About: Luxury Pet Sitting in Florence, AZ. As a lifelong animal lover and experienced caregiver, I understand that every pet has unique needs and deserves individualized attention. What sets me apart is my combination of reliability, patience, and genuine affection for animals of all ages and personalities. I have extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, and other household pets, including senior animals that require extra patience, medication reminders, slower-paced walks, and special attention. I am attentive to routines, feeding schedules, exercise needs, and behavioral cues, helping pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. As someone who has spent years caring for others both professionally and personally, I bring a calm, nurturing presence that pets naturally respond to. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a trusted companion nearby, I tailor my care to their individual personality and needs. My goal is to provide not just pet sitting, but peace of mind—treating every pet as if they were my own and ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is my life and I will be sure to provide a safe loving home, here in my pet friendly house or at yours. I have a fenced yard and pet safe plants in the back yard, with a doggy door for your baby to come and go as they need, I also have a very loving spayed female dog who loves other dogs to come over and hang out and play together.
“Julie has a great environment for your pet to play relax and enjoy in. She was very kind and attentive to both of my golden retrievers and thoroughly enjoyed playing with her dog penny. I will definitely use her services again and feel very confident in leaving my dogs with her and in good care thank you again, Julie!”

“We are so happy with Kerri and Clint. Our dogs have never been left before with anyone. One was bashful but our poodle fit right in and enjoyed playing with the other dogs. If we are in the area again we will surely contact Rover and set up with Kerri and Clint.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who’s never known life without a furry friend. I’ve had dogs my entire life—from tiny lap dogs to big, lovable giants—so I’m comfortable with pups of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Whether your dog loves long walks, belly rubs, playtime in the backyard, or just relaxing on the couch, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I know every dog is unique, and I enjoy getting to know their individual quirks. You can count on me to provide plenty of attention, affection, and updates while you’re away, so you’ll have peace of mind knowing your best friend is in good hands. I can’t wait to meet your pup and spoil them like one of my own! I work from home so I am always home. It is a very rare occasion that I am not home and I would never have to leave for more than an hour. I have a fenced yard that is landscaped, dog safe, and an in ground pool that is fenced off from the rest of the yard. We do allow dogs in our pool if your pup is an experienced swimmer, I am happy to do supervised swim time. My husband and our 8 year old will be home at times but I am primary caregiver and always supervising.
About: Added Note: I live out in a rural area of Florence. I am happy to work out a halfway point for meeting or possibly pickup/drop-off for your dog if my location is too far of a drive. I’ve had dogs my whole life. I currently own 3, a husky mix, a chihuahua, and a chihuahua mix. They are my babies. I’ve also been a foster mom to several puppies while they waited for future homes. I’ve house-trained puppies and cared for senior doggies with their different medical routines. I am a teacher so I have school breaks off and love to watch people’s fur babies while I’m not working at school. I can do around-the-clock care during these times and take extra good care of the dogs. I am a very attentive pet parent. I have a big backyard that is accessed by doggie door so they can do their business whatever or enjoy the sunshine. I feed twice a day and can do more as needed. I have cameras in my home in case I ever need to go out for a bit but would likely try to stay home while watching a dog for someone else. Dogs will always have toys and my 3 very friendly dogs to play with. They will all be fed together and I would be attentive to a guest dog’s eating habits since they are in a new environment.

“I was so nervous leaving my pup to a stranger but I couldn’t be any more happy with James and his family watching over my pup! My pup is so attached to me and is picky with the people he interacts with but he was so happy and calm when I got him back. I received constant updates on how he was doing and a lot of pictures, which I was happy with. Definitely making them my regular go-to-fam to watch my pup!:) Thank you again for watching Prince Jameson, see you soon!”
“Natalie and Ricardo were wonderful with our cats! Everything went exactly as planned, and they also took amazing photos of our cats, which we really appreciated. It gave us peace of mind knowing our cats were in such good hands. We highly recommend them and would happily book with them again!”

“Melissa and her family took great care of our 1st-timers! They were clearly well-cared for and even received a mini spa day while they were there for the day. We would definitely visit them again!”

“This was our first time using Rover and we were very pleased with Kelly and Kris! Their dog was so sweet and gentle and got along very well with my girl. They provided pictures and updates, and were very responsive!”

“Rain (my puppy) loved her time with cambia and her amazing family! She’s a ball of energy and came home tired so I know she was well taken care of! She got so excited every time we would come to there front door! I enjoyed the pictures and the amazing communication! I truly thank you and would definitely bring my pup back ?”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and they have always brought me joy. I volunteer in rescue and have experience with special needs animals as well. I have fostered dogs and cats for multiple rescues and county shelters, saving them from being euthanized. I work part time and am home often. On the weekends when I do work, my husband is home. I am home every evening and morning. I have a fenced, big, grassy backyard. I also have lots of big comfy beds inside to relax on. I have my own friendly dogs, but can separate if necessary with kennels.
“Victoria and Randy are very nice. They communicated through the day as to how he was doing, including pictures. I can always tell if it went well. When we arrived to pick him up, he was happy to see us but immediatly turned and would have gone back in their house. They had him all ready for us when we arrived, wiped down and leashed up. I will definitely use them again.”

“Pamela was absolutely amazing with our dog and made the entire experience stress-free. She was very responsive, kept us updated with messages and photos, and made us feel completely comfortable leaving our dog in her care. It was obvious our dog was well cared for and happy the whole time. We would absolutely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

I’m excited to meet your pets and give them the same attention that I give my own sweet fur babies. I do work full time from home so I’m here all day with them. Looking forward to hearing from you! I am currently working full time from home, but I’m available for drop ins at your home after 4 pm and weekends and I can keep your sweet babies at my home and they will be treated as my own. Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 459 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Valley Farms. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Valley Farms commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 459 sitters in Valley Farms, 90% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
