After dropping off my dog I asked if she could possibly trim his nails. I had made a grooming appointment but it wasn't for another 2 weeks, and my dog was slipping on hard wood floors. She happily offer to see if her groomer could squeeze him in for a quick nail trim. She was able to and I paid a small fee to the groomer. I plan to bring Charlie back for any future trips. A+ experience!”

About: I've always loved cats- the aloof, the talkers, the snuggles. I can administer most medications and will keep up on keeping everything fresh (food, water, litter box). Some cats are immediate snugglers and some need some time to scope out the situation. It's all good! I never push but am an available lap.

About: Hi! We are a sister team with over a decade of experience in dog rescue and animal care! We have veterinary experience and can provide basic medical care such as injections or administration of medications. We love animals and are patient and understanding. We can’t wait to meet you & your pet! Every pet is different and has different needs. We like to learn about those in advance and proceed on a per pet basis. Some dogs need more patience and structure for instance, or benefit from mental stimulation as much as physical. We can adjust our care style to the specific needs of the client. The pets safety and comfort is of top priority. We have availability throughout the week and can often accommodate weekend requests as well. Please note bookings m-f between 11am-2pm are the most popular time slots and often secured in advance by weekly reoccurring. We can offer drop ins, cuddle sessions, structured walks, play time/toys, work on basic training, exercise sessions and more! Pets under our care are our top priority and will be treated like family.

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: Retired military medic used to have and to help friends and battle buddies when their animals had to go when they had to go overseas or on TDY work trips and things like that also help friends and things too. I am very by the book so if you leave me a list of rules and what needs to happen I'll make sure it gets done. I have a very open schedule. I work from home so if you need me at any point in time I can make it fit within my schedule. For the safety of your pets and things, I usually like to do a quick visit to make sure that we're going to get along. I know if it is a cat that a lot of times trust needs to be earned with them and that you can't just pull them out from wherever they're hiding a lot of times it's earning their trust for them to be come out and be friendly. You do not force it on them.

We love going on walks together and I’d love to give your dog a similar experience! While in my care, I will treat your dog as one of my own, and give them a bunch of treats in the process (as long as you're okay with it of course). I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule. To be specific, early mornings, evenings, or weekends work best, but I could make other times work with communication. I enjoyed perfect peace of mind during my family’s 4 day trip thanks to all the updates, photos, and videos that she sends each day. I could see that he was eating, playing energetically with the other dogs (in her grassy fenced-in yard), napping on the cool floor on a hot day (just like he does at home), and cuddling up on the couch with Debby in the evenings. At pick up and drop off, it is clear that Mookie adores Debby, and that they have their own special connection. Debby’s genuine affection for her clients gives both Mookie and me a sense of peace and comfort while we are apart!”
