“I’m thinking of the below for the public review. What do you think? Melanie was a fantastic drop-in sitter for our two cat household. She spent the allotted time taking care of the daily chores (litter/food/water) and then any remaining time playing with the cats. She stayed in constant communication with us and sent videos and photos of the cats daily. The cats really seemed to enjoy playing with her! She also remembered to water our plants each day, which is beyond the scope of her duties. She had no problem adjusting to unfortunate circumstances that came up and was happy to help solve them. Our automatic feeder stopped working while we were gone, and Melanie helped us troubleshoot it. After it was clear it needed to be replaced, she retrieved the new feeder we had delivered and set it up. She even went out to get batteries from the store to make sure it operated properly. I would highly recommend her and will be using her services in the future.”

Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible freelance schedule and currently no full-time job. This allows me to dedicate consistent time and attention to the pets I care for throughout the day. I’m able to plan my work around walks, drop-ins, feeding schedules, and playtime, making sure each pet gets reliable care and attention. Because of this flexibility, I’m also available for morning, midday, evening, and weekend visits when needed. My routine allows me to be dependable, responsive to pet parents, and fully focused on providing safe, attentive care for every pet. I provide attentive, reliable care that keeps pets comfortable and safe in their usual environment. In a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible—feeding on schedule, providing fresh water, taking dogs on walks, cleaning up after them, and making sure they get plenty of playtime, exercise, and affection. I also monitor their behavior and well-being to ensure they are happy and healthy while you’re away. For drop-ins or walks, I make sure pets get the physical activity and attention they need, along with bathroom breaks and any specific care instructions you provide. I respect your home, keep things clean, and send regular updates and photos so you know your pet is doing well. My goal is to make pets feel safe, loved, and stress-free while giving owners peace of mind.
