“I would like to start by saying, in general I am a skeptical person who does not trust people with my dog because like others, my dog is my child. With that being said, I needed a dog sitter short notice while I went on a family vacation to Africa and prior arrangements fell through. Hesitant, I knew that a sitter would be best for me because I didn’t like the idea of boarding him at a facility. My dog weighs 4 lbs and is still a puppy, he seeks love and companionship. While scrolling through Rover I found Diane and I am happy I did. She was amazing in every aspect. She kept me posted about my dog with text, videos, and pictures several times throughout the day. She gave him sooooo much love and affection, responded fast and answered any questions I might have. She was very accommodating to me and Kobe. She treated him like he was her dog. One story that really shows her character: I rescued a kitten off the side of a highway, but at the time, my home was under renovation and I couldn’t take him in right away. Robin didn’t think twice—she offered to care for him until I was ready. During those few months, she not only gave him a safe and loving home, but also helped socialize and train him. When I finally brought him home, he was well-adjusted and happy, thanks to the love and care he received from her and her own pets. Robin truly has a heart of gold, especially when it comes to animals. I can’t express how grateful I am to have someone like her in my life and in my pets’ lives.”

“Finding Leidy was such a blessing. Her first message after I sent the request through Rover started with “Good Evening … “. That somehow assured me and made me wish that everything works out and I can book Leidy. So when she agreed and the timings worked out for her, it felt like Mano and Mao would be in a good place for the 4 days. While I was so emotional during the drop off, setting everything up in her basement and explaining everything felt right. My cats are very well-behaved but they take a long time building trust so I already knew they would mostly be underneath the sofa and bed. Leidy did her best and let them be. They would come out of their hiding spots to eat and that was reassuring that they were eating and using the bathroom despite the change of environment. Overall, it was nice conversing with Leidy through the messages and through the pictures she would share. I am grateful that our first time of passing on care for Mano and Mao was with Leidy. If I ever come across an emergency again or get to know of someone who needs a sitter, I will surely think of Leidy to contact. Thank you Leidy!”
