am absolutely sure he had a blast with all of them & the new experience. I received pictures of my little man playing & being very adventurous & I received a report on what all he did. It was so awesome & very comforting. He barely made it home before falling asleep. Yeti will be going back to play with Terri, LeRoy, Dex, Gator & Big Red. What a wonderful team. ???”

About: Over 6 years of experience caring for dogs, big, small etc. All services are available. CPR certified and have knowledge when it comes to dog medication. Have experience with puppy and training as well. I am a stay at home mom who is also currently pursing my bachelors degree in criminal justice. Pet care helps with my daily exercise when it comes to walking the dogs. I have a fenced in backyard, there is enough space for them and a park near by to be walked multiple times a day if needed. I do not cage any dogs and allow the dogs on my furniture. I do have a 10 year old, 3 yr old, 2 yr old and a 6 month old home but they get along with all my clients dogs and our own dogs so you will never have to worry about your dog and them crossing paths in a bad way.

“I couldn't be happier with the service provided! She was incredibly attentive to my Dallas’s needs and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and happy. I received regular updates, including photos and videos, which gave me peace of mind knowing my fur baby was in good hands. My dog, who can be a bit anxious around new people, warmed up to them immediately and seemed to have a blast during their time together. I highly recommend Sherry to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and loving dogsitter. She is now my go-to whenever I need someone to care for my dog. Thank you for the excellent service!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 15 years of hands-on pet care experience. Throughout the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with animal shelters, rescues, and pet conventions, giving me experience caring for pets of all ages, personalities, and needs. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, a little shy, or just loves a good cuddle, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every dog and cat as if they were my own, paying close attention to their routines, preferences, and well-being. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your best friend, and I’m committed to providing reliable communication, plenty of updates, and compassionate care every step of the way. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day instead of leaving them alone for long periods. I have two large dogs and a very spoiled (and admittedly stinky!) kitty of my own, so caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life. We also make a trip to the dog park every day for an hour or two, so walks, playtime, and exercise are already built into my schedule. While I live in a townhome without a traditional backyard, I do have a fully fenced garage with AstroTurf that provides a safe, secure space for dogs to play, stretch their legs, and get some fresh air between walks. Every pet is different, so I tailor their care to what they’re comfortable with. I will never take your dog to the dog park without your permission. If you’d prefer they stay home, have private walks, or follow a specific exercise routine, I’m happy to accommodate. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and as close to their normal routine as possible while they’re in my care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any medications or special instructions so I can keep their stay as familiar and stress-free as possible. Because I work from home, pets are rarely left alone and receive plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. My home is a calm, pet-friendly environment where dogs can relax just like they would at home. I also have a secure, fenced garage with AstroTurf that provides a safe space for supervised play between walks. I understand that every dog has different needs, so I adjust my care to match their personality and your preferences. Whether your dog loves to play, prefers quiet naps, or needs a slower pace, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Dog park visits are only offered with your permission. I’m just as happy to provide private walks and one-on-one playtime instead. I’ll also keep you updated throughout your pet’s stay with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. My goal is for every pet to feel like they’re staying with family, not just a sitter.

About: I grew up with one dog in my house and have house/pet sit for family and friends. When I was getting my degree I worked at PetSmart in the Doggie Day Care. I’m a teacher and home more in the summer! I’m a teacher and will be home the majority of the day during the summer! Growing up my family dog’s routine was walks twice a day, feed twice a day, and given medication. I have a fenced in yard for your dog(s) to run around, sidewalks in my neighborhood to walk, and room to crate your dog(s) if thats what they need to feel comfortable. I currently don’t have a dog so they would have all the pets and snuggles!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 590 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Valley View. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Valley View commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
