Cats, dogs, birds, ferrets gerbils and as an adult horses cows chickens although I'm assuming you're not going to be dropping off any of those I am pretty much home anytime and available to watch animals day or night. About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from a local rescue. I recently earned a degree in animal science and have plans to attend veterinary school. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! I take my dog for two walks a day, a shorter 10-15 minute walk in the morning, and longer 30-45 minute walk after work in the afternoon. On days I am not working, I go on multiple short walks a day. There are paths I walk for both off-leash and on-leash walking. Typical available days are T-F. Weekends vary. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied. About: We've been taking care of select dogs for many years for friends and family, knowing that dog owners tend to worry about their pets when they're away and want someone who understands that and will care for their pets as they would. we've always had dogs until recently, I also photograph dogs for fun. We often board a dog who has seizures and requires medication and have watched other unusual dogs including puppies and dogs still healing from surgery. For many years we volunteered at the local humane society. We have a fenced in yard that our late beagle mix of 18 years regularly tried to escape and repeatedly failed. Dogs in our home are considered guests and are treated as such. I currently work from home, so letting dogs out regularly and giving regular attention is no problem at all. I'm done with work in the afternoon which leaves me plenty of time to get dogs out for exercise and socializing. Dorothy, my wife, also has plenty of daytime open for play time and extra loving. I work from home and regularly take play breaks, Dorothy, my wife is home most days and offers lots of love. We try to get to the dog park now and then on the weekends. We have a modest fenced in back yard with a wooded lot behind us, I walk dogs regularly in several areas. We keep also keep a toybox full of dog toys :-)

This dog is one we personally think may be a great addition to a family, especially one that already has a dog! Of course, on the days we do this, we aren't available to offer daycare/boarding. If you have a HSMC graduate pup from May 2023 onward we would love to see our old friends again! Please let us know and we will offer a free day of boarding or daycare as a token of appreciation for adopting a HSMC pup! When we confirm a booking you should know that at least one of us will likely be with your dog at all times, day or night. We both work from home quite often and before confirming a reservation we will check/adjust our schedules to make sure someone is going to be home during the day. It is important to your pup's experience and safety that someone is watching them at all times. NEW! Tractive GPS Tracking The safety and wellbeing of your dog is always important to us and we know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet behind. That is why we have added a GPS tracker to utilize. Not only will your furry loved one's location always be known at any given second, but we can also track their health to make sure they are doing well during their stay. -We currently only have one device, so it is not a guarantee your dog will be utilizing it during their stay. If you would like to guarantee it for your pup during their stay, we can accommodate these types of requests at the time of booking for $5/night or $25/stay. -We can share access to the tracker so you can know your pups location at any time and can check in on their health. It will show various information like their sleep activity and exercise information. This is only available if you reserve the tracker ahead of their stay. ---NEW! We are now privately insured outside of Rover. This allows additional and even more comprehensive coverage for your pup while they stay with us. Through PSA we are able to offer up to $2,500 in deductible free veterinary care if your pup gets hurt/ill.--- Our house features a spacious half acre yard that is fully fenced in. You will get plenty of pictures and updates of your pup under our care. Please let us know the frequency of pictures/updates you would like and we will be happy to show you how your pup is doing. About: I have owned horses and dogs my whole life and have a love for animals. I have been watching family friend’s dogs for years and I wanted to get more into pet sitting/walking! I also volunteered at the humane society all throughout college so I have a lot of experience with cats of all personalities as well as dogs that may be shy or have triggers. About: I grew up with a variety of pets, and I thoroughly love all kinds of animals! My family had a dog about 19years, and we took care of him from puppy years to old age. I have my own dog, Roxy a collie mix, who I raised by myself from 4mo old and she has learned so much! I am a travel nurse so I’m not from the area and I am free any day that I’m not working! About: Throughout my 18 years, I had 5 dogs all Chihuahuas. They were definetly harder to take care of and train. My recent dog passed away 2 years ago due to skin cancer. I wasn't sure what to make of it. I knew he wasn't going to make it but I still continued to attempted to feed him, clean his sore on his nose and get him diapers to use the bathroom in. When he left, I had a void as if I was missing something. I began dog sitting for a close friend in the beginning of 2025, I realized that I enjoyed being surrounded by animals to comfort me. It makes me feel like I have a friend again. I treated them like they were my own. I followed the schedules and instructions that were given to me and tried to make sure that I was doing everything correctly. I asked questions before and during the pet care to make sure the pet felt safe as if there parents were taking care of them. In the summer, I will be enrolled in a Nursing Assistant course, however, it will only be for 4-5 hours 2 times every week. I am a college student so I will try to be getting as much money as I can to help me achieve my future goals and career. However, I will mostly be free throughout the afternoon and night to achieve the needs of my employer. In my clients home, I will try my best to offer what I can in cases of safety in the environment. If the client doesn't want their cat to be wondering outside then I will try my best to keep them inside. While walking the dog, I will try my best to be patient until they pee or poop. I will try to follow what's best on the schedule for the clients pets.

About: I've taken care of animals of all kinds since I was 3 years old. Cats, dogs, birds, ferrets gerbils and as an adult horses cows chickens although I'm assuming you're not going to be dropping off any of those I am pretty much home anytime and available to watch animals day or night. I am self employed as a farmer during the summer but off during the wonter I have a newly updated 100-year-old home with two rooms that kitties can stay in if they are shy and don't play well with other cats. About: I have been taking care of dogs my whole life. I have always had a dog in my home, and this previous year I raised a puppy so I have experience with that as well. I am also good with senior dogs, as well as, dogs who are blind and/or deaf. At home, I walk my dogs daily as well as let them outside as often as they needed. I spent a lot of time playing with them and giving them lots of love. I often cat sit, and I love to spend extra time at the house playing with the cats, whether they are interested in me or couldn’t care less. I miss my dogs like crazy so I am super excited to meet your furry friends! I am a full time college student, so I have classes throughout the week. Monday’s and Tuesday’s are my busiest days, so I probably will not take jobs that land on either of those. The rest of my weekdays are pretty open, as long as your dog can go a couple hours home alone. As for the weekends, I do not have any specific time commitments. I most likely will not be able to spend all day Saturday and Sunday in your home, but if you communicate how much time your pets need I can do my best. I am happy to spend Friday and Saturday nights in your home, but I will sleep in the dorms on any school night. At home, we did not have any fence to keep our dogs in the yard. I supervise at all times when a dog is outside, and I am open to taking them out on a leash if that is what you prefer.
About: I grew up on a farm and have been around animals, particularly dogs and cats my whole life. I've had my two rescue dogs for about 4 years and each require specific needs. Easy to say that I can adjust to whatever special need you and your dog may need. I am able to take care of any size, age, energy level, and temperament I work full time day shift on a roating schedule. I'm new to the area and looking for some extra income. I am able to be flexible with my off time and complete drop in visits during my off time. I will ask clarifying questions to assure I am aware of what you expect from me. Some of these questions will be about their food/water routine, exercise, any preferred toys/treats/walking route. I'll be sure to give your pet lots of attention and love. About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from a local rescue. I recently earned a degree in animal science and have plans to attend veterinary school. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! I take my dog for two walks a day, a shorter 10-15 minute walk in the morning, and longer 30-45 minute walk after work in the afternoon. On days I am not working, I go on multiple short walks a day. There are paths I walk for both off-leash and on-leash walking. Typical available days are T-F. Weekends vary. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied. I take pride in keeping a pet environment clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.
