While I'm not a vet tech, I had a cat who had diabetes, IBD, and a heart issue, so I have experience administering a variety of medications, including injections, pills, liquids, and transdermal applications. Thanks to my own experience, I deeply understand the importance of keeping up with a routine, not just for cats with medical needs, but for all cats. I've also been a volunteer with a local cat rescue for two years where I clean their space, feed, and socialize the cats. “I’m giving Markie five stars because Rufus‘s instructions were followed just fine. The only problem I had is that on Saturday we asked for his visit to be from 5 to 530 and she showed up at 5:30. Then on Sunday we asked for 9 to 930 and she showed up at 20 after nine. I don’t like the thought of my cat wondering where his food is. He has all the kibble he needs so it wasn’t as if he were starving, but being on time is very important to me and it was when I was a sitter. I really do appreciate Markie’s care of our cat. It was just a little delayed. Again, though, five stars and a tip.”

About: Hi! I’m Alex, I’m a 28 year old graduate student in Pittsburgh and am looking to make some extra cash by doing the thing I love most - taking care of animals! I grew up with multiple dogs (big and small, young and old), two foster cats and four bunnies. I currently have one dog living with me :) I have a lot of experience with training both pups and adult dogs and have dealt with multiple difficult cases while volunteering at an animal shelter during undergrad. About: I have been watching animals as my full-time profession for over 12 years. I am very loving, nurturing, patient, trustworthy, organized and dependable, which helps me succeed in my speciality of watching the animals out of their homes. However, I do have a very friendly shih-tzu in my home that allows me to watch dogs in my home as well. Half of my yard is fenced in, and the other 1/2 has two leads in case there are dogs that may need separated. I also will walk them daily for exercise. At the meet and greets, I go over a plan where we set the number of hours I can be gone for my walks and visits, and I work within the time frame requested. However, if your pets need let out, fed, etc any where under six hours, I will need to adjust my pricing. I have to honor my regular customers as well. I have worked with all sizes of dog, administer medications, insulin injections, seizure experience, and am known to be very strong, and able to handle the larger breeds. I gave more time to spend with your animals. I have a large yard with 4 leads. Also half of my yard is fenced in. They are never left outside unattended. Will provide daily walks as well if needed. Someone is always home with your dogs but could be crated if needed. At your home if I watch your animals, I am very trustworthy and follow directions to a tee. I respect your home and leave it the same as when I got there.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 9 years old. My family has had 3 dogs at a time since then and I have always been responsible for watching them, letting them out, and feeding them. I currently own a year old Jack Russel named sir loin and he is absolutely obsessed with making friends! I’m always available on during the week and weekend as I have a remote job. About: I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs! I have experience feeding, playing, bathing, walking, and even training young dogs with simple things. About: I had numerous dogs growing up and currently have one of my own, Finley, a Goldendoodle; I adore looking after pets and others. About: When I was 13 years old I house sat for my first dog ever- Harley. Ever since Harley I have been dog sitting, and walking for over 10 years. They kept me updated with photos throughout her stay, which gave me tremendous peace of mind, and they even took her on a nature hike so she could enjoy some time outdoors. “Kristina is your girl!!! We had an unexpected emergence and had to fly out of state. Kristina responded to our request for a sitter and helped me through the process (I’d never used Rover). She was available for last minute drop off and made me feel comfortable about where our dog was while we were dealing with an extremely stressful situation. She sent pictures of our pup and encouraged us to check in whenever. Squishy came home smelling like she just had a bath and had fully washed blankets.
