About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, I usually feed, walk, bathe, and even entertain my dogs, my friends dogs, and my family members dogs. I’ve helped train puppies before and have had to give medicine or specific treatment to dogs with certain needs. I’ve also taken care of Guinea pigs, hamsters, and a tortoise. I am currently a college student and have fostered multiple dogs while also taking care of my own dog by myself. First thing in the morning I let my dogs out then feed them and entertain them. I’ll clean my dogs ears, brush their teeth, bathe them when needed. Let them sleep and play and continue the process of letting them out Since my apartment does not have a yard, I take my dog out on a leash at least 4 times a day and may vary depending on her diet. She gets fed twice a day. In your own home I will respect how you take care of your dogs, and closely follow your rules. In my care, I will keep my eyes on them and take note of anything out of the ordinary, while giving you updates!

Pinky is crate trained, so if your fur baby is crate trained I'll have no problem letting them out in the morning, and putting them in at night. If you have a senior animal, or an animal that needs medication, let me know all of the care details, so I can keep them on schedule and keep them comfortable and cared for!

I loved fostering dog for awhile, I have worked with many of different breeds from aggressive dogs to very sweet shy dogs. I normally do night shifts on Tuesday nights, Friday nights, and every other weekend. when it come to house sitting or boarding your animal I will move my work schedule around to best accommodate what you need. I live in a big town house, I have a huge back yard that is not fenced in but I am able to walk them around in. There is a dog park down the street from me and a park across the street as well. As for inside of my house it is always clean and safe for big or little animals to stay in. I have a beds in my living room for a animal to lay down on as well as a spear bed room that shy animals can hide away in if they wanted. I do not have any animals at my house to worry about interacting with yours. I am a very safe and loving home. I grew up helping pet-sit the neighborhood dogs, and my family loved a rescue German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix from the time I was 10 (she was 2) until she was 15 - she watched us grow up and even visited my college house. As an adult, my heart belonged to January, a border collie/American Staffordshire terrier mix I brought home in my late 20s after seeing her story on the news. She was an energetic, clever puppy who taught me patience, consistency, and the value of positive training. We had 13 wonderful years together before she passed in November 2025. Losing January left a hole in my routine and my heart, and I’m not quite ready to adopt again - but I’ve found real joy and healing in caring for other people's pets. I've recently house-sat and hosted dogs, cats, and birds for friends and family, from puppies and kittens to seniors on medications with special needs. That experience, plus a gentle nudge from the people who suggested Rover, is what brings me here. I've used the same trusted vet since I was a kid and know the ropes - comfortable administering medication, contacting the vet, or getting emergency care if needed. Your pet will be loved, watched closely, and cared for like one of my own. I work a hybrid schedule: two days at home (typically Monday and Friday) and three 8-hour days in an Avon Lake office (Tuesday-Thursday). My schedule is flexible and easy to swap these days. I can use my noon lunch break for midday walks, potty breaks, and playtime if you're within 5-10 miles of my location. I’m available in the evenings after work for walks, feeding & visits. I'm also happy to water plants, bring in mail, and handle other small house-sitting tasks. I live in a cozy Lakewood duplex on the first floor with a front yard and porch that dogs (including my former dog and the neighbors’ dogs) love to lounge on. I have a yard stake leash available for safe outdoor time. I already have bowls, beds, leashes, and other supplies, so your pup won't need to travel with a pile of gear if you don’t want to. I can board up to two dogs at a time -any size, any friendly mix - but I don't board cats in my home (happy to care for them at yours).
About: I have had dogs in my house my whole life, and for the past few years, I have been dog-sitting for numerous families for long periods of time. I am equipped to walk, let out, feed, administer medications, play, and take care of any other needs your dog may have. I work as a caregiver on Saturdays and Sundays for 6 hours each day, but otherwise, I can spend the rest of my time with your pup. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a long time as they have always been a family pet for me, as we typically had 4 at time. I’ve also pet sat for neighbors and friends. I am currently not working so I have open availability. I have no pets at home so I am able to stay and pet sit. I have a car so can take dogs on rides and take them to parks and out for walks. About: I take care of my two dogs named Ivy and Cooper I rescued them both when they were puppies Cooper is now 12 and Ivy is now 4. I walk them once a day. I cuddle and play with them a lot. I’m currently not working so my schedule is very flexible right now to watch and take the dogs for a walk five days a week. “Derek is an excellent communicator! We are so thankful to Derek for taking such great care of our pup, Mango, while we were away for a week. We had a hard time finding the right dog sitter and did several meet-and-greets before we found Derek. He made us feel comfortable and confident that Mango would be in good hands. On the first day we dropped Mango off, I was honestly so anxious because it was our first time leaving her with a new dog sitter. But Derek immediately started sending us updates and photos throughout the day. It almost felt like we were never away from our pup.
