I started Rover a few years ago but had to stop due to time constraints from my full time job, but now I’m committing all my time to pet care. Currently, I have three cats and two dogs, who are all rescues. I’ve had both of my dogs since they were only a few months old. So I understand the trials and tribulations of puppyhood…puppy training, crate training, obedience training, and leash walking. Hiccup and Paris both love other dogs! They have experience with dogs of all sizes! Hiccup is more of a cuddler and couch potato. Paris is higher energy and loves to play. They would be so excited to have a dog come stay with them. About: My wife and I have been dog sitting for multiple friends over the years and as Rover sitters since August 2020! We both love meeting new furry friends (and their owners) - we have 2 small dogs of our own. We do prefer to sit dogs with low to medium energy levels (to accommodate our elderly dog) and 2 years or older, but we can definitely make exceptions on age and energy level with a Meet & Greet. I work from home, so I’m readily available to keep your pet companion company while you’re away on vacation, business or if your grumpy mother-in-law who doesn’t like dogs is in town. Our home has a wide open floor plan with plenty of room to accommodate the even rowdy (but well mannered), playful ones, and has a very secure backyard. Happy to take your loved one on walks (except during afternoons in summer), on outings to the park and make any other accommodations to make their stay as comfortable and stress free as possible while they’re separated from their 'hooman'.

About: Hello everyone!, my name is Dominique and I have always had a dog in my life. My earliest memories consist of watching and helping my dog give birth and raise 10 puppies when I was 4 years old. Volunteering at the Austin Animal Center as a teenager was a natural step in my love for animals. I walked the small dogs outside for bathroom breaks and playtime while keeping puppies occupied when their crates were getting cleaned. I also walked the large dogs from their suites to the group play area and supervised multiple large dogs’ interactions. My friends have been trusting me to care for their animals and homes for 7 years now, and I have absolutely loved it! My experience ranges from small dogs to big dogs, puppies to seniors, and I have administered oral medication numerous times. The longest I have house sat was a week straight and the most animals I have cared for at a time is 4. I can’t wait to meet you and your babies❤️ I am currently working part time as a babysitter so I have a lot of availability for walks, feeds, hangouts, play, and cuddles! I am available seven days a week for feedings, walks, and daytime care starting at 10:30 am and into the night. For housesitting visits, I can come and stay at your house Friday night, Saturday night, and holidays for overnight care. First of all, I respect, follow, and complete all written or spoken directions on how to care for your pet and take care of your house. A typical sitting appointment for me is being there to provide food/water, frequent bathroom breaks, outside play, inside play (if given permission), a walk around the neighborhood (if requested), and a movie night with unlimited cuddles 🥰. I believe that it’s important to follow your pets’ cues so if they need extra attention, I am there to play or run around and if they need more space/alone time, I give them that time adjust. While we are having nap/down time, I will complete any household task asked of me which can consist of gathering the mail, putting out trash cans, watering the plants, etc. My favorite part of this experience is forming a bond with clients both human and dog so you can feel comfortable leaving your home in a trusted person’s hands!

About: My family has relied on me to to take care and watch over their dogs, whether it be playing with them, cooking for them, taking care of bath time, walks, or simply just someone to watch over them so they won't be alone. I care for my dogs like they are my own family, and I only would want to treat your precious furry friends and members of the family the same way. Im currently in between work, so im using this as a way to keep money coming in. My schedule is open 7 days week and I have a personal vehicle of my own. So if needed I can run errands and pick up any supplies your pets may need, and in case of emergency, you can count on me to bring your pet to a qualified veterinarian. Simply get with me to make the time frames you would want or need for the day of your choice. Am open to pet sitting for more than one day if needed so. And if your not comfortable with a sitter staying in your own home, im a perfectly capable to make constant check ups on your pets through the days your gone My dog is a rowdy and territorial Yorkie. But I love him all the same. A very playful dog who would bring you his toy for when he wanted playtime. My dog gets to have all the playtime he can have and enjoy long walks, while exploring new neighborhoods to mark. I give him foods he would need, along with his dry food that he has access to anytime of the day and I give him treats that are good for building up jaw strength and cleaning his teeth. While keeping his fur, and nails in check as well, once every two weeks. To ensure no grass or stickers get stuck in his hair during his walks. Overall my Yorkie, has loyalty and love for me, as I do for him. I take care of and pet sit my uncles dogs, one is a retriever border collie mix, and the other is a husky. Both dogs are females and have two completely different personalities, one has energy to play at all times of the day, while the other likes to have attention and belly rubs. I've taken care of these dogs ever since they were pups, and they have impressed on me and always love when I visit them. My uncle trust me to watch over his dogs even when gone for weeks at a time.

I know that big dogs and small dogs have very different needs, and I adjust my care accordingly. About: I’ve taken care of my own fur baby for 7 years now. Friends and family has relied on me to walk, feed, and take care of their pets as well. I do have another full time job so I’m mostly available in the evenings but I’m happy to squeeze in some times for walks and drop ins. I’m wide open on weekends.
