“Anita took great care of my puppy Kaia. She provided maybe updates throughout the day. She was very accommodating to my drop off time and my schedule. She has a very nice place for the dog and a great sized fenced backyard. The best part about my puppy going with Anita is that she even did some training with her. I highly recommend her for all her services on rover. I look forward to booking more daycare appointments in the future.”

We’re definitely planning to book with her again!”

About: My husband and I both grew up with pets and are very familiar with the care that they require. Over the past 10 years, we have opened our home to pet-sitting for friends and family while they are out of town. So far, we have cared for dogs, birds, and guinea pigs. We don't have any pets of our own, so our family loves the opportunity to care for other people's animals. I am a stay-at-home mom and caring for your pet will fit perfectly with caring for our kids! (They have similar needs, don't they? ;) ) Besides a few commitments I have throughout the week and getting our three kids off to school or their activities - I am generally home, ready to love on your fur baby! We have a fully fenced in back yard to keep your dog safe during potty breaks and while they run around. We live in a quiet neighborhood on a cul-de-sac and frequently go on walks with our kids (often to the nearby interurban trail) and we would love to have your dog join us! We have plenty of indoor space for your pet to make themselves at home in too, including safe spaces to put a cage/kennel if needed. Although we don't have pets of our own, our kids (ages 8, 6 and 4) have had plenty of experience caring for them and are very gentle and trustworthy around them.

About: I have had animals my entire life and they are my passion. I am also very passionate about training and have spent countless hours learning the latest techniques and tricks. I have worked in the animal field for the last 6 years. The past 5 as a triage nurse at a large specialty and emergency hospital. I am the one many of the doctors I work with go to for their pet sitting needs. Working in emergency has prepared me to take on all kinds of unique challenges. I love being able to use my experience to assure owners that their fur babies are in good hands. With my special interest in training I'm never one to shy away from reactive dogs or any other behavioral concerns. I am fear free certified and currently enrolled to get my KPA CTP certificate. Feel free to reach out for behavior consultations aswell. I have a special interest in working breeds, I know they have very specific that need to be fulfilled and I am familiar with igp and other bite sports. I have a Belgian malinois/German shepherd myself so have personal as well as professional experience handling the pointy-bitey breeds (they're actually my favorite) I work sun-monday but most of the time I bring the dogs I'm sitting with me to work. We have a reception team that acts as a doggy daycare and they are always loving on everyone. Some dogs dont like going and prefer being homebodies, which is also wonderful! In that case I will stop by on my lunch break At work, I do my best to make every visit as positive as possible. Meeting the pets where they're comfortable and going at their pace. As an ER tech I'm trained to recognize signs of distress and illness and determine the severity of such to determine level of care needed. As well as having extensive experience handling special needs pets both my own as well as my patients. And both medically and behavioral special needs.

About: I have 6 years of experience caring for cats and dogs. I’ve helped family and neighbors by walking, feeding, and playing with their pets, always making sure they feel loved and safe. These experiences have taught me patience, responsibility, and how to manage care on my own. I truly enjoy caring for animals and treat every pet like family. Here is my code to have a $20 off for your first booking with Rover: https://www.rover.com/sit/yusufy91172 As I work from my home, my daily and weekly routine is incredibly flexible and centered around the needs of the pets in my care. This unique arrangement allows me to offer round-the-clock availability for playtime, feeding, walks, and any special needs. Your pet will never be left alone for extended periods, guaranteeing consistent companionship, timely attention, and a secure, comfortable environment throughout their stay. My yard is fenced and secure. It’s a space where pets can play comfortably. I also have my own dog, who gets along well with other animals. While pets stay in my home, I provide attention, playtime, and a safe environment. If necessary, I can safely place your dog in a separate room . I pay close attention to cleanliness, order, and the comfort of the animals.

“Wonderful experience! You can tell they love our pets. Always gave clear reports at the end of the day and pics too. Will be adding Emily to our list of go-to peeps.”

About: I've worked at the Seattle Animal Shelter (learning to understand dogs' behaviors and needs), and have had GREAT dogs most of my life. I lost my furry best friend last year to cancer, and needed to take some time off. I work from home, just bought a great new place (with lots of fun places for dogs to enjoy). I'm looking to do Rover and take great care of your dog(s) before I jump back into dog ownership. Happy to answer any questions you have. Owning a company gives me the most flexible schedule possible. In fact, I'm "training myself" to get ready for semi-retirement, and would like to spend more time doing things I love (caretaking dogs is one of those things), so your pup(s) will get plenty of attention. My house is dog-proofed, and a new fence was just built around our great outdoor space (Plenty of room for dogs to excersise and potty).

About: As a proud owner of two dogs and three cats, I have firsthand experience in caring for a variety of pets. My daily routine includes feeding, grooming, and ensuring their overall well-being. I’ve also completed training with my dogs, focusing on obedience and behavior management. This has given me a deep understanding of animal behavior and the patience needed to handle pets with different temperaments. My personal experience with my own pets means I know how important it is to provide attentive and loving care. As a remote worker, my flexible schedule allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I can easily adjust my work hours to accommodate walks, feeding times, and any special needs your pet may have. Working from home means I’m always nearby, ensuring that your pet gets the attention and care they deserve throughout the day. I treat every pet like a member of the family, whether they’re in my home or yours. Safety is my top priority, and I always follow your specific instructions while respecting your pet’s cues and comfort levels. My home is a clean, pet-friendly environment with a secure fenced yard where pets can safely play and exercise. I also have the ability to keep pets separate if needed to ensure their well-being. When caring for pets in your home, I respect your space and routines, making sure your pet feels secure and at ease. Trust and communication are key, so I’m always available to provide updates and address any concerns.

Sarah & Matt S.
“We have known Matt and Sarah for many, many years to be probably the most conscientious and caring people we know, ...seriously. I myself have a pet and often trust them for care when we are away for an extended period, and they've never disappointed. I sometimes almost feel guilty bringing my pet home again, thinking he may be getting more attention with Sarah's family! They are certainly someone we can depend on and I'm sure anyone knowing them would feel the same.”

Elizabeth B.
“I think that Elizabeth would be an amazing dog sitter. She is very good with all kinds of pets including dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, fish, and much more. She is very responsible when it comes to taking care of animals. She loves to interact with all kinds of animals and gets excited anytime she meets someones pet. I have seen the way she has taken care of her pets especially her dogs, if I need someone to watch my dog I would definitely pick her to do it. -Kaylee E”

Valley View dog parents share their Rover experiences
Akansha and her husband did a wonderful job with our pup (Archie)! We booked them for day care while I was out of town as I provide most of our dog’ care since my husband is gone 11+hrs a day for work. He is very anxious and does much better not being left alone for extended periods. We had her pick up and drop him off and it was a smooth process. She did great providing updates and communicating with us! Archie came back a happy boy. We would definitely recommend her to others and have her booked for future services as well!

Katie took great care of my Dulce, she was soo great with sending me updates and helping me on this new journey as a dog mom. She took care of my 12 week old puppy like her own. I have found a second mom for my little girl, with summer it has been challenging to go between my son and I watching her and work, and she has helped our family in the best way, with caring for her. I”m 100 percent happy with her care and will be having her take of my little girl again a the end of August.
