“Debra did a could drop-in visits on my kitties while my boyfriend and I were away for a few days. She met with us beforehand to chat and see where everything was. She was very warm and friendly, and she came by exactly when she said she would on those drop-in days. Their food and water were topped off when we got home and litter was all cleaned. They were well taken care of- thanks Debra!!”

About: Hi! My name is Ebony, and I’m a college student pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and currently have a dog of my own, so caring for animals isn’t just a job… it’s my passion. With my background, I’m comfortable administering oral medications, recognizing changes in behavior, and responding appropriately in emergency situations. Cleanliness and organization are very important to me, and I always make sure your home and your pet’s space are left tidy. I am more than happy to provide regular updates and photos, so you always know how your fur baby is doing while you’re away. ❤️ While I attend school full-time , my availability outside of classes is fully dedicated to your pet’s care. I currently offer in-home sitting and walking services so your pet can stay in their familiar environment and maintain their daily routine. I understand how important patience, consistency, and compassion are when it comes to building trust with both pets and their owners. I strictly follow all provided feeding schedules, dietary needs, medication instructions, and routines to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and stress-free in their own home. Thank you for considering me as your sitter ❣️
“Janet always does an amazing job. This visit was last minute and she dropped everything and changed the dates. We also had complex instructions for our rabbit which she followed flawlessly. Highly recommend!”

About: I've always been around dogs, cats, kittens, or puppies. Since I was young, we've had some kind of furry animal. The litters of puppies and kittens were always my favorite. They became part of my heart. My favorite past time activity as a kid was playing outside with the pets. I'm a full time student, but after class I am available to make sure the pets I care for get lots of love and attention. My pets have a lot of space outside and are really simple to take care of. I love the routine we've built. With my clients, I made sure to keep the pets well fed and always having water. As well as keeping them active.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I grew up with a German Shephard then my family got a small maltise/bishon when I was a teenager. My family currently has a 5 year old German Shephard (Jax) and a 6 year old cat (Scout). I have two teenagers that also share the same love for animals. Jax is very friendly and gets along with other dogs but he is big. I am available for dog walking, check ins or boarding. Please reach out if you have any questions. I will treat your pet like they are my own! I currently work from home Mon-Fri and am available to take short walks throughout the day or go out for potty breaks as needed. I don’t have a fence at this time but we are getting one this summer. I will take your pet out on a leash until then.
“We had a wonderful experience with Elinor as our cat sitter! She was a great communicator from our initial request through her very last visit, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away on an extended trip. Our cats don't always come out for strangers, so we were especially happy to see that they warmed up to her enough to come out for treats and even play with her during some of her visits. She sent us cute photos and thoughtful updates each day, which we really appreciated and loved seeing while we were away. Our flight home was unexpectedly delayed, and she was incredibly flexible about adding an extra day with the girls. It was such a relief knowing they were in good hands. We would definitely use her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative pet sitter!”

About: I currently have a Labrador Retriever and a cat, and before them I raised a golden retriever who lived to 11. I’m close to the MetroParks, so even without a fenced yard there’s plenty of opportunity for long walks and fresh air. I believe a calm dog is a happy, well‑behaved dog, and I make sure every pup gets the exercise and attention they need. I know it can be stressful leaving your dog in a new environment. My goal is to put your mind at ease so you can fully enjoy your vacation or event. I’ll send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pup is doing. I’m dedicated to making animals feel at home—just like I hope for my own pets when I’m away. I work from home three days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks and attention throughout the day when the weather is nice. I’m also home on weekends, so your pets will have consistent company and care. I have a friendly dog and cat to keep your fur baby company. I can crate your dog easily if needed. I am in an apartment, but there’s convenient side walks and paths for taking bathroom breaks multiple times per day.
“Roxanne is wonderful! She was very communicative and prompt, and did exactly what she said she would do with our dog. We absolutely trust her and will use her again. We highly recommend her :-)”

About: When it’s time to go outside it’s time. Clean up areas where the pet(s) have pooped @. Please make sure they are trained with handling strangers. Thank you ! Currently, I am currently Unemployed. I have a lot of time for pet care services. Just a American putting effort in the American Dream for myself. Since I will take them out to poop, pee & food I’m going to be diligent on that note ! Close & lock doors is a must !
About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. Since 2008, I've volunteered at a local animal shelter, walking dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I've also provided trusted dog sitting for family and friends over the years, treating every pet like they're part of my own family. I'm passionate about animal welfare and believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and lots of love. Whether it's a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care, I'll make sure your furry family member feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I have a fenced-in yard and two friendly dogs who are very calm to keep your pup company also. My husband works from home and I too am home mostly. It will be very rare when your pup is left alone in our house and if it is the case I am comfortable crating or leaving your pup to have the run of the house if that is what you would prefer. I have a neighborhood filled with sidewalks where many, many dogs walk so the sniffing is a must! I have a fenced-in yard and two friendly dogs who are very calm to keep your pup company also. “Kendra was absolutely fabulous looking after our two cats while we were gone for 5 days. Considering one of our cats is super shy and hides very well when strangers are in the house, she took to time to find him and make sure he ate. Having her here to pop in and feed and check on them allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying how they were doing. Cannot recommend Kendra enough and we will absolutely be choosing her to look after them again during our next trip!”

“My dogs absolutely love Jesseca! She is amazing!! She even brought my mail/packages in the house because she knew we were out of town. I will continue to have her take care of my babies.”

About: My dogs are like my kids! I will treat yours just the same!! I have plenty of awesome references as needed of furry friends I have taken care of in my home and who I have taken care of by letting the doggies out at others homes as well. Any questions just let me know! Thank you for your time. Have a great day! I’m currently working part time and have the extra to walk , run and play with your pets! Older dogs just need some check up I’m good with that too.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Valley View
Roxanne did an amazing, loving and caring job. She let me know how my 4 cats were doing. Made sure to find my senior girl to make sure she was ok. She took great care of them and made it stress free for me in leaving them. I highly recommend Roxanne, you will be glad you did!

Kendra did a great job taking care of our cats. And she stepped up to do it at the last minute since we had to leave town for a funeral. She was very pleasant and when we came home to collect the keys from her, the cats were there to greet her. Would recommend for anyone who needs a pet sitter. She loves animals.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
