Leslie was loving, caring and she treated Frances, my terrier-dachshund with the closest and kindest attention—plenty of walks, balanced diet, happy human company to sleep with when she desired, and various places to rest—so Leslie passed those all those important measures.She also sent me photographs with comments fairly often, which delighted me and made me know that Frances was safe and happy! But then, of Great value was the fact that she always could find positive human companionship—her cousin came, and let Frances and another dog, sleep on his knee, looking utterly content, her roommate really liked Frances and showed it, and Leslie did too. AND there was always her dog, and then occasionally a neighbor’s dog or another client’s dog visiting for a number of hours. That was Heaven for Frances, and just what I was hoping for. A place where Frances could be, as Leslie put it, a member of a pack. NOT a large, in any way overwhelming pack, but a small pack, consisting of one or two or conceivably three other dogs, which she could be with. THAT and the essential human warmth which was very much present—was all I could dream of—and Leslie provided it. Thank you so, so much. I will definitely use her services again! About: I'm a lifelong animal lover who started pet sitting for neighbors as a preteen. I have a lot of experience managing my leash- and dog-reactive dog over the years (sadly my fur babies have now all crossed the rainbow bridge). About: I've pet sit for my friends dogs and have raised a corgi puppy from 10 weeks old! I love dogs and will treat yours like mine. I have a playful and friendly corgi who plays well with all dogs. Plus I give excellent scratches. I will send a bunch of photos, as long as you don’t mind me spamming you with them! We do at least 3 walks a day, dog parks after work, and fun adventures on the weekends. Normally we eat breakfast around 8:30, go for a potty walk, and play. During the weekday, I take them out every 4 hours and do mental puzzles at home. If the weather is nice, we will go to a nearby dog park. On weekends, we tend to go out for outdoor adventures if the weather is nice I live in an apartment with ample walking nearby. Super dog friendly neighborhood. We have space to set up crates if needed. I am a neat person and will clean up after myself and the dogs. She also knows just how to manage my puppy’s anxiety and doesn’t see her anxiety as a hassle but is instead so empathetic and dedicated to building her confidence. She introduced our dogs to her dogs over time and in a way that didn’t stress my puppy out. She takes them on lots of walks and they come back from day care happy and tired!”
About: Over the past 20 years, I’ve had three dogs, a Pomeranian, an Akita, and a Yorkshire Terrier. Each one had a different personality, but they were all very attached to me. None of them went to a training school, but they were all well-behaved. I trained them myself before they turned one year old. I currently live in a clean, quiet, pet-free home. There are no pets living in the house at this time, so visiting dogs will not have to share the space with other animals or adjust to another pet’s presence or scent.
