I have extensive experience looking after pets while their owners travel, sometimes staying for a month at a time. About: I am a recent graduate from Auburn University with a bachelors degree in Animal Science/ Pre-Vet and a minor in Poultry Science. I have personally had family dogs ever since I was a child. I have taken care of pets professionally since I was 15 when I worked at a groomers/ boarding facility. I have knowledgeable experience from my time working in an animal clinic. I have over 2,000 hours shadowing and working for a veterinarian. During this time I walked, fed, medicated, and assisted the veterinarian during various tasks. About: I have experience comforting and caring for high-strung dogs and am good at bonding with dogs that are weary of humans. I love animals and care for each one I meet as if they were my own. I’m starting part time college in the fall so my schedule is very flexible aside from afternoons on Mondays and mornings on Wednesdays. I’m available for boarding any day of the week. I have two friendly cats at home that love to play and cuddle together and I know they would enjoy making new friends. Not to worry though! If your pet isn’t good with cats I am able to keep them safely separated. My yard is not fenced but I love to hike daily so your dog will have no shortage of adventures.

About: Hi! My name is Sammi and I have 12+ years of taking care of all varieties of animals. I currently own 2 dogs (1 aussie and 1 recently rescued great pyreneese) , 2 cats, 4 horses and 2 reptiles of my own. I have worked with rescues, shelters and non-profits in the past so I am skilled in caring for animals with all kinds of needs. I also work from home with a flexible schedule so I am able to accommodate special requests and special needs animals during the week for those that need more attention. I currently walk my own dogs a mile or two every other day, with them being walked on the property every 4 hours for exercise. I currently do not have a fenced in yard, but have multiple tether setups and/or long line leashes to walk dogs on and let them roam a bit while controlled. My 2 dogs are males who are friendly with others and love to play outside in the backyard. Since I am home during the day, all animals get lots of cuddles in my house (allowed on furniture) and constant interaction of bones, toys, tug of war, toys etc. I do have separate areas that dogs can be crated in alone if preferred. I do also have 2 cats that are dog friendly but have their own room they can be closed off in if needed.

About: I can’t remember a time in my life I haven’t had at least 4 or 5 dogs around me. My family calls me a dog whisperer. Me and dogs just.. understand each other… I think they read the “grandparent” energy I have for them! Every dog loves me because I take care of them and listen to them. I have a beautiful 5 acres and the house for them to stay in and also a 1,200 square foot air conditioned clean garage for them to play in as well as a good yard and a perfect place to walk them if anyone likes their dogs to have extra walks. Fence climbing dogs should not come here because there is a fast road adjacent to the slower road that I live on. When I leave to run errands I will sequester my cats in another room from the dogs. I go with the flow, and understand every animal will behave differently so please let me know if your baby has any special needs or habits!
