About: I have years of experience dog sitting through TrustedHousesitters, where I’ve cared for pets with different personalities, sizes, and needs. I also spent a summer volunteering at a local animal shelter, which gave me experience working with animals of all shapes and sizes. I have dogs and a cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets. I follow their normal routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I know every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I adjust my care to fit their needs. Some pets want lots of playtime and attention, while others prefer a calmer environment and space. I also make sure owners stay updated with pictures and messages so they can feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while they’re away. I also tend to stay very close to the house. I like to stay with the animals.

I have a variety of animal experience, I grew up on an Indiana farm caring for many animals. I worked at Petsmart as a dog groomer for 2 years, so I can trim/grind nails and bathe your dog :) I also worked at a veterinary hospital for 2 semesters. I'm currently in graduate school going for Master's of Biology. My classes are online so I have a very flexible, open schedule! Dog walking and sitting will help fund my schooling. I fostered with Montgomery County Animal Shelter for roughly 4 years and I'm used to administering both oral and injected medication and am familiar with many different health issues. I have been pet sitting off and on since 2005 as, I have a good client base but I'm looking to expand my business. I love dogs and cats....we speak each other's language! Its a joy to be able to care for other's furbabies while I'm out running errands, in between work schedules or even just enjoying the day. Being with the animals is a joy and not a just a job. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
